Amazing view at sunset!
Great views of bay sitting on patio. Brunch was wonderful , fun chocolate fountain, great service!
5 Stars all the way!! Excellent... Halibut.. risotto and green beans... excellent flavor! Would order it again. Best Cosmo I’ve ever had.. definitely would recommend.
Excellent location and tasty menu with wonderful variety. Service was perfect and the location was great. Highly recommended
Great food with a gorgeous view of Mission Bay at sunset.
I took my daughter there to forget
About not being invited to the prom! It made her day! Beautiful atmosphere!!
Food was good, but way too overpriced for what it was. Restaurant was completely empty except for us, which should have clued us in.
From the moment we stepped foot at the host stand it was an amazing, friendly experience. The waiter was knowledgeable and helpful about food and drink choices and the chef even stopped by our table later on in the evening. Tidal gave my husband a great birthday dinner experience. We’ll be going back for sure!
The Food was overpriced and fish was bland, but the view and the staff were great.
Great restaurant for the area and in general. Laid back but very nice. Great service as well. Not cheap though
Great great great place for great high en food. Always something different and innovative....
Definitely will keep going
Great location and view, very relaxing and food snd services were really good. I’m adding it to my list of cool places in San Diego.
This was our first visit to Tidal and we enjoyed the visit immensely. The Brunch Menu was unique with many delicious choices. Our waitstaff was very knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. We sat outside with a perfect view of the water. I highly recommend the drive to this wonderful restaurant.
I am a flight attendant foodie!!! I eat my way through the world!! This was the best fish I have ever had!!!
We had such a beautiful experience at your restaurant! My girlfriend and I came there for the weekend and we were celebrating a couple of special occasions- our anniversary and my birthday. We arrived early and were greeted immediately upon arrival . We decided to sit at the bar for a brief happy hour while our table was ready. At 6:30 promptly, we were greeted by the hostess And we were seated at the best table in the house. We were seated out doors at the edge to catch a beautiful sunset with our dinner.
The servers came over immediately and to greet us an offer us drinks and appetizers. I ordered some wine while my girlfriend ordered a margarita on the rocks. We treated ourselves to the Caesar salad and the octopus appetizer. For dinner, we ordered the delicious Hawaiian rolls, I ordered the filet mignon and she ordered the scallops. The setting, the ambiance, the company, the service, and the quality of the food was simply perfect. I am an executive chef and director of food service myself therefore, most dining experiences for me and it being mediocre. I was truly impressed by your restaurant, your staff and your meals. We will definitely be back. This was by far one of my favorite dining experiences ever. Thank you for being a part of our special occasions. Forever in our hearts. Love, Joanna and Erika 💕
The food and service at Tidal was amazing. We had an outstanding salad with beets, and the stuffed trout was wonderful. Highly recommend the sorbet trio for dessert - the coconut cream sorbetto is incredible.
This is a great find tucked away on the grounds of the Paradise Point resort. The food selections are very creative, with unusual ingredients and combinations. Weather permitting, sitting outside is great, as you can be right on the water. Service was excellent and overall it was a great experience. It is not cheap, but not unreasonable for this level of cuisine.
First, the bartender Nick was very cordial and helpful as mixologist.
A social media rep was there doing a story on the restaurant and the
Chef Shawn. Good insights to the food. Brent was our waiter at took
Excellent care of us. A special fois gras and scallop appetizer was served
By Hawn himself. Wonderful!! Steak and wine paired with sunset background
Was terrific... please try them out.
Beautiful location, with a great view of Mission Bay and great food to match.
The layout was great. The food was excellent. Service was attentive. We had a good time
Excellent Sunday brunch, a litttle light on the menu choices but what we had was top notch. Great location and view.
Food was excellent. Best swordfish I've ever had. Service was great as well as was the view. Patio was well heated on a chilly late March evening so no worries about sitting outside any time of year!
Expensive evening, but really nicely done meals. I can't tell you how many times I've asked for a filet medium, to have it either raw or overdone. This one? Perfect!
Stange atmosphere and mediocre service for such a high end seeming place. It's part of some resort? Lot of families and kids...weird.
Finally, $17 for a Martini? Please...
Birthday brunch get-together. Really good service. Food was tasty and well done. Prices were of good value. One dish everyone really loved was the doughnuts.
AMAZING new brunch by Chef Reyes! Well done! The menu is creative, colorful & the flavor profiles will make you feel like your on vacation!
Delightful find tucked into a sweet little resort. Lovely atmosphere, great service, and very tasty, updated continental cuisine. A couple of real stand out items and everything was delicious.
Loved the spot! Total hidden gem! Logan was our server he was outstanding. Waterfront ambience, croque madam was very good a little heavy on the cheese, lump crab fried rice was outstanding. Carnitas bennies were good they were a little cold, but tasty. We’ll be back to try the frenchtoast and also for dinner!
I would like to like this restaurant but they are horribly mismanaged. Dinner reservations were not honored in a timely way. The hostess said we were checked in and then forgot about us. The kitchen only made about 20 entrees over two hours and that seemed to stretch them. The food was ok but the prices were 4 or 5 star level and did not merit the quality. The wait staff was friendly but this place is dysfunctional.
We have frequently brought friends from out of town here and usually go In Dec. for boat parade. This last time was embarrassing!
We had reservations and it was a Monday night. Arrived at 5:45 ordered promptly and was not served entrees until almost an hour later.
Food on new menu was just average and not worth the price . Management and wait staff were apologetic but still the experience was not what we expected.
We booked a special dinner date at the Tidal restaurant at the Paradise Point resort a month in advance. I spoke to the reservations person to request our favorite table. I verified the week before my open table notes stated we wanted our special table. Again, the day before spoke to the hostess calling to confirm our reservation to be sure and save table 22, she said yes she had that noted. On the day of our date I called again to ensure we were set. 4 times I did my part in planning a perfect evening. Well you can imagine how I felt to walk in early before our 6 pm reservation to find the hostess has seated someone at our table. Ruined my surprise for my husband. The manager apologized ; I told him it’s not his fault but it’s that hostess lack of diligence who ruined my plans. They put us in the middle of all the loud noise at a big table instead of a romantic cozy corner.
The lesson: the hostess needs to be replaced and if you are planning an evening where details matter, pick another restaurant. Procedures should be addressed to ensure customer requests are supported. This is twice in 60 days this has occurred.
Very small cute place. Way to bright. Very small portions. Food was just ok. The place is way over priced. Our server was awesome. Dessert was terrible
Won't be back
Good but overpriced. It was a good place for someone that is not very hungry and enjoys small dishes. The dishes were good but not worth the money. The best part were the wide comfy chairs because it's all about comfort.
Outstanding restaurant. The service, the food and the ambiance was spot on. Will be dining here often. Especially when we have friends in from out of town.
Great food. Kitchen was a little backed up but we weren’t in a rush. Best chocolate cake ever! ! !
We had a wonderful meal in a quiet relaxed setting.
Waiter was amazing. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was amazing. Everything was amazing!
Fabulous! A little pricey but the food was perfectly delicious and worth every penny. The waiter was fantastic! The atmosphere is amazing! We’ll be back for sure.
Overall very nice experience at Tidal. Portions were small but food quality very good. Reasonable wine prices. Good service and nice atmosphere. Will re-visit when it's warmer and will try to catch sunset.
Food and service were good but we also picked a cold night when no one else was there (low season) so getting attention was not a problem.
They also add a 4% fee to the bill as some stupid offset to a local increase in minimum wage. I thought that was unethical. Add it to your prices so people know how much they are spending - don’t slip it in on the tab at the end!!! Is this common in San Diego??
