Good was delicious! Be sure to get the cauliflower app and cabbage salad. The crab cake tacos are amazing!

The food was pretty good, but the service was horrible. Our server barely interacted with us and made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her just by being there. The drinks weren't very good either. This is the 2nd time I've had an awful experience with the employees of Tico.

Went there with another couple and our kids -- 8 people total. After quickly taking our drink order it took a long time to both get the drinks and any chance at ordering apps. We were seated next to a huge group -- 20+ people at one long table, so our impression was the wait staff and kitchen were scrambling to get them going, perhaps at our expense. After those initial hiccups, our waiter did a far better job, even pushing us away from some menu items. He kind of dropped the ball at the end, failing to run our credit card even though we signed a receipt and he returned our card. The result was we had to return to the restaurant so they could run the card. But the food was excellent. Despite some of the issues, I would go back.

I feel like it is not what it used to be.
Maybe it was because it was a Monday.
Also, there was confusion on the 1/2 off Monday drinks notice that came in through open table.

My husband and I had dinner Saturday night. We Ordered grilled octopus which was chilly and cold. In addition we ordered to jumbo shrimp with garlic and shrimp was not FRESH. We ordered the beef tacos came in twos and it was pot roast meat. The fried chicken taco came in cold and again the shrimp taco came from freezer. Tortilla was Nasty and Cold
I will never came to this crappie Mexican place for TACOS EACH $7.00 Complete RIP OFF

Best table in the house! Food, as always, was terrific and graciously served by our terrific waiter, Chrissy. Small plate portions were too much for us, even the addictive shishito peppers. Usually I’m not a big cauliflower fan, but Tico’s version could make me a true believer. Can’t wait to return.

Never disappointed here by the food, drink or service. A couple of beloved dishes have been removed from the menu recently. Still, we enjoyed.

The experience was only OK: Service spilled water and then initially didn’t clean it up. They initially forgot one item (in fairness, they then gave us two but only charged for one). I had asked for a quiet table, but the noise level was very high. The food was good though.

We had a great experience at Tico for Cinco de Mayo. They managed to take a brunch reservation for 10 people that day when any other place was refusing. The food was great and the service was great as well. Would definitely recommend.

We understand that small plates are small, but my husband and I spent $100 (tip included) and left very hungry. (Only ordered 1 drink between us)

The food was delicious. If prices were lower or portions were a bit larger, I'd recommend Tico. Or if you eat like a mouse.

Great experience! Went for brunch, and will definitely go back. Great deal for the food and drinks you get, and the service is on point. You get your food right away and there’s no waiting on drinks. Our server was on top of it. Also, quality of food is great. Mimosas were pretty much just juice but you have options to choose other drinks. And they are good.

Good quality dishes. Breakfast nachos are really good. Not much variety on menu for someone looking to do the "all you can eat" brunch though.

The prawns were mushy and the toast was burnt; the salmon tartar didn't have a lot of flavor (aside from the mayonnaise the fish was drowned in). The roasted cauliflower appetizer was good.

My friends and I came for the bottomless brunch. There was a bit of confusion with my reservation, but it all worked out. Our server was fabulous, constantly ensuring we all had drinks and food. It was my birthday, so she comped us a round of shots and my whole brunch. Great service and food!

Bottomless-brunch is worth every penny at Tico! Unlimited food and drinks (and not just mimosas) was great. The only critique I have is that we would wait quite some time in between drinks until they were re-filled. Otherwise I had a great time celebrating my birthday at Tico.

Overall fine brunch. The food has some highs and lows and the service was a bit slow - I saw the bottom quite a few times for bottomless brunch. I would recommend for a casual brunch with friends.

Definitely a great spot for a boozy brunch if you’re not trying to spend too much and still get bottomless. Not sure I’d go back for seconds if the food weren’t bottomless. The mimosas were good but the Bloody Mary and margaritas left a lot to the imagination.

Our Server Tanae saved the day. The male manager working was
brief and did not seem more knowledgeable/solutions-oriented than anyone else. He told us there were no high chairs, but our server found a booster0 seat and brought it right over. The manager also tried to convince us that our 7 year old would be charged for all-you could eat at $29 for the brunch. The notion is Ridiculous and different than other places that charge $1 for each year of kids who are under 12. Similar to other DC brunch places but the poor customer service from management could be the difference between selecting Tico again or not. Thankfully, the server was great and attentive.

Had a 6:45 reservation on a busy sat night and we were seated right away. Our server, Kevin was relaxed and knowledgeable and very personable. The food runners were also very professional. This place specializes in small plates to be shared and we ordered 5 items (fried calamari, grilled squid, eggplant spread, sweet corn, and a small order of nachos; the guacamole was $17 which we thought was pricey, so we did not get it) With 4 people, we had plenty to eat. Drink menu is also interesting. Lively place, nice ambiance, not too noisy. Would definitely recommend.

Great for groups - easy tables with bottomless food and drinks for a reasonable price. Expo needs some help - don't count on getting what you ordered (and especially not modifications) unless you check in with your server a few times. When the food comes, though, it is tasty!
