About Tiburon Fine Dining

Tiburon Fine Dining has quietly become one of Utah's premier restaurants. Tiburon is located in the south end of the Salt Lake valley in an unassuming building that formerly housed a fruit stand. But don't be fooled, Tiburon serves award-winning contemporary American cuisine ranging from pan-seared Beef Tenderloin with Foie Gras and Madiera syrup to Black Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna with Honey and Soy Marinated Carrots. The Crab Cakes consistently win best in the state and the salads are raved about by the locals. But it does not end with the food, service is always top-notch. Led by a staff that has been with owners since its opening in 1999, guests always feel welcomed in the warm and friendly atmosphere. And in the Summer with it's patio dining. Tiburon is the place to dine in the South Valley.

As always, Tiburon was fabulous. Great food, great service. Don't miss the lamb tenderloin. The creme' brulee' is amazing as well.

The lamb tenderloin was excellent, but a little too peppery, the Sturgeon was absolutely amazing!

My favorite restaurant in Salt Lake. Great food, great service. We had the Tenderloin and Creme Brulee, both excellent. Service is always great - professional, warm and attentive.

The food was excellent, but a bit pricey. Noted it was the wife's birthday at reservation yet noting done special, including less than desirable table.

Tiburon never fails to amaze. I almost always have the lamb. The elk is great as well. The creme brulee' is not to be missed. However, the other desserts are great as well.

Don't listen to the spurious Tiburon reviews that come out in the SL Tribune from time to time. The IQ level at the Trib is so low it can't be charted. Ny wife and I have never had bad service or a bad meal at Tiburon.

The things we ordered were great! We really enjoyed it. I would say i like wild rose restaurant more. It is owned by the same people, but the food was a little better and the ambiance was more modern. But overall, our experience at tiburon was wonderful.

I LOVE this place. The prices are great for the amount of food you get and i have never had something i didn't like here. Everything is always cooked to perfection and so flavorful. It is a nice place we like to go for a special occasion. It is quiet and the lights are low and you can have a conversation without yelling but you know no one else can hear you.

We had people from out of the country and since this is the place we like the most...we thought we would share Tiburon with them. They loved it!! Especially the scallops for appetizers and the elk and lamb for the main course. Best meal yet!!

As usual, Chef Ken Rose prepared a delicious meal. We had the Caprese appetizer made with their own fresh Heirloom tomatoes, lamb entree, and Creme Brule for dessert. Our waitress Sarah was pleasant and efficient, anticipating our every need. We will be back to Tiburon or to The Wild Rose in the District for special occasions in the future or just to treat ourselves!

Tiburon is outstanding with extremely interesting and tasty food. It's always a surprise what the chef thinks will go well and amazing to realize things you might not ordinarily put together can be so outstanding. One of the best restaurants I've ever visited for food preparation innovation.

I loved the Elk dish with mashed potatoes and Spagettie squash (Love the brown sugar)However my wife didnt care for the heavey beef sauce for her tenderloin beef dish, it was over powering to her. The bread was excellant and the salad was uniquely different.
over all, good flavors and presentation outstanding.

Fantastic food and service - again! We have never been disappointed. The Ahi Tuna is marvelous, as are all the entrees we have tried, the pork appetizer is a unique, tasty sensation, the bread and desserts are to die for, the mint infused lemonade - wow, give me a gallon to take home! We'll be back!

While the entrees average around $35 apiece, you get a lot of excellent food for that price: a large salad, a palate-cleansing sorbet, a thick cut of meat and scrumptious sides. The restaurant maintains a garden beyond the patio dining area so it can guarantee that most, if not all, the produce on your plate is fresh.

One of the most outstNding resaturant in Salt Lake, if not the best! The food was to die for, and even if a little pricey at a first glance, the quality of the restaurant overall makes it a steal. Even the cheapest wine on their list are great!

we started our diner with crab cakes. Even in Maine I had never had such good crab cakes. We could tell they had just cooked them.
We then each had a different entree. The entre consist of a salad which was very frlesh, original and excellent, a soop of home made sorbet to clear our mouth (the kind of attention yoy only get at a Michelin restaurant) and then our main dish. All of them were succulent and original. We topped our dinner with their home made creme brule that you have to try! Excelle

One of the best restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley. The menu is relatively small by comparison to some other restaurants, but the ingredients are fresh (they have their own garden out back), the food is expertly prepared, and the service is top notch. I think Tiburon has some of the best servers in town. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and their timing is impeccable. You're never left waiting for your next course nor do you feel rushed.

Small place and a smaller menu, menu is online, vegetarians need not apply. From the salad to the sorbet (best I have ever had) and the main course Elk it was mostly phenomenal, I did not care much for the mashed potatoes they where bland. The salad had pumpkin seeds, mixed greens and apples, I am not a salad guy but, I will have to make a an effort to recreate this one. The place was full on a Wednesday evening odd bar and waiting area, not the most comfortable seating, pierced tattooed black clad staff, decent atmosphere, mostly patio seating.
