Romantic setting! Well balanced menu with good choices for everyone. Excellent service from the whole hotel staff!
Did not injury the meal at all and I'm not a fussy eater disappointed the server was great!
Really slow service so was full of bread by the time dinner arrived. It was ok. Appetizer not good. Drinks were terrible, worse than in a nightclub after midnight. Ordered two standard classics and they were a slushy cheap mess one after another. Hard to get waiter's attention the whole time. Not much to recommend here
Wonderful lunch and superb waiter - We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Queens Landing, it is elegant and the food is very good.
Great. Prices amazing. Wonderful service.
The restaurant is rather nice, if not plain, it doesn't seem to fit with the vintages hotels. We were early for our reservation so we took a look around the hotel, they had some grand sitting rooms and the lobby was big and grand also. The hotel is filled with antiques, was going to peek at the pool but there was a fitness class going on and you would have to walk in on them to see the pool. So we went back to the restaurant it was forked off one side was a bar type of pub affair and the other fine dinning. They seemed to be understaffed, we saw them moving quickly back and forth to the kitchen, but the food came out slowly and the wait staff seemed to have too many tables to handle, when it finally did come to your turn the service was good, but the wait time was too much, we will not be back. The parking is free as is the wifi.
Excellent food and ambiance. We went for my son's birthday and really enjoyed the food and service. Would definitely go back and in fact have made reservations for wife's birthday in June.
We (4) had the wine tasting menu, it was a lot of fun and the pairings were spot on. The service was over the top. Amazing!
Outstanding experience for 3 might in a row. Excellent food and service!
Over many years this location bevome our family favorite for special occasions.Food ambiance and service are outstanding.
Love this place, incredible service and attention to detail and the food is absolutely scrumptious. We went here to celebrate our 10yr anniversary and the staff treated us like royalty! Will definitely come back again
My wife and I had dinner here during our stay for the Family Day weekend. dinner came with our weekend package and was a 3 course prix fixe.
The good: The service was - for all intents and purposes - very good. The server was very congenial and nice. The service was the shining story of the evening.
The really really bad: Where do I start? Despite my comment service, I will still say there was a feeling like they were rushing us through dinner to get us out. While I do appreciate quick service I also appreciate being able to actually enjoy my meal and eat each course (I.e. chew it and enjoy, not feeling like I have to enhale 3 courses in 10 minutes in order to get out ASAP).
Also, the food was only lukewarm. I had mussels with bouillabaise for first course and filet mignon with mashed potatoes and vegetables. my wife had salad and strip steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Both our mains and the mussels tasted liked they were nuked just before they were brought out to us. very lukewarm. and our steaks were undercooked: my medium was somewhere between a rare to medium rare and my wife's medium-well was a very nice medium at best. plus, the Brussels sprouts (part of the vegetables) were not cooked enough.
I really really want to recommend the restaurant based on the ambiance and how nice the servers were, but have a hard time doing so given the quality of the cooking - which needs to be far better
Had a date night with my wife. We could never locate our server, and our simple dinner took us 2 hours and 15 minutes. It was 100 minutes at the table prior to getting our entrée. The food was not great either, and the price was high. There are many outstanding restaurants in the Niagara on the Lake area to choose from. Don't risk your money or time going to this one.
Wonderful food and service definitely recommend it 😀
Went to Tiara expecting to be "wowed" given all that we had heard. Left feeling that the evening was "OK", not bad at all, but not a "wow" experience.
We ate breakfast and dinner there while attending the ice Wine Festival. We had the same window table next to a fireplace overlooking the marina for both meals. The food and service was excellent and the hostess was very accommodating in responding to our request for the window seating. The dinner menu is very creative. If you're looking for something lighter, the bar is also excellent. We plan to go back during warmer weather to enjoy their outdoor dining.
Beautiful restaurant and amazing service. I have allergies to shellfish as well as, I’m lactose intolerance! The chef was able to accommodate me with anything I wanted on the menu, i really appreciated that! I felt very comfortable knowing my allergies were taken serious. Food was amazing, I’ve never tasted so many flavours in one meal, I ordered the chicken, my boyfriend ordered the lamb, both our meals were fantastic. We will definitely come back. Thank you for just an amazing experience.
Our server, Rudy, was amazing! He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Our appetizers were unremarkable. The escargot were awful. I can’t remember the last time I had anything so bland. Salt and pepper didn’t even help. The cheese plate, however, was very good.
The main course was good. We both had the beef tenderloin and both were cooked perfectly. No steak knives necessary.
The desserts were excellent. Both presentation and flavor were fantastic.
The coffee was quite weak. Definitely not the quality you would expect for this caliber of restaurant.
Overall, I would say the restaurant is overpriced for the quality of the food. The service from Rudy, however, was outstanding.
Wonderful Ambience and Gerry is always attentive, gracious and appreciative of our return visits.
It was great ambiance but value wise Mandarin beats it hands down. And they give me seniors discount.
I would maybe go again but it would be 50/50
Good services, reasonable prices, good views, good location
Great attention from Jill, who is the best there!!! She knew always what we want and gave us the best recommendations. Great place!
We were both greatly disappointed in the food at Tiara. We had mentioned in our reservation that we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Staff did nothing to acknowledge this. The main course of chicken was presented with different flavours that did not compliment the main course. Our waiter did not serve our meals and was absent throughout the duration. He did not come by to see if our meals were ok. I would have sent the meal back. I can not recommend this restaurant and will not return.
We went out to dinner Christmas Day with friends. The food was delicious. The service was excellent and not rushed. We had plenty of time to visit. There was beautiful live music in the background that we enjoyed. The restaurant was quiet so it was easy to hear and talk with our friends. Thank you for an excellent evening.
The service was great, however the brunch buffet was lacking quality foods; not impressed with the food variety & caliber of gourmet cooking that they boast about.
We had a wonderful time at Tiara. From the greeting, to the service to the food it was such a fantastic night!
We would recommend Tiara to anyone for the food, service and overall experience. Rose, our server, was phenomenal. I have dietary issues and Rose and the chef were wonderful with accommodating and $are it very easy for me.
Thank you for a wonderful birthday!
We had a wonderful dinner at the Tiara Restaurant. It was so romantic. The rose at the end was a nice surprise.
It was a friend’s 30th birthday. The food was fine/acceptable. Nothing to write home about.
The food was delicious and the service wonderful. Highly recommend.
AMAZING food and service. Wonderful presentation of the food and fantastic variety esp. if you're a vegetarian or meat lover. Great waiter - best wait service I've ever experienced. The only criticism I have is that you need more than one person behind the omelette/crepe/carvery station as it took approx. 10 minutes to get a piece of beef. But otherwise I was blown away by it all. And the crème de brulee dessert for my birthday was unexpected and a total delight so thank you so much!
Spend the weekend at Queens Landing on a tasting and dinning package which Included a $50 credit to Tiara. Both my wife and I ordered the beef tenderloin but one got fingerling potatoes and one got mashed potatoes. My wife ordered her steak medium well and I ordered mine medium rare both cooked the way we ordered. Our waiter advised that her steak would take longer and suggested an appetizer. We went with the Arancini balls which were great and you got 5 for only $9. Those came out within 20 min but after we finished that and the bread we did not get our steak or an update from our waiter until an hour and 35 min after we got to the restaurant. It was easily 45 min from when we finished eating the arancini to when we got our entrees. Those were amazing 6 oz I believe cut and they did accommodate our request for different potatoes. Our waiter was good but an update about the delay would have been nice. Was worth it because we had a $50 credit but otherwise might have been a stretch for the quality and service at that cost.
My hubby and I were in Niagara for the weekend as a package. As part on the experience we dined at the Tiara before Shaw. Our server was lovely, easy to have a quite conversation and romantic.
Food was great, staff pleasant and would recommend it . Will come back again to experience
A very nice setting in a lovely hotel. Quiet, and lovely environment. Very good service and a varied menu, fine china etc. Rose was our server and performed her duties capably.
Disappointed. Waitress offered athe Hotel shuttle service but we were turned down by the driver as our B&B was “too far”... literally 5 minutes away... while waiting 1/2 hour for a cab, we overheard him taking guests to a winery two minutes from where we were staying. Beyond that, the food was so so... not worth the price with so many other good options.
Very expensive for food of mediocre quality. Could not finish my meal. Shuttle service was great. Will not dine here again.
This was an amazing dining experience. The food was fabulous and the wine list is fantastic. Because of the wine we had for dinner, we travelled to the winery to buy bottles to take home. Wait staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Waiter was wonderful !
Charcuterie plate was overpriced for what was on it.
Coffee is extremely weak, however when we went for breakfast the next morning and I ordered an espresso to add to our coffee pot to make it stronger, we weren't charged for the espresso. Appreciated. :)
The service was very disappointing - we were all looking forward to coffee and dessert, but the waitress delivered the bill without being asked to. I guess a party of six didn't merit any further attention.
40th Anniversary celebration. We were entertained by special attention provided by our server Rudy. He assured our satisfaction with all aspects of the evening and surprised us with a thoughtful presentation of the dessert order. Rudy willingly assisted with photos that have become our treasured memories of a wonderful evening. The food was exceptional and prepared exactly to our liking. Highly recommend this restaurant for a quiet, romantic evening , ask for Rudy
