Night before dinner was exceptional but last night the pasta dish with the shrimps was not that great
Food was delicious, wait staff were friendly and helpful with selections. Absolutely stunning views.
Very good food and the service was great, enjoyed every minute of it
Celebrated my girlfriends 40th birthday yesterday! This place was the perfect choice...from the food to the service to the ambiance! loved every bit of it - totally gave her a memory to cherish :)
Nice patio, overlooking the marina. It's worth the 5 minutes drive (or you can walk for 15 minutes) from the busy downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Food was good. Good portion size too. I love the fish taco and the beet salad. Price was reasonable.
Seated at the back at the restaurant rather than close to the windows
Sommelier was excellent, the beet salad was amazing the lamb chop was awesome but the other lamb was tough.
Not one complaint. Delicious! Try the scallops. They were mind blowing. The sommelier was very informative and got us the best bottle of red we have ever had. Thank you so much for a great experience
Lovely restaurant, great ambiance wonderful service. Food was excellent. Wine was good and mainly from the region, but limited choice by the glass. We will definitely be going again.
The lamb was outstanding! We were apart of the Summer Lovin Package and it was incredible.
Appetizer- a wee amount of pate , half a pickled plum a teaspoon of some compote, 7 toasted rounds. A heaped teaspoon of chicken liver a sprinkle of greens $28.00.
Portions were tiny. Less than 1 carrot, less than half a potato , 4 string beans 3 lamb chops. $54.00.
excellent staff and food - will return annually with family
Lovely, except the $44.00 Halibut was incredibly overcooked and dry
Smoked chicken was very dry. Coleslaw and potato salad bland. Fish tacos were tiny. Table on patio looked dirty. Server was nice but we waited quite a while for our food. Overall not worth the price and definitely not worth another visit.
Definitely a superb place for relaxed vacation; the price performance is very reasonable for such a wonderful venue.
The outdoor setting was gorgeous, the food was spectacular, the server was very helpful and attentive. Great overall experience.
We found the atmosphere to be cold and unwelcoming. The waitress seemed to be programed with a script. A fruit fly went into my wine glass and we were advised that this happens often as there are lots of fruit flies. We had eaten at several restaurants and did not come across fruit flies. We found that the menu was limited with very minimal selections. I ordered chicken with mushrooms and risotto, looking forward to the risotto, and there was only one tiny spoonful, not even a mouthful! The portions were small, tasteless, with more time spent on presentation rather than a palatable, satisfying cuisine.
We were very disappointed overall.
Beautiful evening on the Terrace
Beautiful flowers and great view
Great. The food and the ambiance was perfect
Always a happy nice time at Tiara. Great food and great service.
Beautiful scenery and patio.
Food was good, not too much variety on menu .
A bit overpriced .
Unfortunately Not a very friendly waiter .Everything we ask seemed too much
Excellent service from our server Kevin. Best lamb ever. Thank you!
Greeted by a wonderful server named Beverly, who offered us a free glass of sparkling wine as we were celebrating our anniversary. Dined on the patio. Food was excellent, with decent portion sizes, and the view of the river was a bonus. Will return.
The hostess was very rude after I requested not to be sat at the table they had reserved for us - a large table (we were only 3) in the middle of a big empty area I made suggestions to use other tables but she was combative at every turn. I apologized for “being a pain” but explained that it was my mothers 70th birthday and I wanted it to be special and my apology was met with total silence from her. The food was great, our server was fine but the hostess came close to ruining the entire experience.
good overall, little slow in getting to serve us, food was very good, out of the wine we requested but second choice was ok,
We arrived 1/2 hour early for our reservation. I told the lady seating people that we will be in the bar for a drink prior to dinner and asked that she seat us at a table with a view of the water. She said...Some people are finishing up but those tables are on a first come first serve basis. So I cannot guarantee you'll get one. I will have to give it to someone who walks up. I said...We are here. Can you give us one when one opens? She argued with me for about 5 minutes and then reluctantly said...OK. I will get you if one opens up. Mind you, the place was about 1/2 full.
We sat at a nice table in the bar, got water and nothing else in 1/2 hour. There seemed to be 1 bartender for the bar and restaurant.
In the restaurant, we were seated at a nice table with a water view. We received our drinks and a menu within 20 minutes. For 30 minutes more, noone came to our table to see if we wanted to order, had questions on the outrageously priced menu, etc. We ordered a beet salad, an arugula salad and the beef and halibut main dishes. The arugula salad and beef main were good except that the beef medallions were more like a New York strip steak, tasty but not tender. The beets on the beet salad were good but the salad dressing was overpowering. The halibut was not fresh, fishy and chewy.
Overall, the service was poor and the meal was 1/2 bad and overpriced. We will not return.
We booked dinner at Tiara for a small wedding party, just the marrying couple and the witnesses, after an open air ceremony at the Queen's Royal Park and it couldn't have been better.
The place is lovely and quiet, the service top class and the food simply fabulous. The fact that it was a quiet and relaxed place was very important to me as I suffer from hyperacusis (hyper sensibility to noise) resulting from acute tinnitus and I need to avoid noisy places.
Every single dish was fresh, abundant, tasty, elegantly presented and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Tomato Bisque. It is absolute perfection, from the seasoning to the tasty crab agnolotti. Same goes for the shrimp pasta and the chicken sous vie.
The sommelier did a great job pairing our choices with a lovely sparkling rose. The desserts were the crowning jewel of a dinner that perfectly catered for our tastes in terms of high quality ingredients and delicate cooking.
The staff was very attentive and helpful and the ambience extremely enjoyable.
Visit when you have time to enjoy the relaxed pace and the fabulous ambiance. It is an integral part of an experience you won't forget.
The Tiara restaurant is nicely situated towards the water so it was enjoyable to watch the boaters coming in from a day on the water. Once the sunset it was very pretty with all the lights. Rose was very pleasant and made sure we were happy with everything. Food was delicious and nicely presented. I would highly recommend this restaurant and hotel.
Great view, great food and Rudy is the best server!!
Food and service superb. Staff are all exceptional. We are repeat customers.
Beautiful patio but very limited patio menu. (Indoor seating still not available because of Covid.) No vegetarian options except for salad.
Had a wonderful time, the food was excellent and our server, Kevin was fantastic! He definitely went above and beyond our expectations!
Everything about this restaurant was wonderful. From our pleasant and friendly waiter the excellent food and beautiful water view this restaurant is top shelf. Can’t wait to go again.
Food somewhat disappointing in terms of both taste and service size relative to price but still a beautiful setting on the patio and service was very good.
Great restaurant, very pleased we picked this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary.
I booked a room c/w meal deal that included dinner and breakfast. The dinner was a meal normally served to royalty, I'm sure. 3 course meal that included scallops, a beef dish that melted in your mouth and dessert...so delicious. Best deal ever!!
Food was amazing and portions were generous. Drinks, ambience and dessert make it a night to remember.
We had the beef and chicken options on the menu..everything was perfection! We also had the romaine hearts which was a perfect start to our meal. Our server was also incredibly nice. He made sure everything was good and to our liking. He also offered to take pictures as we were celebrating our anniversary.
The food is consistently so good. All of the staff are so welcoming and just great.
Celebrating a 64th & a 55th Anniversary .The meal was wonderful , host was very enduring & funny while waiting. ( Rudy ) He made the Anniversaries lovely . Whole evening was fabulous .
