They were CLOSED for the season! Knowing we were going to be there after Labor Day I called in late August to see if they would have their full menu or the bar menu on the 22 nd of Sept. I was told it would be the bar menu. I was NOT told they would be closed for the season! Very poor customer service: I'm sure Open Table sent them my reservation and they had my cell phone number, it was on my reservation. No phone call to inform me that they would not be open. Oh well, we did have a nice meal at Bella's in Clayton, NY.
We made our reservations for a birthday, but low and behold they were closed for the season, but still accepting reservations through open table. Not a happy diner.
We didn't realize it was the last night of the summer season that the restaurant would be open. There was a limited menu but plenty of items for us to choose from. We each ordered the calamari steak appetizer (perfect!) and a Caesar salad (disappointing - just overdressed lettuce). Wevplan to return earlier in the season next year.
Off season menu.. not posted on website. Very disappointed in server and menu choices. 1st Saturday night after labor day weekend and 7 of us were prepared to spend money. Next time we will stay in town.
Great view and very well worth the visit
Waitress could not have been nicer
Food was excellent and the wine list very fairly priced and very diverse
Our friend's birthday.
Ran out of food; extremely noisy and you are better off going to the chateau in Clayton for much better quality. Too bad I've been there several times and it just isn't worth the $$
Grande descriptions of menu items were not fulfilled in presentation. Crispy potato pancake was actually mashed potatoes commercially prepared in a breaded potato patty. Parmesan encrusted tenderloin looked more like mystery meat with some sort of gravy-like covering. Stuffed mushroom Rockefeller was buried beneath the meat, not living up to one's expectation. Meal was quite a disappointment.
This was our 6th visit this summer and this was the best. Many specials and every dish was perfect and the timing was excellent. Paired w yummy cocktails and wine and of course family and our evening was complete.
We had a lovely meal consisting of the filet mignon it was absolutely delicious our appetizer was the tuna and my husband doesn't normally eat tuna but he loved it I would recommend this highly to anyone. It was a beautiful evening and the river was glass and we had seating overlooking the river .it was an amazing night and dinner was fabulous !the desert of crème brûlée was so good. We can't wait to go back again
We vacationed for a 5 days in the Thousands Islands, Alex Bay specifically, dining at fine restaurants 4 of the five days, and Thousand Islands Club was the best of the 4. Great outside patio dining setting overlooking the river and marina. Service was first class, and all our meals for a party of 4 were great, albeit a bit pricey, but considering the location, not surprising, but not a value dining option. Looked at a great bar as we passed through to dinner. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the 1000 Islands.
Would benefit from a wine list with more moderate price points.
Server Benjamin was a bit strange. Also, Wham bam thank you ma'am!
Excellent place, great food, and service. Very clean and nice.
Food was excellent and so was the service. We had a great table overlooking the water. The only reason that this isn't 5 stars is that they do not allow you to bring your own wine. I find it increasingly unusual for fine restaurants not to allow you to bring your own bottle(s) for a reasonable corkage fee. For those of us who collect fine wines we really look forward to consuming them with fine food, this is a major consideration in restaurant selection. Their wine list is not bad, but limited and expensive for the higher end. Despite an excellent dinner, next time we'll go to the Clipper Inn.
Was expecting menu viewed on-line but it was not available! Very limited menu. Ordered wedge salad, they were "out" of iceberg lettuce. Overall, not what I expected.
One of the very best restaurants on the St Lawrence River in an historic building with beautiful River views. Creative menu featuring the highest quality food. Well trained staff; our waiter had a great personality, attentive without being obnoxious. Would highly recommend this venue.
Nothing to say.........................................................................
The food was spectacular, the service was very good and the setting was great. Definitely recommend and will be going back.
When ever we get the chance to go out for dinner, we always pick this spot. Every thing
is top notch. You are treated like royalty. The food is delicious along with the spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River. When you are in the 1000 Island area make this a must stop. Book with open table, it's so easy.
Outstanding in every way!
Overall our experience was outstanding. The view from the patio is beyond compare in the Thousand Islands. Our dinners and service was excellent.
This restaurant is a must if you are in the Thousand Islands for ant time. Very nice setting overlooking the Marina. One of the very best places in the entire region. Very nice fire pit and chairs for after dinner.
The food was great and so was the view. I definitely recommend this place.
Great meal as usual at TI Club. Service and food was fabulous. Not to mention the celebrity lookalikes -- Tina Fey and Melissa McCarthy -- LOL!! Great evening with friends. Thanks Julie and staff!
Great view of the 4th of July fireworks and the after dinner firefpit
If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, go directly to the Thousand Islands Club on Wellesley Island. The panoramic view of the 1000 Islands is spectacular, the service is spot-on (ask for Ross - he's the best) and the menu & food will delight any epicurean. The owners know the true definition of providing top notch service & are fastidious about their entire operation.
If you want an evening of forever - memories this should be your destination!
We were in the Thousand Islands region for our anniversary. While on a morning sightseeing cruise a casual discussion with two other couples turned into a local restaurant revue. They raved about the waterfront Thousand Island Club which was coming into view in a few minutes. They pulled out their cell phone cameras to show us photos of the dishes they had ordered the night before. ALL of the dishes looked great. The Beet Carpaccio salad starter looked and tasted like an award winner. So did the Pecan Crusted Black Grouper and the Petite Filet. We booked a table for two on Open Table, flagged it for an Anniversary, and wound up with the best table in the house overlooking the seaway and the yacht club. Simply fantastic setting with an outstanding meal and service. One our best anniversary dinners -- it was our 48th😊
My dinner came out room temperature and I am not one to send a meal back for fear what will happen to it in the kitchen so I ate some and took it home. My husband's meal was OUTSTANDING!
Incredible ambiance, food & service! Beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the River. Couldn't have been a more magical night. Five stars!!!
One of the best restaurants in the Thousand Islands. Great service, lovely view, comfortable atmosphere, great food.
We made dinner reservations via the internet. We were to celebrate my wife's birthday. Prior to making the reservations, we reviewed the menu via the internet and were looking forward to a delicious meal. After we arrived at the near empty restaurant and were seated, we were presented a "pub menu" by the waitress. We were advised that the kitchen was closing for the season the next day and their dinner menu was unavailable. We were very disappointed. We reluctantly ordered off the "bar" menu. I consider the bar food we received as barely average and the portions less than average. Our bill did not match the meal we received. It was overpriced. Overall, a very disappointing evening. It would have been nice if we had had prior knowledge of the kitchen status WHEN WE MADE THE RESERVATIONS.
The TI Club is gearing down to close for the season with a limited menu and reduced staff, but that did not at all make for a negative experience. We found many items that we would enjoy on the menu and the staff was exceptional - while freely admitting they were all juggling multiple jobs. You would never know it by the cheerful and prompt service we received. It was an above and beyond experience that we had celebrating our anniversary.
We had dinner at the TI Club twice during this past summer. The food and service is some of the very best in the 1000 Islands. This will always be our go to place when we want a great dinner or for that special occasion. The porch seating has spectacular views of marina and river. I highly recommend the TI Club .
Excellent meal. Higher prices than average but it's worth every penny.Great view, great food.
The food menu was limited. The service was good, nothing special, but nothing bad either. Basically you are paying for the view. Was better a while back.
Wonderful meal and wonderful atmosphere. Food outstanding. Views gorgeous! Service perfect!
Fantastic food and service with an outstanding view.
The Thousand Island Club offers a beautiful setting, unusual upscale menu with a creative flair.
Would highly recommend.
Despite being seated in the back, the service was impressive! We were above the pool which was empty at 8 pm. so it was quiet. Views of the marina and St Lawrence River were incredible.
Cocktails were delicious! Not rushed. Appetizer's were delicious...Creme Brulee Soup..served cold with sage..delightfully different! Fresh seafood and beef short ribs were perfect. Ended with key lime pie which was one of the best we've had. Overall, a Terrific Place and I'd love to
go there again!
