Thousand Islands Club (TI Club) Ratings and Reviews
Consistency is important. We've been several times for dinner and the entrees are creative and tasty. I especially enjoyed the sea bass; the mushroom tart. Service is outstanding. Views of the st Lawrence add to the ambiance. Will return and only wish the restaurant stayed open later in the season.
Food is so consistent here, this place leaves no room for compromise. the menu is missing some of last seasons favorites but still the only place you can find such incredible value, views, and authentic river ambience. It's difficult to want to go anywhere else to eat.
We came for Sunday brunch, we were expecting a buffet but learned they had changed to an A la carte menu for that week as a trial, so we were slightly disappointed. However the options on the menu were good (in particular the eggs Benedict!) Highly recommend the deal for bottomless mimosas, which made our wait for food very tolerable!
This was our first full meal at the TI club this year (previously ate at the bar). The food and service was outstanding. We ate on the terrace overlooking the St. Lawrence River and a marina. There is not a better view in the thousand islands for dinner. I had the coffee filet which was a large filet cooked perfectly rare as requested. My wife had the famous chicken riggies which are always good. Highly recommend anyone in the area try this restaurant.
Ample seating outside on terrace which is covered and has great views of the St. Lawrence River. Food and cocktails were wonderful, with the filet mignon, pecan crusted salmon and lobster ravioli all standing out on this particular visit. The only downside were the flies that came in as we got closer to sunset. Might help to have screens that could be rolled down to combat these. This is the only compliant that stopped me from giving TI Club 5 stars.
If I wrote this review 2 weeks ago everything would have had 5 stars. We had dinner here twice and after the first dinner I couldn't wait to go back. I ordered the sea bass and it was perfect. The wait for our food was a bit too long but once it came everyone loved their meal. So we went back a couple weeks later and what a difference. The meal came out in a timely manner this visit, except they didn''t cook it thoroughly. My fish had raw pieces and my husbands steak was medium rare. So I guess the chef had the night off? It was disappointing and not inexpensive so.......
We ate here several times last year and we thought it was excellent. This year we were disappointed with the food and service. Any time something was delivered to the table they had no idea who had ordered it. It wasn't that busy, but it seemed like the wait staff and other employees did't really know where to be and what to do. We had paid the bill ($220 for 4 people, including 1 bottle of wine, but not including tip)and the other 3 had left the table to use the restroom before we left. I was sitting there by myself when one of the staff came up to me with a dish and said "here's your ravioli." Just by the condition of the table he should have known we had already finished our meal and that he was at the wrong table. Several other times during the meal servers tried to serve us food that wasn't ours. Also when serving or removing plates, you had no idea if he would be at your left or right side. This was service not becoming the prices.
We had made our reservation well in advance requesting a table by the windows. We were not seated by the window.
The food was good at best. The salad was extremely simple for the price I had a steak that was one of the specials. It was cooked correctly but it came laying on top of the mashed potatoes. I'm not sure why they thought this was appetizing. The waiter had said it came with asparagus but when it came out it had some sort of vegetable medley with it. We had to ask for rolls. When the came the rolls were cold and somewhat stiff. The other entrees were uninspired, especially for the price and rating the restaurant had.
I hate to write a bad review, but all 4 of us were disappointed with the experience. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this restaurant to others with several other excellent restaurants in the area.
The TI Club is a great spot for a good meal and an outstanding view.
The only negative I have to say about this dining experience was with our server.
Reaching across the table to hand someone a drink is not the way it's done in a resort such as this. The staff needs some training on how to serve.
My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the Thousand Islands Club. We sat at a table overlooking the St. Lawrence River on a beautiful summer night. Our waiter (I forgot his name) was wonderful! He was attentive and friendly and made our dining experience that much better. If you want a delicious meal with an amazing view then the TI Club is the place to go!
First time back to Thousand Island Club this year with 4 "newbies" who could not get over the beautiful views and delicious food. Solid selection of wines by the glass too which is somewhat of a rarity in this area.
Brunch only on Sundays but a real feast if you can attend!
Excellent dockage for restaurant guests and easy to find by road.
We came from Gananoque, Canada and will be sure to return a few times before the summer is out! Thanks TI Club for another fine meal and a highlight of our friends' visit.

We went for Father's Day brunch. We sat outside on the pavillion and watched the boats come in. It was a Sunday buffet. Very charming. 25 per adult and 22 per child. We also had a free father's day manmosa and the bloody mary bar. Before tip-142.00 plus tip of 23.00. I would certainly go back.
Menu is a little pricey, but we went for the buy one, get one free special. Food and service was excellent; best filet I have had in a long time. I think the special deal was a great idea for a Sunday evening which attracted the full-time seasonal residents; it appeared to be well attended. We will look forward to the next special!!
A friend and I took advantage of your special 2 for 1 entree on Sunday evening. Both ordered the salmon special and it was wonderful...probably the best salmon I have ever had.
We sat inside because of the chilly, rainy evening but that was nice also. Dr Franks wine was also a favorite.
Will be back
We have been going here for many years, even before it was known as the Thousand Islands Club. Great spot with a fantastic view and outdoor eating area. We live in the region for most of the season and this is our favorite waterfront restaurant. A bit pricey, but the season is short so they need to get it.
The restaurant was starting to get busy. When I made my reservations earlier in the week I asked for "nice" table for a special occasion. They must have noticed that when we arrived. We asked if there was room on the patio and the hostess mentioned something that I didn't quite get but they brought us to a 4 top and took away 2 settings for the best seat in the house, I thought. Outstanding view, fantastic weather and the food was outstanding. There was a nice wine list, not over indulgent but with a little something for everyone. I know this review is not going to win any awards speaking of the food, but I can tell you that even though the place was hopping and the food took awhile it was worth the wait!
The TI Club is a superb venue... Right on the water in a marina and the views are fanstastic. Boats, water, islands... Terrific! The food is always, ALWAYS, good and the servers are on ball. If you have not eaten there then this is a MUST DO... If you have been there then no urging is necessary because you know how awesome it is! Now you may go in there for the dinner entrees (won't go wrong there) BUT before you order, make sure you take a peek at the Lounge menu because ther are some things on there that are killer!! Whatever your choice, it'll be a winner. My wife and I had shrimp starters, here's a special and mine was blackened shrimp off the menu. For an entire we both ordered the sole. The dishes each contained two good size lightly breaded (wasn't really breading.... more like an egg and flour) filets of sole over fettuccini. The sauce was a burre blanc w/ shaved shallots.
Had a group of 8 together after a round of golf .Parked the boat just steps away at there nice facility . Had a wonderful view of the 1000 Islands while we all enjoyed a super meal in a great atmosphere .Everyone left full and happy ...will go again and have already recommended to numerous people
