Located in the quaint town of South Laguna Beach, Ti Amo is one of the cities hidden gems. Built as a home in 1928, the building is now modeled after a villa in Tuscany. The homey atmosphere is created with a fireplace, paintings, a romantic atmosphere and an ocean view. Voted “the most romantic 14 years in a row.”

The authentic Italian cuisine is always the freshest and always house made. All of the pasta is made fresh, steaks are all prime. Entrees include pastas, seafood and steak. Save room for homemade desserts too! Parking is adjacent to the building and we have room for large parties and banquets.

We are very happy for the Barone's. They have done a fantastic job with the menu and service. My wife and I went for a belated Valentine's dinner (as mid-week is hard to do) and they did not disappoint. We're very glad to have Ti Amo back!!

The other patrons showed displeasure we had children in our group of 9 although they were well behaved and well-mannered. One of them is diabetic and my daughters administration of her shot before she eats was frowned on. Most of us received cold food which is why I can only give this place 3 stars. Also valet parking was $6, we should have parked free on the street. Would not go back to this restaurant.

First time at Ti Amo. Service was good. They did not have our requested appetizer but substitute of calamari was very good. Ordered orecchiette and osso bucco with rice. Pasta was slightly undercooked but nice flavor. Osso Bucco was dry and rice was hard and inedible. Might try again after they work out some problems.

Well, I was expecting to be wowed as I have eaten at Il Barone in Irvine many times for lunch and the food has always been excellent. Had a French waiter last time there who was exceptional. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at Ti Amo by Il Barone. With the exception of my special, the lobster ravioli, the three other guests were treated to exceptionally bland, undercooked pasta. They didn't even want to take leftovers home. The waiter was a bit curt, had to keep asking for water, the atmosphere could be described as romantic where we were sitting but it needs to be updated. Looks the same as 25 years ago. Kinda dingy and dirty looking.

Great food, service, & atmosphere. People are wonderful.....very nice family ownership. Difficult to access when coming from the south but, aside from that, it is always a pleasure
to eat at Il Barone's.

I made a special request to be sat in a booth as it was my husband and I’s first married Valentine’s Day dinner. Upon observation I quickly learned the restaurant had no booths. The hostess and a waitress looked at the available tables to seat us and the issue of a child being in the four table, more quaint, and quiet room came up. The hostess did not even ask our preference and took the waitresses opinion of seating us in the noisy, tense, and impersonal common area. I was very dissatisfied by this, not to mention there was apparently a prefixed menu which was not advertised nor divulged upon reservation. Besides those issues, the food was great. In future I would recommend the hostess always ask the consumers their opinion for seating when the hostess believes an issue with seat placement exists.

Food and ambience was acceptable...but not as good as the Irvine location. We were there on a Thursday night and the place was empty. Not sure they’re going to make it?
