The restaurant was not open when we arrived for our reservation. Since it was in a hotel, there was another restaurant that was open, but with no view. Since we wanted to see the creek they did seat us in Thyme on the Creek; we were the only guests in there, but did have a nice view of the creek. The menu seemed nice; my friend ordered the seared tuna and linguini; turned out they didn't have tuna but offered mahi mahi to replace the tuna. My friend accepted that and was satisfied with it, though it is quite a bland fish and the tuna would have been much better. I ordered the beef tenderloin filet; it was cooked on a hamburger grill. It was very tender, but I ordered it medium rare and it was medium well when it came. The vegetables were also overcooked. We had two appetizers before dinner, the pita chips and avocado, and felafel sliders. They were actually the best part of the meal. Afraid I wouldn't recommend this restaurant and definitely won't be returning.
One of the best hamburger's in town! The side salad was fairly large.
Was a great venue for breakfast for my staff appreciation event. It was quiet enough that we were able to talk and enjoy our meal/setting.
Ownership needs to invest in a new restaurant. I had not been in to Thyme in years and it seems like a throw back to the 1980's when I would go to FAC at the Harvest House. There is a lot of potential for this location, it is sad that ownership won't invest in this Boulder Landmark.
The food was excellent and they went out of their way to accommodate our large group.
Almost completely vacant on a weeknight. Good view of a pretty outdoor waterfall area. The food was better than we expected, but the price was higher to match it. The service was great, Dan (I think our server's name was) was awesome.
I'd probably go back just because of its location.
Like mentioned don't do the steak here. The mushrooms with my chicken were excellent.
They are fixing things up
This is a casual restaurant with easy quik food and low prices. We had to spend 100 to use our 50 gift certificate, so we ordered the one elegant fish dish on the menu and it was excellent. The ceasar salad was also excellent. Lots of food and good service. The downside...the restaurant was empty, the menu limited and the choices very casual. They were out of the wine we wanted. I would only go back with a much smaller gift certificate and get the salad.
ate here for Mother's Day 2014. was planning on a table outside on the patio which does seem nice, however, a late spring snow storm kept us inside.
The brunch was very mediocre, service wasn't great. Not sure I will give it another try or not.
The Millennium is sadly in need of an update. I wouldn't bring guests to this place due to the embarrassing out-of-date decor and the poor state of the grounds that could be so beautiful.
it was excellent, the food was spectacular, the prices very reasonable, and an overall wonderful experience
We selected this restaurant for mothers day brunch and it was the worst brunch we have ever been to. There was no breakfast and the rest of the buffet was very poor. A few shrimp and a prime rib that was over cooked. I would not suggest this restaurant for anyone interested In a good meal.
The setup for buffet was very poor, very congested. Service by waitstaff was very slow. Food selection was pretty limited
The food was absolutely outstanding! We both had the beef tourenados and they were meltingly tender. Very good house wine.
Expectations low due to being a hotel restaurant, but service was lacking - a student not quite knowing what to do, the meals were minimal and do not compare to Omni, Westin, Marriot, or other local high end hotel restaurants.
Delicious food attractively presented
There were few diners in the restaurant and the somewhat sparse menu already had unavailable items early on a Saturdsy night. The meal we had however was well prepared and well served. The dining room was attractive but eerily empty.
I had expected a more intimate atmosphere or something more quiet for what I assumed to be a nicer place to dine. Instead, it was noisy and informal.
A brunch, breakfast, or lunch place - not for dinner. Expensive, odd service, no one else there.....tells you something.
We will probably never return to this restaurant for several reasons. First the dinner menu was limited. Second, the food was over priced. Finally, the food was substandard in quality. My friend and I each ordered the steak, which was very fatty, sliced very thin and lacked flavor. For the price of $29, I could have enjoyed two far superior steak dinners at Outback Steak House. We were there at the dinner hour on a Sunday evening and were the only diners. I guess that should have told us something right away.
