We went to Thrive before the BonJovi concert, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location is perfect for a meal before an event at Phillips Arena (and we park in the Georgia State Bar building right across the street from Thrive, so it’s convenient with our parking also). Luckily, we made reservations because walk-ins were having to find seating in the bar area. We, however, had a nice seat near the window. We ordered the braised lamb wraps, which were delicious and very flavorful, as well as the potstickers(also very tasty), for our appetizers. My husband was happy to find they also had Pappy’s bourbon by the glass (a very hard to find bourbon). We ordered the South Beach Body sushi roll, the Vesuvius roll, and a spider roll, all of which were very fresh with well-balanced flavors. Lots of food...no room for dessert, but maybe next time!
Tip: Definitely make reservations!
Nice atmosphere. Server was friendly. F
Waitress was good at first, when added party arrived she acknowledged and then because she felt we Moved people around she decided to put all charges on 1 bill. So we split $600 . No wAy
just ok. food, service, vibe - just ok. i came in from out of town and got the sense that it was once a hot place to go, but not any longer.
It was great
Great service. Food, overpriced and over salted.
The service was very friendly and efficient. I would not recommend the sushi - the fish was fresh enough, but the rice was gooey. I may be spoiled by west Coast sushi, though.
We enjoyed our Thrive food and service more than our other restaurants during our 4 night stay in downtown Atlanta.
We tried Thrive before a show at The Tabernacle; it had been recommended but we didn't know what to expect. What a great surprise, the food (we had sushi and hummus) was amazing, and the service was great, too. We tried 3 different rolls and couldn't pick a favorite because they were all so tasty and unique. It was vibrant but not crazy packed. Give it a try.
Great place to dine! Atmosphere is very nice. Love the sandwiches and salads.
The fried green tomato appetizer was delicious. The salmon was cooked as requested, and the price was reasonable. Cheesecake dessert was ok, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
The service was spotty, but a secondary waiter went out his way to check on us once he realized we had been getting ignored. I’d go again.
Excellent food and service. Noisy but we could carry on a conversation.
restaurant was pretty good. The Couscous was very bland and watery though.
Great little spot nice service!!
Great place for a business lunch. Wish more comfort food and desserts were offered.
I dined at Thruve with a group of ten who were in town for a conference. It was a great night, starting with an easy walk from the Omni at CNN, and delicious food! I would definitely go again when visiting Atlanta!
Great experience and food and Joseph our waiter was fantastic! Love the sushi.
It was great! Our server, Adam, was great and very helpful with assisting us with entree decisions.
The menu was surprising and ingredients were paired in interesting and innovative ways. I had the beet salad and the pink sushi roll - would have ordered more of both if I had a bigger stomach!
I found the restaurant through Open Table and it lived up to the reviews. A stylish place with great atmosphere and excellent food. My salmon was delicious! Definitely recommend!
Excellent service. Great food! Loved it when we are in town we will go there again.
Waiter was very good and brought us a creme brulee birthday desert for our friend....it was one of those candles that don’t blow out easily....so funny.
When I saw the other reviews that the service was slow, I underestimated them. Unfortunately other diners were correct. It is obviously understaffed and it took 2.5 hours to get sushi for a table of four. Not ideal during a business meeting that should have been shorter and sweeter.
The only restaurant with a full menu (not burgers and beer) within walking distance of Phillips and Theatrical Outfit.
Food was great, but service was extremely slow. Took 45 mins to get our sushi. Server kept saying they got a new chef.
Food was fantastic. Unfortunately I went into the bathroom and it had toilet paper and paper towels torn up all over the flower (I let someone know and they were going to send a woman in to clean it up). I had the tuna and it was incredible.
Food wasn't to die for but was decent. The food took a bit long to make it to the table, but the server made up for it by offering free dessert. I didn't appreciate a 15.00 parking deck fee to park either.
Birthday outing turned out real intimate and fun.
Reservations is the key during the lunch hours during the work week. My co-worker and I had the braised lamb lettuce appetizer, Sushi and dessert. Fantastic food! I had the creme brulee and he had the flourless chocolate cake. Both were just the right portion to end a great lunch.
The menu gives a variety of choices. If you want finger foods they have some great Tapas choices and if you want a full meal they have awesome choices as well. The tables are a little close together but other than that this was a great place to have dinner.
We waited a while for 2 entrees and drinks. We also waited a long time for a cold desert and our server went from very attentive to pretty slow.
This place was awesome! The customer service from beginning to end was top notch and the food was really good. Thank you for making this a great Valentine’s Day! 🤗😘
Food was great! However the service was just ok and didn’t see any free valet parking had to pay $10.
I took my husband here for his birthday (Valentine's Day), so their was a set menu, but it was still delicious. We want to go back and check out the full menu.
When I return, I will asked to be seated in Joseph's section. He was GREAT.
The food was fair, but the service was very slow. They missed the dressing for the beet salad and the beets were undercooked (hard)
The food at the restaurant was very good! The sushi is always on point here. Our waitress was a little sarcastic and slow. Overall we enjoyed the experience would have been better with a better waitress.
Outstanding food and excellent waitress. Quite pleased with everything. The only negative was at one point the restaurant became crowded and the waitress was overwhelmed with customers. At that point our drink and dessert orders too a long time to obtain.
