"I recently hired Three's Catering to cater an event for my company. I was amazed at the attention to every detail as my guests were served a sushi dinner that mirrored that of a fine dining restaurant. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy my guests as Three's Catering did all the work. I highly recommend Three's Catering, and plan to hire them for all of our future events!"
We were here to celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent, the food really good, and they make a delicious ultimate dark and stormy. The lillikoi cheesecake was a great end to the meal.
Recommended by locals, definitely impressed with the food quality. Staff were attentive and made an effort to fulfill our request for an outdoor table. Very cool to have 3 diff moods/ambience in 1 location.... sports bar, upscale indoor or outdoor cozy/romantic. Outdoor area seems to have live music afternoons and evenings. We eat out often and were very pleased to find this little gem. Huge variety of surf/turf and Sushi on menu. Maybe not the best place for a Vegan. We will return!
We waited 20 mins. after our reservation time, to finally get seated!
Food choices were all good!
I had made a reservation approximately two months in advance and when we got there our table wasn't ready an didn't get seated until almost a half hour later. There was a sewer smell outside the front of the restaurant and where we were seated you could still smell it some. Our waiter was good, friendly, and attentive. The ribeye my husband had was really good as was the Hawaiian style BBQ ribs. Overall the experience was ok, but the food good. I would recommend this restaurant, but warn about the smell, and the wait.
Our brand new hostess (day 3 on the job) was fantastic and professional. You could obviously tell she had service in her blood and was caring and helpful in the perfect and sincere way. We will be back. Janice our server was fab, too!
Delicious food at a reasonable price. Go on Thursdays for salsa night - live music and so much fun to watch everyone dancing.
Happy hour was awesome and great prices
Coconut shrimp delicious
Our server Ruth was lovely
Will definitely go back again
This is a fabulous place to eat! Food was excellent as was the service! Our server, Max, was awesome! We will, definitely, visit Three’s again!! We are also impressed with the general manager, Justin! Thanks for a wonderful meal!
Excellent food. Excellent happy hour. Ruth is an excellent and sweet waitress.
Alwsys liked this restsurant and have eaten here several times. The service this time was terrible. The waitress sermed totally spaced out or non caring. We repeatedly had to go find her to ask for service.
We will be hesitant to return.
Perfectly prepared fish on a beautiful patio!
Great friendly service with three different seating areas (sports bar lounge, dining tables, and outdoor seating) to fit your needs. Ruth was very attentive and kind. Portions a bit larger than anticipated. Great dinner.
Don’t let the ‘bar & grill’ name fool you - this is no ordinary bat and grill. The food here was epic. From the chicken wings, to the ramen to the short ribs. We didn’t order anything we didn’t love. Flavors were layered into all their dishes. Loved loved loved our experience. Would definitely recommend !!!
Loved d’lime in the Coconut drink!!! Ramen bowl yummy....island salad with coconut shrimp yum!
Best happy hour in Kihei, great food and service.
The food was yummy. The service was ok. Our appetizer never came and the waitress didn’t check in on us or offer to refill drinks.
Three’s Bar is a jewel to be found! Their Happy Hour Menu is awesome. We enjoyed it!
The best food ever
Ordered a bunch of happy hour dishes, everything was really good, and the service was fantastic.
My wife and I went there for a night out on our family holiday. The food was absolutely awesome and so was the atmosphere with live music which wasn't too loud so we could still visit easily. So happy we tried this restaurant!
Came during happy hour and had some tasty appetizers..the coconut shrimp and spicy tuna roll were great. All 4 of us ordered the fresh fish special and thought it was great. Lots of food.
Burnt burger with griddle scrapings, sushi rolls so tight, barely any fish, ribs were over cooked mush, drinks were not that great either.
While the food was outstanding our first impression is NOT so good! The bartender Max was rude and disrespectful when we wanted to enjoy a happy hour cocktail prior to our reservation. While there was room to sit at the bar he abruptly dismissed our request for two ladies to move over to accommodate me. I am a Viet Nam veteran and disabled, wear a prosthetic brace on my left foot/leg and need to sit. I am very disappointed that this establishment would treat ANYONE in this manner. When we went back to the restaurant personally to complain the manager listened but did not really convey that anything would come of our treatment. She stated that Max is normally good to customers. What is odd is that NOT ONE of the THREE owners called or reached out to us. I left my card with my cell number and email so there is really no excuse for this type of treatment. We feel the owners, in their advertising and attempt to represent a new foodie experience would rather throw complaints under the bus rather than take the high road and reach out to apologize and let us know that the culprit had been reprimanded or there was any follow up at all. Disappointing to say the least.
My husband liked the sushi, but my hamburger wasn’t cooked to order. The wine selection was slim. No Merlot.
I've been going to Three's since they opened -so, sadly, the food and service used to be amazing -I can't say that the decline is due to the more crowded conditions (feels like a cattle call to get in) or the recent fame -but certainly, the staff all appear apathetic -and the food - disappointing. I got the Brussels sprouts appetizer -Looked like the end of the batch left over from two days ago - and I always get the fresh catch - it was overcooked -and then placed in a sauce that tasted like a very sweet maple syrup -why would anyone do that to fresh fish ? Anyway, I've always loved this place-and am sad- hope the "Three's" partners can remedy this -and get back to the light lively and fun atmosphere with amazing food again.
We reserved our seats on the internet because when we came there last time, many people have waited so that I left my phone number and waited for a long time but I couldn't get calling.
It was OK this time.
Oysters were the best I’ve ever tasted! Happy hour was amazing, definitely going back!
Busy with great staff! Enjoyed and would recommend. The Brussels sprouts and coconut shrimp were excellent. Good value during there happy hour!
We came back to this restaurant after discovering it on our last trip to Maui. Good variety on the menu, and everyone raved about their meals.
Ruth was an amazing server. Our drinks were perfect, the food was incredible and we can’t wait to come back again before we leave!
If you only eat at 1 restaurant in Maui, this is the one. We loved every bite. The ramen and the fried Brussels sprouts with bacon are exceptional, and even simple things like the avocado roll are notable. Great service too. This place is a gem. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
Weekends they have a good guitar player which adds to the relaxed atmosphere.
We like to go for happy hour but have been there for dinner, and for music in the bar.
Wonderful place to have an evening out.
Food was great but service not so much...We had to remind waitress about one of my orders and then I found a fly in an item and they just brought me a new one.
Great menu...wish I could have sampled more. Service was a bit slow to start, but got better as the restaurant emptied out.
Food and service were wonderful. Happy hour is worth going early!
The outdoor dining area is lovely, set under a huge tree with twinkling lights. Live music adds to the atmosphere, but it's not so loud as to prevent conversation. The Hawaiian style fresh fish was amazingly delicious.
We found this listed on the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives list for Maui. So, as usual, it was a great find! We loved the food and the location. Live music on the outside patio topped it off!
We were lucky to be able to sit outside on the deck. There weren't any real sunset views but it was quite pleasant out there and pleasingly quiet
Eclectic tasty menu. Friendly efficient service. Happy hour pupus are nearly half off. Ive been 4 times and always felt very satisfied!
Guy Fieri reviewed this pub on Diners, Driveins and Dives. I had the Beer Can Chicken as reviewed, and it was tasty. However, I would strongly recommend the fish taco and hurricane fries my wife and I had during happy hour (3 - 6). Great price for the best fish taco on Maui so far, and I have had a few. Fries were delicious as well.
