Three Seasons Ratings and Reviews
We made a reservation for my birthday last Saturday night. When we arrived there was a sign on the door indicating the the restaurant was closed from December 31 through January 15th. We were surprised that open table accepted the reservation! I also received 100 point from open table for a meal that never occurred and now I'm writing a review on the event!
We've had dinner many times at Three Season's, but there was a communication problem with open table
We drove 30 min and were looking forward to a great evening and meal! Opentable had gotten us a confirmed reservation, however the restaurant was closed when we got there (seems like they have been closed for a few weeks). Much appreciate if you guys could collaborate and communicate more with your restaurant partners so that the customer experience is positive. Thanks
Have been here many times previously over several years and quality of food has been historically very very good. We were surprised that the food this time was not very good while prices remain high. I'm guessing that either the chef and/or owner has changed since my last visit. Will not go back and won't recommend any longer.
I expected much better service, but was very disappointed. The server didn't introduce himself and it seemed as if he was forced to work that day.
The food was excellent, but the cleanliness was not up to par with the area and the price to dine there. There was a long hair on the velvet bench and my daughter had a hair (different color than hers) on her vegetarian roll. The carpet on the stairs leading to upstairs dining was also filthy.
It was my husbands birthday and he requested to eat there, but the lack of cleanliness and horrible service is enough to keep me from dining there again.
Food has been below average every time, we even ordered what the waitress recommended. She wasn't very good either never checked on us once after we ordered. Not very impressed with food and service but the ambience is really nice. Good for happy hour, appetizers not a meal, drinks before concert or something. definitely not coming back soon.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but I was very disappointed on my last last visit. The soft-shell crab rolls were bland and the mango in mango with sticky rice was so far from ripe that it should not have been served. The service was also intermittent at best, possibly because a large party was starting downstairs.
Food is outstanding, as always. On this occasion unfortunately our server seemed supremely disinterested in serving us. No drink refills were offered, no questions regarding whether we would like anything else. We had to ask someone else for the check. I hope this was a one time blip.
This place has really gone downhill and is now, officially, terrible. It used to be a go-to place for my wife and me. But somewhere along the line, they must have changed owners.
Our food was overfried in old oil. The Shaking Beef was raw in the middle.
We had the worst meal that we've had in several years, and it was quite expensive to top it all off.
We will not be going back -- what a shame.
We chose Three Seasons because we had our puppy with us and it has outdoor seating. We got the seafood crispy wontons--fine, rather bland, nothing special in them for flavor or in their sauce; the broccolini--again, fine, nothing special; the pork belly bao--tasty enough, a bit too dry; and the garlic noodles--insipid, too sweet, otherwise pretty flavorless and uninteresting. Can't recommend, unless you like bland food whose sole interest comes from some form of being unhealthy (e.g. deep fried).
The food was high quality with good variety. Our kids, 12 and 15 enjoyed the duck and pork belly baos and the grown ups liked the shaking beef and catfish pot. The garlic noodles were a big hit! The Band was excellent. We dined in the patio, enoying the early fall breeze in a fine evening.
The food was great. Unfortunately the service was not the best. Our food was delivered so quickly. We had wished it would come out in stages. Our server checked on us immediately after most food arrived and then we couldn't find her again. We would have liked another beverage but we had completed our good and had to go. Disappointing as the restaurant was not that busy.
We like 3 Season's food a lot, but today they were not firing on all cyclinders. They did not have the Fried Snapper entree -- came back 10 minutes after I ordered to tell me my choice was not available. The last things we ordered came first; a vegetable curry came last? Duck Bao remains our family favorite.
They honored our reservations, and sat us at a beautiful wood table. Cocktails fantastic,
food great for sharing. Lamb chops were amazing, and Calamari appetizer delicious. Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. Sometimes they have outdoor music. A great place for friends to meet with a festive vibe.
Visited on a hot summer evening with 2 young kids in tow (7 and 4). Dined on patio and got attentive service from our server, Elana. Food came out fast: the pork belly bao was soft and tasty, shaking beef was also tender and well-seasoned. Kids liked the bao, garlic noodles and Tamarind chicken wings.
We usually love this place. My son always want to go here for the Shrimp and Garlic Noodles! I usually love the Lemongrass Salmon and Shaking Beef.
Went this past Friday, and everything was disappointing. I wonder if they had a different chef as well as the less than timely service?
Salmon was overcooked and dry. The shrimp was overcooked and chewy (my son still loved and ate all the garlic noodles!) and the shaking beef, while good, was cold when it arrived at our table.
Hopefully this was a one off and next time they will be back to the usual really high level of food and service. I will return, and if it's good, I'll remember to write a review because I honestly usually love this place!!
The food is what keeps me coming here and we tolerate the crap service, which at least is consistently just off. Seems they hire very inexperienced servers, but keep the very experienced cooks! Know this going in and enjoy the green beans, the spring rolls, the pork buns, and the amazing food coming out of the kitchen.
Everything is good except for the lady who seems to be the supervisor as of May 21. She really looked down on us as we wear casual clothing and when we asked to sit upstairs (sorry for not knowing you guys are short of staff on that day), she firmly told me that:"we don't have many servers today so you sit out there in the patio ok". I said " ok, could we please sit inside as it is windy today". She said "ok pick a table". She was off from the beginning and afterwards when we leave don't even look at us as we pass by and say goodbye to her. Oh wow. Zero-star service for something striving to be a 5 star.
We haven't dined several years ago after they first opened and found the upstairs atmosphere perfect for a leisurely dinner, above the noise of the bar area. We ordered mostly vegetarian (garlic noodles, tofu, grapefruit salad, veggie spring rolls) and loved all the dishes' flavors and presentations. A nice touch was the small creamy soup servings that accompanied the spring rolls. Service was good although our server seemed a bit rushed when taking our order and the bar slow in responding to our drink order of ginger beers. All in all, a pleasant dinner and we probably won't wait so long to return next time.
Simply amazing! The chef gave us a personal experience and the wait staff was incredibly helpful. All this amidst a separate large private party upstairs. They even deboned our snapper at the table since we had some older persons with us. In addition to all this, the food was beyond amazing. WOW! Every time I come here it is a memorable experience.
Have diners at this resturant for mom's night out. everyone was happy with the food and the atmosphere of the resturant. shacking beef and redsnapper were very tasty, so as the califlower soup. we had a great time there. I will come back for other gatherings.
Interesting menu. Good food. Good service. We are a group of 6 women who meet for dinner regularly. At some restaurants we feel we have poor service because we are an all-women group. Three Seasons had great service all the way around.
