I have visited this restaurant on two occasions and both times the food has been excellent! The menu has a nice variety and provides the opportunity to experience new taste experiences. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and answered all our questions. The host was friendly and called us a cab at the end of the evening.
A wonderful experience!
Hands down the best restaurant in Banff and I have been to all the other fine dining places in town.
Request a table at the window or only one of you will have an amazing view as the other person will have their back to it. I wish we had known that! Bison tenderloin was exquisite! We loved the cracked chocolate bark that came with the bill.
Loved it
The type of meal and experience where you don’t care about the bill
Great place off the beaten track of Banff Ave.
Phenomenal views. Amazing attentive service but not annoying. Fantastic food including great GF offerings on the menu. Perfect for large groups or small intimate gatherings.
wow, top notch. Fantastic venue with spectacular view. Imaginative and tasty meals.
Amazing in every way, as always!!! We are looking forward to returning soon <3
Great food with fantastic views. Excellent service.
This is a very pretentious restaurant that looks like a cheap diner with carpets on the floor. It has the views, but the interior does not come close to fine dining. It's not even properly isolated from the buffet area. We had the mushroom soup and we were happy we did not order more. It was mediocre for an $18 soup.
It was one of the best meals I have ever had. The food was fantastic. Service was efficient and friendly. Will absolutely go again.
The view of the mountains were amazing and the service was great.
Overall the restaurant is good. Great view of Bow Valley so dining over dinner is great for the sunset. The food was a little froufrou for me, but tasted good. Our server, Yvonne, was AMAZING. The restaurant itself has a weird location where you walk in and the first thing you see is a cafeteria looking area with a buffet. The Three Ravens is to the right of this and though there are short walls to separate it from the other open restaurant, we could smell the buffet food from it which was not very pleasant.
Knowledgeable & friendly staff. Ample entree portions, nice presentation, varied wine selection. Nice view of campus & valley
Great food. Michelin level cuisine. Knowledgeable service to explain complex plates. Sterile setting.
Exceeded expectations
The spectacular setting is matched by outstanding food. Great service from staff who seem happy to be there and make good recommendations. The mushroom soup and Bison were perfect, leaving no room for desert unfortunately. This is a staple restaurant for us anytime we are in Banff. Rivals with the best of Toronto and Vancouver.
Delicious food with very generous portions and beautiful vista of Banff. Only odd thing was that the server has to rotate out and another server took his place. Both did an excellent job, but the continuity of service was interrupted. There could be something I’m not aware of in Canadian working regulations, but nonetheless it was odd. I would still highly recommend and done there again next time I’m in Banff.
We have dined at Three Ravens a number of times. The food is consistently excellent. The service has always been great, with very friendly servers. The views of the Bow Valley are spectacular, no matter what time of year.
Amazing food . Had the most wonderful evening there , and the service was really really good.
Excellent service, delicious food and breathtaking view.
Excellent food, beautiful view
Very disappointing execution. Both of our meals were over/under cooked. At the price point, and location we were expecting lots more.
As usual this was a delightful place for dinner before the show. The staff are very conscious that there are time restraints and made sure we were out in time for our short walk to the theatre.
The best kept secret in Banff not to mention best value for Michelin star quality cuisine.
Outstanding meal!!! Service was the best we've experienced in a long time! Best food I've tasted in a long time! Thank you!!!
Great Experience! Definitely would recommend to everyone :)
excellent. exceeded expectations in every way. The service and ambiance is exquisite, formal but not too formal dining setting, gorgeous view of sulfur mountain and Banff. Softly played classy swing music and blues over the course of the meal. servers were attentive and non-intrusive. food quality was 10/10. everything tasted fantastic and fresh. I had a very difficult time choosing from a relatively small menu, which says something. Will definitely be returning soon. Pricey, but worth it. could have had a larger cocktail menu, but made up for it with the wine list and pairings available on the menu.
Wonderful meal enjoying spectacular view! The mushroom soup was flavorful and amazing to enjoy .
We heard that the food and view were out of this world, but we found neither. The food was good, but not great, and the "view" was nothing but office/school buildings. The food and drinks were expensive, but we knew to expect that. The restaurant is fairly modern, and was significantly overly lit which did nothing for the ambiance. Definitely not the romantic spot we were hoping for, which was very disappointing. One positive note was the outstanding service. I'm glad we tried it out, but we will not be back!
The food was delicious, the wine pairing wasn't great as in some cases the wine pairing was set to pair with a selection of 3 food types, so it wasn't a good match, except for the main course. Also the atmosphere wasn't great as you're in a section of a large hall, used for as a buffet. The views are spectacular of course. Overall a good experience.
Very difficult to find the restaurant. It is not at the address indicated - should say it is in the Sally Borden building. It was much more casual than anticipated and the prices were very high. Mushroom soup was good.
We were so impressed by both the stunning view and unique food and its creative presentations! Our amazing server Lindsay made our anniversary dinner more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend to our foodie friends!
The food was amazing n would highly recommend this place to have a fantastic meal
An evening with friends before watching a beautiful contemporary ballet. Maitre D was very helpful in adding two to our table on a busy night. Food was fantastic and service / ambiance first class. Highly recommended.
Three Ravens offers fantastic food in a very unique setting! My husband and I rolled into town after a long delayed flight and the staff were very helpful to allow us to push our reservation back by an hour so that we could still experience this little gem. The food and service were fantastic and we will definitely recommend/return!
Dined here for a birthday dinner on Sunday, January 28th and had a great time! Greeted at the door and seated promptly, got our pick of the tables. Lindsey was our server and she was superb! She guided us through the menu while still catering to our needs/preferences. I had the beef, boyfriend had the sablefish, both excellent in taste, presentation, and overall quality. For dessert, she included a bright sparkler candle for my birthday and made it so so special. She really made the whole experience!
We have dined at the Three Ravens on a number of occasions, and have found them to be consistently delightful experiences. We were warmly greeted, the meal appealed to the eyes, nose and tongue, and our waitress knew the right balance of engagement without intrusion.
Amazing. Mmmmmmm
One of the best meals we’ve ever had. We would recommend this place anytime.
Outstanding view, friendly & attentive service, generous portions for this type of cuisine, tasty and creative. Enjoyed the extras such as rolls with different types of butter, vouches, and three types of chocolate presented with the bill.
