About Three Kings Public House - The Loop
The gastronomic wizards at Three Kings have devised a menu of flavorful fare from locally sourced ingredients, served alongside 21 draft beers. Tucked in leather half-moon booths, diners nosh on culinary overtures such as the queso-enfolded chorizo nachos & captain crunch shrimp. Balsamic onion relish lounges alongside double-cut smoked bacon and blue cheese in the half-pound Three Kings burger. The impressive draft list satisfies hops-hungry bellies with dark delights such as Guinness as well as microbrews from around the country. Dishes and drinks tickle taste buds as diners lounge on the sidewalk patio, private courtyard or in the restaurant's cozy exposed-brick interior.

Three Kings Public House - The Loop Ratings and Reviews
Love that they take reservations! Makes it so easy to go here. It was bysy but everything was perfect. The hostess' greeting was sincere, and our server very attentive to our needs. The food was good. One negative, they were out of the Voodoo Ranger Beer and the suggested substitute didn't satisfy.
One of the worst meals I've ever had in STL... calamari was tasty but more than half of it needed a few more minutes cook time. Tarter sauce was too sweet and odd tasting. Unfortunately that same sauce came with my fish&chips. Nothing tasted fresh, and worse tasted reheated and freezer burned. Gyros were a joke. Just so disappointed I'd never come back here for lunch or dinner. The place looks like a great place for a drink though. Why are they on OpenTable...?
We found the staff friendly and helpful. We were quickly seated in a good place and waiter answered all our questions. Food service time was reasonable; waiter helped with one item of mis-order in a friendly manner. The cheesescake dessert was really good. The bill was appropriate to menu choices. Good experience and we'll go back.
This was my first visit and all went well. Waitress knew the beer list and guided us well. No one made us feel rushed so we were able to relax and talk which was our purpose. Food was all good and there was enough variety I felt anyone I brought would find something enjoyable AND for his/her unique dietary requirements.
We made reservations for a Friday night. Even though we were really late for our reservations, they had a table for us. It was packed and very, very noisy. We were seated in the bar area, and I understand it was quieter towards the back. Because of a mixup, our waitress did not greet us for at least 5 minutes. But she made up for it by getting our drinks to us fast. All four of us got something different, and we all liked our food. We got our food in a reasonable amount of time too. Overall, it was good, and we would go back again, but maybe not on a Friday night at 6pm! Or, we would ask for a quieter table. It was our first time at this location, but I had been to the one in Des Peres one other time.
The spicy chicken toasted raviolis alone are enough of a reason to eat here. The specials change often and are always surprising. It may say tavern in the name but the food here is not just typical bar food. I've introduced several friends and coworkers to Three Kings and every one of them has loved it.
The Delmar Loop has a bunch of fun places and 3 Kings is definitely one. Good pub atmosphere and the food is quite good. You can't really go wrong - you can even make a meal out of mixing and matching the starters, soups, and salads. It's not a culinary destination, but the vibe is upbeat and the food is plenty good.
They feature a lot of Bells beers and have some standbys on draft, other options in bottles, a few basic red and white wines and a full bar if none of those fit your tastes. The flatbread app was delicious and very filling. I could have skipped the entrée but had a porkchop anyway, which was tender and delicious.
I HAD MADE RESERVATIONS FOR 2 AND WHEN WE ARRIVED THE ONLY TABLE FOR 2 WAS RIGHT IN THE AISLE. YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE RESERVATIONS WOULD BE SEATED IN A MORE COMFORTABLE TABLE/BOOTH.
THE FOOD WAS JUST OK. MY DATE HAD THE GYRO SLIDERS AND ENJOYED THEM. I HAD THE BUFFALO CHICKEN SANDWICH, I HAVE HAD BETTER AT A LOWER COST ELSEWHERE. THE FRIES WERE REALLY GOOD. I ASKED FOR THEM WELL DONE AND THEY WERE JUST RIGHT WITH A LITTLE CRUNCH.
I FELT THE RESTURANT WAS TOO LOUD ESPECIALLY SINCE WE WERE ON THE ASILE.
We had made reservations the day before for a party of 7 ladies for 6:30pm dinner on New Year's eve and were seated right away by the hostess in the very back room, which was fine. There was another group of about 7 or 8 already seated. The hostess informed us that the room was reserved for a party at 8pm, so that we were aware that we would need to be done with our dinner and out of room prior to 8pm. Fine again since it was NYE! Dan was our waiter and was very friendly and knowledgeable! Food was delivered in reasonable time and we were done with our dinner by 7:45pm. Everyone ordered something different and all were very happy with what they had! It would have been nice to linger a little and chat but the crew was in a hurry to get our table cleaned. Overall, I would definitely go back again!
Love coming here for a casual supper with an excellent draft beer list. Food is always good, solid bar food, with a little sophistication to go along with it. Servers are always friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. Also a great venue to watch the game with all the TVs present. Highly recommend.
I'm a big fan of Three Kings, so it was the first place I thought of when we needed a location to gather for our fantasy football draft. Fortunately Three Kings has WiFi and a great selection of draught taps to make sure the night went smoothly. Other than a 10-minute internet drop and the fact that our tables were made for dining and not laptop-using-while-dining, there's nothing for me to complain about. If I stick with this fantasy football thing, I'll likely put Three Kings as a top choice for next years' draft. And if you're a burger fan, be sure to get The Pogue Mahone.
