Three Kings Public House - The Loop
Come in, enjoy our amazing atmosphere and see why Three Kings is a local favorite.
I arrived at noon and had reserved a table for two. The restaurant was pretty empty and yet the only options of tables that we were shown or offered we're very small two top tables. Where I walked out and there was two people at booths and at bigger tables.
The food was pretty typical of a bar/pub setting, but the service was great! Everyone was very nice.
Great ambience. Service was great as well. LOVED, loved the Gyro salad.
Great meal & service as always!
The food the service the setting was all wonderful. We're having our wedding party there.
First visit to Three Kings. Great attention from our server. Nice atmosphere with just right amount of lighting and casual environment. Food was perfectly prepared and tasty. Will go back and spend more time and try some more entrees and some drinks. Reservations were easy and we were promptly seated. Recommend.
This was our second time eating at the Three Kings. It was just as fantastic as the first time we ate there. Hector our waiter was outstanding, he worked with my wife on her vegan needs. The beer line up is one of the best around. Short walk from Moonrise hotel and the pageant concert hall. Any time we are in the loop we will go back.
Food is excellent. We were disappointed that they were out of Lobster Bisque. It made selecting alternative options difficult. Hopefully when we visit again, they will have made enough.
I always like bringing guests to Three Kings. Good is every interesting and always good. Beer detection is great and rotates so it's not the same thing every visit.
We chose this for a quick get-together with family members while on a cross-country road trip. We found the casual, pleasant out-door seating we hoped for. We were traveling with our dog, and he was made welcome on the patio with our table for six.
We needed a range of food options to accommodate our group, and the diverse menu met everyone's needs and tastes. Everything we had was quite good, and portions were large.
We would come here again.
A great Korean burger and very good kale salad. I brought two people and they both enjoyed different burgers, the Three Kings and the chipotle Southwest burger. Burgers were perfectly cooked: pink but not running red. I also liked the sweet potato fries.
Service was very good, food was good. Good menu with a lot of options as well as
specials of the day.
It was great. Fun fill atmosphere and good food.
Fresh and delicious Tuna Sliders. Steak was fresh, well seasoned, and just amazing. I love the service.
Very good service, food was very tasty, no complaints. Server cheerfully gave us (party of six) individual bills. Service was prompt and friendly, did not have to wait long for entrees, but were not rushed. The ambience is okay, but a bit loud. Easy parking, with public parking garage almost next door, but bring coinage.
It was our first visit. I made the reservation online and requested a booth. They had a booth waiting for us, which was nice. Lulu was our waitress. She served us well. We had beef sliders, fries, brocolli, fried pickles and calamari ..We will return in the future.
Food was good, service was very good. It was super noisy almost to where you could not hear your own table conversation.
I love, and would highly recommend, Three Kings Public House - The Loop! This is a great spot to go before a concert at The Pageant (or just for lunch or dinner). The food and beer menus are both great! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with what could otherwise be an overwhelming beer list. The service here has always been awesome! The food has always been delicious too - spicy chicken toasted ravioli are a must. The wrap of the moment is usually a great option too (never been disappointed). Draft beer is half off during happy hour...you have to love that!
This was probably the worst experience I’ve had thus far. I’ve been here a couple of times, but this time I went with a group of friends vs just a one on one date. I know splitting checks is annoying but servers should be used to it by now. Our appetizer was good but it was fool proof as it was just imported from “The Hill”. I ordered my entry & specifically asked for it one way & it came out completely wrong...so I felt bad telling the server but the food isn’t cheap. He seemed a little “out of it”...I don’t know if servers are allowed to drink at work but he seemed like he had. He took my food away before I was done with it without asking & my food tasted horrible. Overall, I probably won’t be going back.
Very nice place great service
Three Kings is one of the best restaurants in all of St. Louis. Their food is flavorful, innovative, affordable, and there are healthy options, which I like. The have daily specials to keep the menu exciting. Their wings are hands-down some of the best I've ever had.
We had a mixed experience. I did not enjoy the meal. I could not eat the portobello mushroom wrap, perhaps I chose the wrong thing. But the chicken sandwich was bland and the gyro sliders were tiny. The buffalo chicken wrap and chicken strips received positive comments. The side salad had potential, but too much dressing.
Met a friend for an easy dinner the night before I was scheduled to fly out.
The bangers & mash was quite good, as was my friend's fish & chips.l]
Love that they take reservations! Makes it so easy to go here. It was bysy but everything was perfect. The hostess' greeting was sincere, and our server very attentive to our needs. The food was good. One negative, they were out of the Voodoo Ranger Beer and the suggested substitute didn't satisfy.
Great food, beer selection and service. Perfect spot before a show at The Pageant.
Donna was great.
Food was wonderful and lots of variety.
Fun area with lots going on.
My guest and I had a great lunch at Three Kings. I would as well as my group would return.
Fantastic pub food in an awesome part of the city - the Loop!
Nice experience, our server Ronnie was outstanding, knowledgeable, efficient. Good variety on the menu.
One of the worst meals I've ever had in STL... calamari was tasty but more than half of it needed a few more minutes cook time. Tarter sauce was too sweet and odd tasting. Unfortunately that same sauce came with my fish&chips. Nothing tasted fresh, and worse tasted reheated and freezer burned. Gyros were a joke. Just so disappointed I'd never come back here for lunch or dinner. The place looks like a great place for a drink though. Why are they on OpenTable...?
This was my first visit, I was very impressed. The Cap'n Crunch shrimp and the burger was outstanding.
We found the staff friendly and helpful. We were quickly seated in a good place and waiter answered all our questions. Food service time was reasonable; waiter helped with one item of mis-order in a friendly manner. The cheesescake dessert was really good. The bill was appropriate to menu choices. Good experience and we'll go back.
Great place first time visiting. Me and my 3 daughters so enjoyed 😊
Our service was outstanding -- the waiter really knew the menu and the beer offerings. The sound level was pretty high, but it didn't interfere with close conversation.
A fun and relaxing dinner.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. It was just very loud for not being crowded. We had trouble hearing as there was so much background noise.
Three King in The Loop is our go-to choice for meal before catching a concert at The Pageant. The atmosphere, food, and service is outstanding each time we have gone to Three Kings. Highly recommended!
This was my first visit and all went well. Waitress knew the beer list and guided us well. No one made us feel rushed so we were able to relax and talk which was our purpose. Food was all good and there was enough variety I felt anyone I brought would find something enjoyable AND for his/her unique dietary requirements.
We made reservations for a Friday night. Even though we were really late for our reservations, they had a table for us. It was packed and very, very noisy. We were seated in the bar area, and I understand it was quieter towards the back. Because of a mixup, our waitress did not greet us for at least 5 minutes. But she made up for it by getting our drinks to us fast. All four of us got something different, and we all liked our food. We got our food in a reasonable amount of time too. Overall, it was good, and we would go back again, but maybe not on a Friday night at 6pm! Or, we would ask for a quieter table. It was our first time at this location, but I had been to the one in Des Peres one other time.
Everything thing is delicious, never had anything bad. BUT if there is one thing a must have it's the sweet potato fries.
