Three Kings Public House - Des Peres
Come in, enjoy our amazing atmosphere and see why Three Kings is a local favorite.
Food is typically very good. Especially like your fish, and chicken or seafood gumbo or jambalaya.
The service this visit was less than mediocre, which is surprising because typically it is always good. It wasn't crowded as it was only 4:30.
The service was awesome. The food was good. The people were very nice
The food was delicious and the service was perfect.
Excellent service, good food. My first time there. Looking forward to going back.
The Korean burger was cold and dry, even though I ordered medium rare. The small amount of kinche was like wilted mush, the burger came with no lettuce, tom or onion as the menu states. I received a tiny bowl of cold fries and the waitress pointed out that they she was aware they were unsatisfactory and said she would bring more out in a minute. She never did. I am now embarrassed that I recommended your restraint to mu dear friend. Unfortunately, he ordered the same thing as I did and was equally dissatisfied. With the image you promote and the prices you charge, I definitely expect more from you. All together a very unhappy dining experience.
Overall a great dining experience. Food is always good and it’s a fun atmosphere. The only drawback this last time there was that
our server wasn’t too attentive and was a bit lackluster in his interaction. Previous experiences have been better. I’ll definitely be back!
Great sandwiches. The fish and chips are delicious and the steamed broccoli is very good.
They seated us promptly. We had cocktails and dinner. The food will be something I will want again! We had a nice time.
Good food and service.
Great food, everyone enjoyed their meal. Cool light fixtures too. Only thing I would change is that the 6 of us felt pretty squished in our booth and there was nothing special done for the birthday boy.
Good place for a drink on a busy night, food is just fair. Cheeseburger was well done not pink in the middle as ordered. Service was excellent. Will probably try again
We waited for 10 minutes and no one came to the table. No water, no nothing. Then a waiter approached a table that had been seated after us and with no reservations. We left.
The stir fry with cauliflower risotto was delicious!!! Alcohol was a tad pricey.
The Hill salad was just ok. The Fish & Chips were really good. I'm glad their on Untapped now. We will be back.
No reason to really place a reservation because it really doesn’t mean everything. Had a 6:30 reservation and didn’t sit down until 7:20. Why bother
Excellent service. We had their Valentines Day specials and they were very good.
Food was very good and servers were very attentive. An excellent value.
The service and food were fine. The noise level of the music will prevent me from returning to this location. I left with a headache. I strained the entire time to have a conversation with my friends.
Good menu, something for everyone. Toasted rav appetizer was great. Food was very good. Service was good. Great beer list.
We frequent Three Kings for lunch mainly. Seating is limited and we are all about the food and no so much about the cocktails. Evening gets very crowded on the weekends.
Love this place -noise levels are high-so if you don’t care for speaking loud to hear one another I would suggest sitting in bar area instead of the dining room. Food and service is great. Any burger you can sub(for no up charge) a chicken breast or turkey burger.
LOUD! Don’t go for conversation at 6 pm or later.
The service and setting was excellent and inviting. I would return and recommend this location to anyone.
Kicked off New Year's Eve with food and drinks at Three Kings. Devoured a plate of yummy fried pickles with bilinis. (It was NYE...had to have bubbles!). Husband had cajun pasta....perfect on tang and heat. I had the salmon BLT with lemon aioli as great accompaniment. The cauliflower risotto was delicious too. Our server, Katie, was attentive and friendly. Always great food and a good time at Three Kings.
We met friends here for a holiday dinner. None of us had been there before, and we all really enjoyed it! The food was great, the waitstaff was very attentive, and the ambiance was very comfortable. Tables weren't all squished together like in some restaurants. This made it very easy to walk back and forth from the restroom without bothering other patrons, even ones with baby carriers. That was a very nice bonus to a very nice evening! We will be back.
The food and service was great. However, after making reservations through Open Table prior to our arrival, we were notified by the hostess that they were having issues receiving gun the reservations through Open Table, and our reservation was not valid. So, we had to wait 45 mins for a table. We won’t be using Open Table to reserve a table at this restaurant again.
I’m sure there’s more I could recommend for this place, but I stuck with what we used this visit for. It was our first time trying out this restaurant and it was definitely worth the drive.
Basic bar food. Most of the items were deep fried and very salty. We had a table for 12 and the service was good, but it took forever to get drinks.
Our server, Taylor, was awesome! She was extremely friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to serve us. We could not have been happier!
This neighborhood place is fun and a step above bar food. It is somewhat noisy for conversation. The food was good. Server was very friendly, a little too busy for great service, but adequate.
Told the server we needed to be in and out in 40 minutes. asked what would be fast. Ordered that - we got our food 30 minutes later and hand just under 10 minutes to eat and get out. won't go there if in a hurry.
An interesting upscale-ish bar with some good food. Servers not always paying attention to all parties, as they seem to get busy. Had to flag server down on three separate occasions when they have been back for over 15 minutes. Otherwise, a nice place to go. Checking in drinks, even if it's only water, should be a tier one server skill.
The spicy Korean burger with kimchi is terrific! The kale salad is also very tasty.
Food great... service not so much this time....talked to management and they were very responsive.... will be back
Outdoor dining options include a covered patio and an open patio. Service was excellent and the server was responsive to a problem with doneness of an entree.
Our server was great! He knew just when to come back to the table for drink refills. Additionally, a friend and her daughter showed up to surprise us and despite the patio being full with no available chairs, our server located chairs for them from inside and was quite accommodating! He was super friendly and went out of his way to help us even though we could see he was really busy. The patio is nice and the food (apps) was good, but I would return based upon the great service we received!
Love that you can now make reservations. Like the 6 person booths
