With a secret alleyway entrance, Three Dots and a Dash is a speakeasy-style take on the traditional island bar—ready to transport you to the glamorous bygone eras of Trader Vic, Stephen Crane and Don the Beachcomber. Descend underground to discover a subterranean hideaway featuring a rum-soaked menu of more than two dozen classic, modern and original tropical cocktails and a selection of island fare. We are a 21+ venue.

The secret hideaway – named one of The World’s 50 Best Bars by Drinks International – is led by cocktail expert Kevin Beary. Our team has researched tirelessly to source and create the best possible cocktails using the freshest exotic fruits and spices, the finest rums and distilled spirits, and juices and elixirs that are cold-pressed and concocted in house every day. Named one of Esquire's "Best Bars in America," The Bamboo Room offers a tailored experience through the world of rum in an intimate environment. Enjoy high end renditions of tropical cocktails featuring rare spirits carefully crafted by attentive expert bartenders. A $15.00 Deposit is required to make this reservation. Deposit is nonrefundable & will be applied towards final bill. We are a 21+ venue.

LA’s Thunderbolt takes over, as Mike Capoferri showcases bold, inventive flavors in a four course tasting menu that blends classic technique with modern creativity. Coming in at number 9 & then number 10 on the North America's 50 Best list 22' & 23' - guests can anticipate to experience the incredible hospitality & technique driven cocktails that the Echo Park cocktail bar has to offer. Seatings are available from 4pm-10pm for $80 per person. Reservation time limited to 1.5 hours.

We went on a Sunday and are pretty sure the cocktails were prebatched and didn’t sit right on the palate unlike my other experiences here. The bartenders were sitting around despite the place being mostly full which detracted from the experience and made the slow service more apparent. The presentation was still amazing but the drinks were mainly ice. This was my 4th time here and one of my favorite places in Chicago but if it was my first experience I would not need to go back.

One of our favorite stops when visiting Chicago! Love the feel of a Tiki Speakeasy. Drinks are always top tier, and their food is surprisingly tasty!

Our service was pretty bad. Definitely won’t be back. She never came back to the table for 45 minutes and we wanted to order food. We eventually did, once we did she never came back to check on us. At one point an employee walked by us and knocked my water onto the table and my lap. Barely apologized and brought me a stack of napkins to clean the table myself (??) awkward and weird situation. I did not spill the water myself so cleaning up the table myself is not something I should have had to do. 0/10 experience

I took my fiancé to go to the Pacific Cocktail Haven pop up at the Bamboo Room and we had a great time! Everyone at Three Dots and a Dash is great and they have amazing cocktails. You should definitely come visit if you love rum cocktails.

Great experience and fun imaginative drinks. Had never been to a Tiki Bar and our son wanted us to go. Drinks were enjoyed by all. The glasses were really cool. Fun place for a group We did not order food so cannot comment on that, even though I had to give it a rating.
