Wonder, why open table allows 3 aces to use their bookings system. They do not credit the reservations.

My husband and I went to Three Aces for dinner. We shared the meatball appetizer, three aces burger, and pepperoni pizza. Everything was delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries have a great seasoning on them. The pizza was delicious as well. We would definitely go back, especially in the summer because they have a nice patio area.

My husband and I drive all the way from McHenry to have their burgers. I honestly think they are one of the best burgers in the city. They also have a great list of cocktails and other menu items. There isn't anything I have not liked about this place thus far and have been there a handful of times.

By the looks of the place, you would never guess how good the food is! First, there's a nice beer/beverage list, and a few tasty bar snacks to choose from. Unbeknownst to us, 3:30pm on a Sunday is still brunch time, so my husband had steak & eggs, which he thought was outstanding. I ordered a margarita pizza. The crust was nice and crisp, and the sauce/cheese was super fresh. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stopped here because we had previously attended the Taylor Street festival this summer and Three Aces had a booth where we tried their Bolognese Fries for the first time -- SCRUMPTIOUS is the word! Thus we went back this past Saturday before the comedy show at the United Center to eat. We ordered, of course, the Bolognese Fries and their Risotto appetizer. The Bolognese fries were just as scrumptious as in the summer -- unfortunately the Risotto appetizer was so bland, no real taste, just like eating sticky white rice with a fried shell. Too bad, because the description made it sound just as wonderful and tasty -- not at all. I landed up eating three bites (actually two, but I took one last bite to validate), my husband had two bites and we both had the same opinion - Blah! We did not eat the rest of it, didn't make a big deal at all to our server due to time constraints. I'd go back but will never order that again. Service was good, drinks were decent.

We thought that it was a restaurant, but were seated in a bar. The food was very good, I had the smoked pork chop, but really bad service. No description of the menu from the server and very little attention if any. Honestly, probably won't go back. Reasonable prices though.

Their menu is very limited but the food was tasty. The drinks were a bit strong for my liking but they do have a full bar.

The outdoor seating area is probably the best feature of this spot. They have the tall fire torches placed through the patio area, which was nice for a chilly night. We stopped here before heading to a Blackhawks game.

The menu is simple and the burgers seemed to be the preferred choice for everyone in my party, except for me. I tried the thin crust pizza and was underwhelmed by it.

Our server was great because she helped expedite our order, knowing that we were limited for time before the game. Her personality/style was sort of matter-of-fact, but honest. I actually liked that.

I have been here several times in the past before Blackhawks games and concerts. It always has worked well. The fries and burgers are a great start before heading over to the UC. I made the waitress aware of our plans and we were out the door in plenty of time.

It's been a while since I've been back to Three Aces and I can't say I will be running back anytime soon.

The outdoor patio has definitely seen an upgrade but the food has gone down. I feel like they've cut their menu a bit and what they offer now is just ok.

We ordered the baked olives, 3 pizzas, a burger, a salad and a pasta and while all were ok, nothing about the food was a standout. Everything was just sort of meh and left me wondering if they changed owners or chefs since the last time I visited.

The one highlight is the remodeling done to the patio is nice. We could have sat out there all night long bec it was a beautiful night and we had some nice cocktails.. What a shame the food didn't match the ambiance..

Walked over from the United Center to try Three Aces for the first time. Reservation was a good idea as the place was full. Wait staff was attentive. Beer list was a nice surprise. The Aces burger was fantastic. One of the best we have had in a Chicago. Bolognese fries were very good. Can't wait to go back for another burger!

They have a load of drink specials, lots of beers and fabulous pizzas. Super thin and crispy with wonderful and sometimes unusual, but great combos. The popcorn is also really neat with parmesan and green onions with hot sauce on the side. I liked it best without the sauce. There are also salads and pastas. Monday nights offer a shot of Old Crow, a beer selected by the bartender and a pizza for $13. The outside seating is fabulous and the music was very good, not loud, but it was Monday evening early.

We were sat immediately upon arrival outside.on the patio which was very nice. Our waitress took our drink order and brought our drinks within 10 minutes. Then she disappeared. We finished our drinks and left. As we were leaving, we saw our waitress inside chatting with the bartender. Disappointed, I'd been wanting to try the burger here for a long time.

We have been going to Three Aces for a few years now. We have always loved the great food options and the seasonal changing menu. They always have very creative dishes. I was a bit disappointed in the menu on this visit. It did not have the usual amount of creative choices. We still enjoyed what we had, but would love to see them return to the larger menu

I came to Three Aces for the first time about a year ago and haven't stopped coming back since. Their food never disappoints and service is always spectacular. Their menu changes consistently depending on what ingredients are available... the dishes that are always available (from my experience) are the pizzettas (super thin crust pizza) and the burger. Both of these are amazing. The last time I went we got the bolognese fries to share which came with a tasty meat sauce and great quality fries - definitely no skimping here! My favorites in the past have included their risottos and the arancini (rice ball) appetizer. The drink menu is also pretty extensive, good drafts like Three Floyds and Allagash. Their cocktail list is solid and the one shot they offer is worth trying. Go for the food and enjoy the ambience - a candlelit bar that's not at all stuffy, very comfortable. Perfect for a laid back date night or to shoot some pool with friends.

My husband and I popped in for dinner before going to a movie on a Saturday night. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the drinks. This restaurant has a completely different vibe than most of the Italian restaurants on Taylor, which we found refreshing, even though we would never complain about the others. It's just more contemporary and little edgier. We both ended up ordering the burger, and it was the best we've had in ages. Our server was attentive and super friendly, too. We'll definitely go again.

Everything was great, we went for my sister's birthday and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious but the server/bartender was excellent! It was a Wednesday afternoon and I'm pretty sure he was the only one working on the floor. When my sister asked about doing picklebacks, even though its not on the menu, he didn't hesitate to make it happen. It was a small but meaningful gesture when he could have just told us no. Especially seeing him hustling through the dining room to take care of everyone. Unfortunately I can't remember his name but he really did a nice job.

We went for brunch. Service was excellent. Menu had some creative things that were visually appealling but we started to think there was a draft in the kitchen. Coffee came out cold, our eggs benedict came out cold, the duck fried chips came out cold, and the braised pork rib sandwich came out cold and dry,

Booked a reservation based on other reviews, which described this as a nice little neighborhood find. We thought it was a dive ... uncomfortable high-top tables in a bar, with an extremely limited menu. If all you want is a burger and a beer, it's o.k. If you're looking for a nice brunch or dinner, there are quite a few othr spots in the same block that are far better.

We brought some friends from New Orleans here for a fun dinner. We got a big welcome when we arrived, quick but not rushed service and of course the food was perfect as usual. (What do you put in the Bolognese? I clean my plate so well it's almost embarrassing!)

We picked Three Aces because it was recommended as one of the top places to dine if you need a place close to the United Center. In Little Italy, I was able to book a table and easily get in for our party of three at the last minute. The restaurant is a bit dark with a louder noise level and tables set up high. All great to set the mood for a hockey game. There's quite a selection of craft beers, as well as specialty drinks. Not knowing whether I wanted their special Old Fashioned or a craft beer, the server brought out two samples of craft beer to help me decide. I opted for the special Old Fashioned and it was a hit. The main course special of the day was a hamburger on a donut. When asked if the donut was "figuratively speaking" or if it was indeed a real donut, the answer was a real donut that was made on premises. Wanting to give this new hamburger the benefit of a doubt, two of us gave it a try. For 13 a very dense donut laden, eight inch high hamburger was brought out to our table along with a shot of whiskey that came with the meal. I really didn't know that the shot was included in the meal. There was absolutely no way one could eat that hamburger with their hands! The very dense donut, really didn't add anything to the burger in my opinion, so the burger was really just eaten bunless with a fork. It was pretty good, but probably not the best burger in town. If I were to return (which I probably will) I would opt for one of their specialty pizzas. They were served at the next table and looked delicious! The service was not super quick, but we did get our order in time to get to the game.
Parking was easy to find on the street and was free.
Bottom line: The atmosphere is a lively place good for a pre game meal. The restaurant wasn't crowded, and the food, albeit a bit different, was good. Not top scoring in my book, but that was probably because I chose the meal with the donut. Next time I will order something more mainline and get a beer.

We are always looking for restaurants open after 10 pm on nights that we go to the symphony. Three Aces is a short drive from Orchestra Hall and parking is free after 10. The drinks were good and so was the food. A little too dark at the tables - we had to use our mobile phone flashlights to read the menus. Overall, a good experience.

The Three Aces comes off as a hip bar but don't overlook it as a fantastic restaurant. The food was inventive and incredibly flavorful. The beer list is vast but the craft cocktails deserve as much attention. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come again. The only very slight negative is that it is so dark in there that every table was using their cell phones to get enough light to read the menu.
