Very accommodating and our server was great as he helped us with the menu since we are vegan. The food was awesome. We will be back next time we return to San Francisco.

We have been to THO countless times & have always been very pleased with the incredible food & service. This time, we went for Valentine's Day when a fixed price menu was being served & things were not so good. First, we waited at our table for 20 minutes with no recognition from anyone except the person pouring our water. We finally said something to the hostess & then our waiter apologetically appeared. Even after that, our service was just average. I was very disappointed in my first course, which was a salad. We will definitely go back again, but not on a holiday.

Eat here! Fresh organic produce, sustainable meats/fish, creative menu without being silly, gracious service--quite possibly Paso Robles' finest dining experience! We have eaten here over 50 times and every time has been perfect!

Smallest portions I have seen at any restaurant ever. Not a good value. The meal was more like having a few plates of tapas or appetizers rather than meal. With so many other great options nearby, we will not return. Website indicated there would be live guitar music. There was , but only in the bar. That should have been made more clear.

We had good enough service, well prepared food and a generous serving of wine. So why will I not recommend this restaurant?! The bill---the meal was too expensive for what you get. In addition if you are a vegetarian like me. You are really out of luck. I ordered the only dish that was available without meat in it. The dish included an egg prepared with a soft yoke. I told the server I cannot eat an egg made in that fashion. I was not offered a substitute item or even an alternative egg preparation. Basically, I paid $50 [My glass of wine was an additional 12 .]for a dish that consisted of favaro and nettles---good but not $50 good. So if you go to this place be ware, especially if they have a fixed menu and you are a vegetarian.

I don't like to give poor feedback - yet I think some constructive comments may help . We have been here several times in the past and I absolutely loved the Kale salad - Apparently it is a new chef not the woman any longer. The kale salad is not very good there is really nothing great about it. My husbands New York was just just warm and somewhat undercooked, the broccoli was not good and uninventive- nothing to remember. Too many choices in the wine country, sad to say we will miss what it used to be.

We had the special Valentine's Day menu with wine pairing and it was terrific - inventive cuisine meticulously prepared. Food volume was just right and wine choices were spot-on. Our first visit but definitely not our last.

Service was genuine, friendly, and down to earth!!! A pure indication that thoughtful and proactive management exist! Truly an anomaly these days! Allergies were fully accommodated!

Ingredients and quality were fresh and delicious! Sets Thomas Hill far, far apart from restaurants even in the Bay Area!

I've been to Thomas Hill twice now and each time loved every minute! The food is really outstanding! I love that the menu changes with the seasons and it's always fresh and absolutely delish. I can't even pick my favorite thing since it's all so good.

Best of all I must say the service has always surpassed all expectations: warm, friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. The servers are not only great at recommendations on food and wine but they made recommendations on vineyards to visit AND where else to go eat that was dog-friendly!

The covered outdoor patio is perfect for a well behaved dog which is awesome when travelling to Paso and wanting a nice dinner out. They made us feel completely at home and even brought water for pup. Even when a huge rainstorm hit mid-dinner we were warm and dry at a lovely table under a heat lamp.

I can't wait to go back. Thomas Hill is by far my favorite restaurant in Paso!

Came here for a New Year's Eve prefixed menu. One of best meals I ever had. Avocado toast sounds dull but it was amazing. I could eat a whole loaf of it. Prime rib was close to being best I've ever had. And apple tart for dessert was not too sweet. Service was good too, very attentive. I didn't think paso Robles had restaurants of this quality but really good food. I highly recommend it

Food was prepared perfectly. Prix faire menu had good variety of options for each course. Only item below excellent was the cod which was prepared very plain and bland. Overall, very good dining experience. As always, service was perfect and friendly.

First, the ambiance was lovely. Unfortunately the food arrived cold and the courses were rushed - yet the restaurant was not full. The second course - artichoke hearts - was tough and flavorless. The main course was very good, as was the dessert - which made up for the bland second course. Interestingly, no one, from the wait staff to the hostess, asked how our food was. For a restaurant of this calibre and a $78 price fixe menu, this was extremely disconcerting. We won't be rushing back.

Enjoyed brunch at this charming restaurant. The menu was imaginative and locally sourced. Many basic ingredient items were made in house. The ambiance in a garden area was lovely. We didn't have wine, but the restaurant has a large number of very interesting local vintages in limited supply.

And it was Sunday after Christmas and the kitchen and wait staff were excellent. Breakfast sandwich was best ever, as was Mushroom ragu; and French press coffee was outstanding. If they can be that fantastic between holidays, I canonly imagine how gret it would be at "normal" times. Definitely a must do place for brunch.

Came over the Christmas weekend, with great expextations, as we have come several times and always enjoyed. But, what happened - Was the chef on vacation?
