This place has an awesome atmosphere! The beer list goes on forever and the appetizers were incredible!

Most people eating here probably have their cars at meters, which aren't particularly inexpensive for a small town. So one wishes the service would be faster. It's not the server's (I use the singular intentionally--there was only one server, who was working her whatever it is off). Why it should take 20 minutes to get a draft beer I have no idea. The bar was not busy, it was almost 2 in the afternoon. Food needs to be cooked (i.e., it can take time), and the tacos (it was Taco Wednesday, which we hadn't known but of which we took advantage) were really good, the burger (about $12) less so. Good beer list. Mostly loud young men there, with multiple televisions blaring away. The big room has a scattered feel. And's kind of fun, and would be more fun if one didn't have a car outside running out of time (no fault of the car, is it?)

My boyfriend and I made reservations via open table. However, the hosts did not save us a table although our name was listed. We ended up "getting lucky" that s table opened up but it was just a high top in the front area of the bar. The TV was not easily visible, and we were there for the football game. Once we were there the food and service were good. But we were not impressed with the reservation process.

The first person to greet us was very friendly, but was not aware of "Open Table" ... "We have plenty of open tables", she said. Once I explained, her colleague checked us in.

Food was good - service was attentive and prompt.

Enjoyed it.
Thank You,

My husband and I visited the Thirsty Moose on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant has a large number of TV's and they were all turned to different football games. They have a large beer selection including a number of beer on tap.

I went here for brunch. I wish I had gone somewhere else as the food was not well prepared and left much to be desired. The only reason I gave 2 stars was that it had a vast selection of beers and a variety of sports broadcasting. I think they should stick to bar food and focus on their asset of have a great bar scene.

Too many delicious restaurants and choices in Portsmouth to stop here again for lunch. Salad was ok.

A group of friends and I came for New years eve dinner. Place was moderately busy when we got there, and became increasingly busy as the night went on. We ordered a wings appetizer which was fantastic. The fish and chips needed seasoning because tthey were very bland but the rest of us enjoyed our meals. However the service was pretty bad. Took a while to get the attention of our waiter, who must have introduced herself four times, four different approaches. Which was odd. We were having different people come to the table all night giving us our food, our drinks and so on so we never knew who to approach when we needed things. I'd go back for the appetizers, and their beer list was unbeatable.
