Always great food! Always good service!
Great service! Awesome waiter!
Had brunch there with four adults and a two year old. Nice place, decent food, we had great service. fine for kids. Not really a memorable meal, but very fairly priced and comfortable.
GR8 place for sports fun. Good food. Not too noisy.
Great place to eat and coming soon outdoor seating!
The food and service never disappoint. We have our favorite items on the menu, California sushi roll and Smoked Turkey Club. We are looking forward to them completing their outdoor area revamp to be able to enjoy the outdoors when the weather permits.
Music is often too loud, especially when bringing clients to lunch.
We love Open Table because we got a table a half hour before we wanted to eat!!!
We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. The mojito I ordered was very sweet...it needed some soda water to give it the spark it needed.
The California rolls were delicious as always (we’ve ordered them before)!
But we ordered the Brussel sprouts and we were very disappointed! First of all they weren’t very warm and I think there might have been 5; the cost was around $8.00! Brussel Sprouts aren’t that expensive...we thought they were a rip off!
We also ordered a French dip. It was good but way more bread than meat! Maybe we ordered the wrong things! I’ll give them another try but this trip was not a winner in our book!
We were there to celebrate my moms 80th birthday and I had requested through open Table that they bring her a special birthday dessert as a surprise. We were finished eating and the bill cane and that was it. I couldn’t say anything because that would ruin the surprise. So we just left.
I appreciate all you do for me when I make a last minute reservation. Sheer perfection! Thank you!
As I have said before this is a go to place for us because of its proximity for work and home. Food all came great. The Poke Bowl salad was done right except a couple of ice cubes in with the fish. However, better that than fish that was not fresh
We started with clam chowder, something in all the times going here I had never had. Word of advice not that good. Word for the restaurant. Bring back your Thai SW soup soooo much better.
The Sushi ( dragon roll) on the seasonal menu was perfect as was the artichoke appetizer. Server was attentive without being obtrusive as we were talking business. Overall good visit and recommend going back to others
Just really busy. Our waiter was obviously slammed, so our service was “so so”. I had the Cubano sandwich, it didn’t have pork belly or any noticeable pickled veggies. It was average.
Good bar scene and my Carnitas bowl was very tasty. Our server was very pleasant.
Having a reservation is recommended! Limits wait times. Food is good, Ahi salad is great!
Our server Cir was excellent! He made sure that our drinks were full and the food was served as soon as it was ready... Perfect service and timing.
Good food, great service, mediocre ambience due to loud volume of the music despite my request to drop it down. The selection was gesred for 24 and under crowd. Ambience is fine for sitting at the bar to watch a game, not for sitting down with friends for fine dining and conversation.
Food was delicious and reasonably priced! Wait staff was excellent.
Made reservations and got seated right away. Nice waitress and good tasting food. Thank you!
Went for Easter Brunch and our server/waitress Nikki was wonderful! Irish Whisky French Toast was delicious!
Wonderful food great service and super friendly staff. This place is a great brunch spot.
Great food. Quite loud and hard to hear people at the other end of the table
As always, a great place to eat. Can’t wait till the new patio opens
Convenient west side location with easy access right off HWY 217. The new Land Rover dealership is under construction next door, however, there wasn't a problem getting in and out of the parking area and there are still plenty of spaces for restaurant parking.
Thirsty Lion is currently undergoing renovation to the patio and it was closed, however, the changes they’re making will make it a much more year round dinning space. While we were there for lunch, it was very noisy between the construction and the volume of the music making it difficult to have a conversation.
Both the grilled salmon and warm chicken Cobb salad were well prepared and tasty. Although busy with lunch, the service was attentive and efficient.
I’ll be back!
Our waiter, Steve, was exceptional!!! He was charming, helpful, had a delightful sense of humor and really made our experience so much more fun!
We have been here several times over the last several months and it seems like the quality of he food is not as good, nor is the service. Most likely won't be going back for awhile.
Good quality but service was slow and our bill was wrong even after pointing it out to the server.
Very upset that our favorite dining place changed their menu and no long serve pizza even with an unused pizza oven on the premises!?!!!!! They also used to have more variety of vegetarian options also! Not our favorite place anymore! Service remains very good, but the servers cannot change what’s on the menu!!!!
The whole group was very disappointed by the multiple menu changes that have recently occurred. Thirsty Lion used to be one of our favorite spots to dine. They have totally taken off all their wonderful, delicious pizza. They were cooked in a great pizza oven. They have removed almost all of their vegetarian selections, we did find one on their brunch menu,! Also, who does a weekend brunch? We were there on a Saturday afternoon. The omelette that was vegetarian on the brunch menu was served only with roasted potatoes, no biscuits or toast offered. You need to change your menu back to more variety with pizza back on the menu and more vegetarian options. We mainly come for lunch, but may not come back in the near future.
Definitely more of a pub venue. Loud. A few little mistakes were made but the waiters were always very nice about it and did things by to fix it. Food was pretty good. My dish was not good, but I’m sure it’s more of a disjoint styles situation.
A very busy restaurant. excellent food. very noisy. recommend make a reservation at their busiest hours
Possibly recommended. I would caution on the amount of noise the set up generates
We go here a lot as it is in the neighborhood. There have been plenty of hits and misses but never on such a scale. The Korean chicken dish looked like they brought out half a portion. The chicken strips were severely overcooked bordering on burnt. the only bright spots were the salmon cakes and the mac & cheese dishes
We were fairly disappointed and may have to rethink this place as our go to place for a quick bite
The Passion Fruit Mimosas were delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and the overall brunch experience.
Had to wait even though I had made reservations. The food was just okay, fish tacos, with not a lot of flavor. The place was super loud, almost made it difficult to have conversations with people at your own table. The waitress was good though.
It was super loud. Upon seating we asked if there may be a quieter place to sit or to turn down the music, the hostess was helpful and said she needed to check but a gentleman (floor manager?) said "It's that loud in the entire restaurant." We did get seated elsewhere which was quieter but still louder than preferred. The food was good but quite pricey. The waitress was attentive, friendly and helpful. Overall, I wouldn't go back.
Yes, Great service, great food and wonderful atmosphere. Our waitress was wonderful and so very nice.
Our server was amazing, but the wine got there AFTER our appetizers. It took 20 minutes to get our glasses of wine, but 10 for our appetizers. A gal came by asking us how everything was, and I asked her where our wine was. She said the bar was backed up, and then our server guy came by and saw that we had no wine but our appetizers. He expedited our wine and was back in 2 minutes with our wine. Maybe your bar didn't have enough staff on a Tuesday at 5:00 pm? The tuna tower and California roll were amazing, and I got to reconnect with an past high school friend once again!
We came for St.Patrick day, having made a reservation. We were told you had run out of the meal we came for.
St. Patrick’s Day so was pretty busy. We try again on a regular day.
Really loud music.
