Reservation jumped from Tigard to tansabourne... Apparently that happens a lot??? Very expensive appetizer with buried shrimp tail... Specific. Request of no butter on salmon...lots of butter. Top shelf lemondrop specifically ask for no sugar... Sugared rim & lemon seeds.
Waitress spent more time on her little computer than with my table. Additionally, a 2% surcharge to which she could not explain.
Limited menu and subpar service. Had an hour wait even though we had a reservation.
Waited over 20 minutes for our reserved table. Would have done better to just walk in and put our name on the wait list versus a reservation. Food was ok. No non-dairy creamer option was disappointing. Was questioned when we asked for a second spoon. There were 6 people at our table, 3 with coffee and I guess we were only supposed to share one spoon.
The presentation is amazing, but the food does not taste as good as the presentation unfortunately. Still decent though. The salmon cakes lacked flavor. Salmon was overcooked. The poke stack was yummy, but you can tell the tuna could be more fresh. The best part about our dining experience was the service. Excellent and attentive. I like the ambiance. Fun and energetic. No one could hear when my baby was crying.
the ambiance during a trail blazers game was very poor. the audio was never played when more than 90% of customers were there to watch the game and the place was basically empty
The service was great, the food was good… Nothing to complain about but lots of sauces and heavy food, a little difficult to find a healthy option. That said, the server accommodated all of our requests for sauces and such on the side. I will say the music was quite loud and made it difficult to have a conversation. They might want to consider turning it down a notch - this was a Monday night at 5 PM.
Will definitely be back.
Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere!
My husband and I liked Thirsty Lion very much in the past, and we were delighted that they were having an Easter Brunch.
The staff was so kind, attentive and considerate to ALL of us, including 4 adults, and 4 children ranging from 1 to 13yrs. This time my family loved the food, atmosphere, and delightful fun we were all treated to.
The staff kept our drinks full, and served our food right on time, exactly correct, and still very warm.
This is the first time in a long time my husband and I felt we got all our money paid for, and chose to give a well deserved 25% tip. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE, Thank you!!
It was Easter sunday, and crowded as expected, but even on busy days the service is usually still quick. Not today. We were a party of 4, and our food came 35 minutes AFTER ordering, and it was all cold except for one dish. The server was polite and offered to have new food made but what's the point since we were starving and didn't know how much longer that would take. We couldn't even have a conversation because the noise level in the place felt like a friday night at the bar. We come here a lot so I'm not sure why today was a difficult day for them, but it was disappointing at best.
We had a great time will be back again!
Surprised at how good of an experience it was! Definitely going back!
Only saw our server maybe 3 times our entire hour and a half there, wasn’t given silverware or napkins til we asked for them, they did not refill our water, my fish and chips were luke warm and soggy, and my husbands burger was majority raw when he asked for it to be cooked medium. When our server did offer to bring us more water, she stood back on the line where the food comes out and was talking with other servers and kitchen staff, and still did not bring us any water when she returned. It was very noisy, I could hardly hold a conversation with my husband, and the lighting was very dim as well. I understand it’s a gastropub, but you’d still think they would at least have some decent servers or at least be able to execute simple pub food and keep it hot when it wasn’t even that busy.
Food wasnt as good as it normally is. Maybe just an off night.
We met our friends for dinner on a Friday night and got seated right away in a booth that I requested. The wine pours are generous, and I ordered the Ahi Poke Stack (which as listed as an appetizer), and it was absolutely delicious, and just enough dinner for me.
Great as per usual!
We have a great experience every time we come in town. It’s definitely one of our favorite spots to stop while on business.
Very elevated pub food with exceptional service.
Great vibe, great atmosphere, great staff, great gastro pub...
over priced for what you got for lunch, pretty bland food.
First time for breakfast
A pleasant surprise on the selecton, quality, and quantity
We couldn’t tell who was our waitress- multiple would come up asking the same questions. The food wasn’t hot and completely cooked and the drinks weren’t very good either. I eat here a lot and this was one of the worst experiences
My dad and I had a 2 hour late lunch. Our server Cam was a delight. The food and drinks were yummy and timing was fantastic. I will recommend to friends.
Good selection of drinks and food. Our waitress balanced how much she came by well, wasn't a pest basically. This location was REALLY cold. We had to wear our coats the whole time. We noticed the rest of the customers were as well.
Excellent service. Perfect cocktails. Deliciously prepared food. Music videos and sports on the big screens. What more can you want!
Great brunch, food and service was great.
Not a fan of their 'added fee' on their bill.
Overall it was good. The calamari was way overdone. There was a light flickering right over our head (fortunately the table was large enough and open to move to the other end and it didn't bother us anymore). The rib eye and salmon were good albeit a bit over seasoned even after asking them to not season them. The beers were good and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Sunday Brunch with family. Able to have good conversation, and the food was very good.
Quality of food was low for time spent on presentation. Original Bloody Mary good for $5.
Sons 20th Birthday with the family . Mid week, so didn’t expect too much of ambiance, but was surprised. Quite busy.. great food, great service
Beginning: Close to the parking lot was fantastic as it was raining so hard!
Middle: We made reservations and our table was in a great spot. Our server was so efficient, and a darling person. Food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor! We went for brunch and they have a special menu that is small, but has something for literally everyone. We were also given regular menus.
End: Check out was easy! Our server showed up to the table and it was all paperless, I love that! Did you know that paper receipts are toxic to handle and cannot be recycled? I had just learned that.
In summary, they had delicious food, awesome service, and a very well done restaurant in an easy access area. This was our first visit and we are looking forward to returning many times!
Yummy food fast service a bit loud but enjoyable lots of food options
Work lunch for 7 was great. Plenty of food options for all including vegetarian and flexible options for food allergies.
Food was subpar. We spent 94 dollars for four people with no alcohol. Fries were over cooked, hard, burnt. Fish tasted old. Server never came back. No refills offered on our soda, ran out of water. Lot of money for a loud, barely edible dinner.
I was VERY impressed that the hostess greeted me warmly, and when I mentioned my Open Table reservation she said "oh yes, I have your table all ready for you. And we noted your Gluten and Soy allergies and your wait staff is already aware." WOW. No restaurant has ever greeted me that way! When I sat down at the table (ahead of my companions), I saw they already had their gluten free menu sitting out on the table ready for me. The waiter (Eric B, who said he is normally the bartender) came up right away and asked me if I wanted a beverage and pointed out the GF menu. I thanked him. When my companions arrived and we were ready to order, Eric wanted to be sure the salad dressing on the GF salad contained no soy and so he went to speak to the chef. We found out there was indeed soy in the dressing (they must not make their own) because he printed out both the ingredients for the salad (which was fine) and the dressing (which had the soy). So I just asked for olive oil and vinegar and he brought it immediately. He also kept my beverage glass full at all times, and checked back often. The salad was good and plentiful and I went home amazed at the service I had received. I complimented the hostess on the way out.
We had outstanding and friendly service. Tons of food options and variety. Last minute on a busy New Year's Eve they were very happy to quickly accommodate when our party of 4 turned into a party of 13. Highly recommend this place.
We went on New Years Eve and Clare our server was amazing! The only problem was the bartender was super slow!
Great food, great service. Checked out the brunch menu and my son loved the spicy chicken & waffles. I had the adult French toast & a deliciouse blood orange mimosa. Will definatly be back.
