We had a very good experience except for the seating next to a window by the kitchen. All the cook conversations were heard and there were dishes stacked against the window making noise each time the cooks reached for a dish.
The food was excellent, the scotch list was spectacular, the wine list good and the wait staff were all pleasant and helpul. The restaurant should do something about the noise from the kitchen. We will be back but ask for different seating.

Theo's has never disappointed. It's always such a special treat. The chef is so creative. I can't think of another dinner venue where I'm always pleasantly surprised.

We went to Theo’s for a family anniversary. The food was good but very busy. Over complicated. For instance, a perfectly delicious ribeye at $44 was smothered in salty blue cheese and tomatoes. Unnecessary.
Service was good but very slow. Bartender was really good.

Service was poor. Reserved a table for three and were seated at a crowded table for four—fourth place setting was not removed for some time despite telling the hostess and waitress that we were only three (as reserved) and after being asked several times if a fourth would would be joining us. The waitress did not come to the table until we had been seated for some time, and then she did not take drink orders—she came back awhile later to take drink orders but did not ask us about food. Took a long time to get drinks and then the waitress disappeared again. Came back to the table some time later to finally ask us about food. It was not especially busy at the restaurant but service was s-l-o-w. I have been to Theo’s many times and really like it. On this occasion the food was great as always, it was just slow in coming because of inattentive service.

Duck mushroom noodle dish was huge, but a bit dry and bland. Cod was strong tasting and dry. Just ok...service good, food ok.

Theo’s is an excellent restaurant. Very attentive, but not intrusive service. Knowledgeable staff. We dined there for dinner, and the food was excellent. We have no criticisms at all of Theo’s.

My sisters and I were there to visit a close friend, who is Orchestra Conductor for “The King and I,” which was presented at the Walton Arts Center across the street. I only heard about Theo’s online, and it was an excellent choice. We had impeccable service, and only ordered drinks with the Cheese, Meat and Vegetable tray, but everything was delicious. We were there quite late, close to closing, so we missed the earlier crowd...but our timing could not have been better, because we had a great reminiscing with each other, laughing and enjoying the food and drinks.

I've been a patron of Theo's for years. Theo's has inventive and delicious cuisine, and, up until my last visit, had a pleasant dining atmosphere. It really was a strange and somewhat disappointing experience. I made reservations a few days in advance because I know how busy a Saturday night can be at Theo's. When we arrived, we had to wait about fifteen minutes for our table but we didn't mind that. We were seated in the dining area that had a pretty large party making a tremendous amount of noise. It was so loud that I couldn't hear my husband talk, much less hear the server. It was so bad that our server noticed that we couldn't even have a conversation because of it. I don't know why a party of this size was seated in the dining area. They really needed a private room. Our server did relocate us to another table which eliminated that problem. I ordered a bottle of wine and my husband ordered a martini. It took probably twenty minutes to get his drink and the server came back to tell me that they didn't carry that specific wine anymore. She did offer to let me try a substitute which wasn't great but at the rate of how things were going already, I just decided to get the bottle she recommended. We ordered an appetizer which came out fairly quick and my husband ordered another drink. We ordered our food at the same time as the drink. After about fifteen minutes, the server came back and said that they were out of the item my husband had ordered. He chose another dish similar to the first choice. Our food arrived before his drink order did, unfortunately. After dinner, we each ordered a dessert and my husband ordered just plain black coffee to go with it. Even after reminding our server that he hadn't received his coffee, twice, he only got it after dessert was pretty much over. Then our server came by and said "Here's some champagne for your anniversary!" It wasn't our anniversary. The food was great but the ambiance and service was very disappointing.

The bar looks outstanding. We came for dinner. The ambience was upscale but a fair portion of the bar crowd moved over for dinner making the evening less elegant than it could have been. The bar split fron the dinning room which helps a great deal.

The food was great. The wine list had a decent but limited selection. The mixed drink options were enormous. I don't recommend the desserts. The quality of the food was great enough to push the overall experience to a 4 out of 5.

My wife had their "amazing" Shrimp Ravioli . I got one bite of it and I agree ..."amazing".
I got the cod. It was also good. I might have said "amazing" until I tasted the Shrimp Ravioli!
Great service, affordable wines and a lovely interior.
Best restaurant we've been to in a while!

A lot of choice of beers in terms of brands, but little variety of types--lagers and IPAs. Service was spotty--too much attention at first, then almost none. Couldn't get more water or a second drink.

Food was great--fresh, innovative, delicious.

I made a reservation with the intention of dining inside as a date night. Being a nice fairly temperate evening, we thought dining on the patio would be lovely, but soon realized it was a bit chilly, with potential rain in the forecast. Also, while sitting there, I received an email saying they had cancelled my open table reservation. Apparently they don't honor dining on their patio as a dinner reservation? It was a slow weekday, and took over five minutes to be approached by wait staff with water, and I had to ask for a dinner menu after about fifteen minutes. If this is their patio norm I wouldn't recommend it. So I requested to our server we'd like to go to their dining room. But once inside, we were accommodated wonderfully and had a great dining experience and very good food, as well as proper service. And they changed or open table reservation back from cancelled without me prompting. In closing, it's a shame they don't treat the patio patrons the same as those choosing to dine indoors. On previous occasions we were offered the same courtesy with either dining choice.

Food was fine. Cesar with anchovies, fois gras, duck. old school vibe - leather banquettes, white tablecloths. Reasonable wine list - room temp red wine - pet peeve. Service sincere but untrained. Close to arts center.

Although the service was great, I was disappointed overall. Five of our party of six ordered filets or ribeyes and, with one exception, the steaks were all over cooked. My martini was served with slivers of ice in it, a no no in my book. I sent it back and the same thing happened again. The atmosphere and service was nice though.

Theo's is still one of Fayetteville's best offerings. I'm delighted they have not yet decided to rest on their laurels. The rotating cocktail menu is still satisfying, and at strikingly reasonable price. It's an easy spot for a date or upscale happy hour, and delivers the kind of food you'd expect in a chef-driven hot spot in a major city, but without trying too hard. I ordered the pork chop, which turned out to be a mammoth and almost magically tender cut of pork—I'd highly recommend it, along with the experience itself.

This was a business dinner and I really appreciate a restaurant where you don't need to shout to be heard. Theo's ambiance was perfect for the occasion.
Food was excellent.
I had two connoisseurs of fine wine with and the wine selection was a bit brief for them but we still found some bottles they enjoyed.
I am new to NWA and I entertain a lot for business. I am delighted to have found Theo's.
