About theMINT Gastropub
theMINT: envisioned in the past, resurrected by opportunity, executed by experience, enriched by community, growing through innovation
What We Do:
Gastropub refers to a bar and restaurant that serves high-end beer and food.
The term gastropub, a portmanteau of gastronomy and pub, originated in England in the late 20th century. English pubs were drinking establishments and had little emphasis placed on the serving of food. Then that all changed. theMINT is an AMERICAN Gastropub that focuses on premium food and beer as well as premium spirits, cocktails, and martinis.

theMINT Gastropub Ratings and Reviews
Trendy style in former bank building. Attractive bar. Attentive service. Classic comfort food with a gourmet twist. Excellent macaroni and cheese. Interesting cocktails. The fried chicken was mouth-watering. The biscuits were tough and less delicious than hoped, which was mildly disappointing, though they were cheesy.
We came to The Mint for the first time 10/31/17 to celebrate my retirement. We came back a week later as a "Thank You" for the two people who made my business possible. Both times, David was our server. Very friendly and personable yet professional. Knowledgeable of what was in the various dishes. The food was EXCELLENT. Probably one of the best steaks I have had both in taste and tenderness. Desserts are small which suited us after a healthy salad and meal. I will continue to recommend The Mint as a fine dining experience.
After a long week, it was a great spot to head out to on a date The overall experience proved to be our best date in months. The fun hot spot showcases the amazing way re-purposing old buildings leads to eclectic dining with a flare. We began with the cheese appetizer and it was made as mozzarella should be. We followed it up with meals that appealed to each of us. I was thrilled to have amazing vegetarian options. I would highly recommend theMINT for your next date night out!
Wow! We stopped in based on online reviews while visiting our daughter at college for the weekend. All three of us thought it was one of the best gastropubs we've ever been to. The menu and food are creative and outstandingly delicious. The chef's passion for food and creating wonderful dishes was evident in everything we tried. Try everything....nothing disappointed, including our server, Devin, who obviously shares the chef's passion for food and for making sure his patrons have a fabulous dining experience. We will definitely be back.
TheMINT is one of my favorite Bethlehem eateries, and this was a nice chance to try out the new menu. While the meat-eaters in our group were thrilled with their steak and burger, our vegetarian friend had to send back the beet patty she originally ordered and go with their chickpea sandwich instead. But overall, just as good as ever!
My go to place for any and every occasion. The ambiance is fun, cocktails are amazing and beer list is extensive. Their comfort-food-with-a-twist menu is always being updated. There is something for everyone whether you are have an adventurous palatte or not. Even my picky husband and young kids love it!
Have been here several times and it never disappoints. I was looking forward to their new menu, which changes I think a few times a year, and it all looked amazing. Also probably the best spot in Bethlehem for craft beer, always something different on draft. Hands down one of the top spots in the Lehigh Valley
Ended up having a nice meal but was disappointed that a) the online menu did not match the current in-use restaurant (we have a selective eater in our family and he had found something he wanted to order on the website's listed menu that was no longer available when we got there. Made for a rocky start with a very bummed child) and multiple items on the current menu were scratched out as they were not available. Made the choices a bit more limited. For example, in one section of the menu all but one item was crossed out. Bit of a bummer. Also, I'm gluten-free and I was SO excited to see gluten free fried chicken as an option for me. Then the server told me that the accompanying items with the chicken (gravy, biscuit) were not gluten-free. Thought that was rather strange. And disappointing. Then, after we placed our orders, we overheard another server tell his table about all of the specials that were not listed on the menu. Bummer, our server never told us that there were specials. So, overall, we actually really enjoyed the food that we received and my drink (the Coyote) was awesome, but left feeling that we may not be so quick to return.
Love their foie gras! And their Bank Street Burger? The kind that when you eat it, you wonder why every burger isn't as amazing. The service has s always great and the food is always so delicious. I appreciate that they have gluten free options. One of my favorites in the Lehigh Valley!
The Mint is a real find. The chef-owner is excellent in his selection and preparation. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the mac and cheese variations, although they are a bit hard to see on the menu because of the lighting and lack of contrast of that section. And the music is terrific.
Without a doubt the best service I have ever received. The food was amazing too. We had the shrimp jumbalaya and the fried chicken. Definitely give the drink menu a look and try the craft sodas they have from Wyndridge Farm. We also had the crack pie for dessert. All around 10/10, would go every day if I could afford it.
Decided to try something new, so we made reservations at The Mint. The place is in an urban setting but there appeared to be plenty of parking for diners. There is a bar which if it gets crowded on a "hot" night goodbye parking spaces.
Service was slightly slow considering there was only one other occupied table. That said, the food was worth it. Excellent pork belly Korean bbq style with sushi rice and Thai peanuts. A bit of an odd mix but it works. Loved it.
The wife had the specially prepared life you've never seen before fried chicken. You've never seen it like this and it was excellent (she let me taste hers).
We will definitely go back and try something else. The only real disappointment was the smallish menu. It was very eclectic but small. Some choices were a definite "no interest" which really narrows what you can choose. A larger menu would serve the place well.
Their chicken nuggets, which we tried for the first time during this visit, were crazy delicious! Their service and food are always so good, this restaurant is one of our favorites in the Lehigh Valley! I love that they offer the option of gluten free mac and cheese, as well.
