Todd was outstanding. It was our first time eating here and really enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere with super artwork. I've been driving in the Berry Hill area for over 20 years and never knew this gem was there. If you are looking for a nice quiet dinner, with an amazing menu for you and your partner, or a a few couples, look no further. And by the way, don't worry about portion size. I'm on the larger side and I left completely full, portions are not skimpy.

The Yellow Porch is kind of hidden away. It’s special for a lot of reasons. Menu is totally original. Waiter was excellent without being intrusive. It’s a classy place where you can relax in a pair of jeans. It’s a Nashville gem.

Great food for Valentine's Day. My husband had filet with asparagus and roasted truffle potatoes. He said all of it was excellent. I had salmon with squash casserole. It too was very good. Not your usual squash casserole (squash cut paper thin) and very tasty. Our waiter Todd was very attentive to our needs and did a great job. Our first time there and we will definitely be returning.

Valentine's Day celebration with my wife. We had a very nice dinner; the food was excellent. We shared fried oyster appetizer which was very good; I had a perfect filet mignon; my wife had shrimp and grits which she really enjoyed; and then cheesecake for dessert. Nice wine list. Good service. Nice ambience for a crowded, busy night. Great place to go for any reason!

I always enjoy Yellow Porch. My only complaint is from this visit when I was seated facing the window and the lights from the cars facing the restaurant was very distracting. Other than that everything was great.

Finally a restaurant that is easy to get to and with great good! You Gulch and East Nashville restaurants, take note: Berryhill/Bransford is the new culinary center of Nashville. After a dismal dinner off Broadway, we new Nashvillians were ready to call it quits and eat at home. Luckily we saw Yellow Porch on a trip to Southeastern Salvage! Wine: big pours of Austrian and French wine. Food: salmon, pork chop and cheddar fritters. Love this place!

Always enjoy The Yellow Porch. A great meal after a drive from St. Louis is a good reward for the travel. Our server, Natalie, was very accommodating - great service! The crab cakes were very good, as was the steak special. We try to try something new. The wine list supports the menu nicely.

Extremely disappointed in smoked salmon flatbread appetizer. It was smothered in mozzarella cheese which was not mentioned in the menu description. Supposedly it had dried chili cream cheese spread on the flat bread as a base. It was under seasoned, i.e. bland tasting and if you didn't see the small pieces of salmon, you would never know it was an ingredient. They were tasteless.
This is unusual for this restaurant.
The grouper and paella were good.
The service was excellent, spearheaded by Adam.

The Yellow Porch is consistently a great restaurant! The mussels are wonderful with such a rich, flavorful broth! The perfect start. My husband always loves the Filet with the Potato Mushroom Gratin. I get the Penne Bettola. It's a little spicy, which I like, with a great vodka cream sauce. For dessert, it's always the Chocolate Expresso Torte! Smooth, chocolatey, delicious. It's always what my husband wants as his "Birthday Cake"! Thankfully you can buy them whole if you call ahead of time!

Yellow Porch was not prepared for Nashville Restaurant Week. The service was lacking and for the first time, with many visits over the years, the quality of food was very poor. If a restaurant can’t give its very best during Restaurant Week , then don’t participate.

I was introduced to the Yellow Porch fifteen years ago, when it was difficult to find a good restaurant in Nashville. The Yellow Porch has maintained it's reputation and continues to serve quality food. We arrived on Friday night around 7:30 and it was crowded and noisy. It's a small intimate room with quirky decor. I would have given this review five stars because my date raved about the salmon. I had the filet, which was good, but not great. It just didn't have much flavor. We split the creme brûlée which was outstanding yummy. Texture was perfect and the vanilla was infused into the creme perfectly.
