Great meal, just wish the wait for dinner hadn't been so long
Food was pretty good, the waiter was great, the overall feel was good, (just a bit of tight quarters).
My group goes here nearly every month. We all have favorites on the regular menu and love the specials as well. The staff is very attentive to us every time. It is a perfect central location with excellent food.
Food was decent. Service was spotty - had to remind server about my second round of drinks. Atmosphere was noisy and cramped with crying babies during evening hours.
Great service and atmosphere. Very simple food options, but quite tasty.
Overall pretty good. Temp was a little chilly and parking was terrible.
We love the Yellow Porch! This was our third Valentine's dinner there in a row. The staff is always friendly, and the food is top-notch. We will be back!!
Eric, our server, was helpful, knowledgeable , and made great suggestions. Celery/garlic soup delicious as was the special, Amberjack. In Nashville on business, it was such a delightful experience, we returned the very next night and may make a third visit before we head back to Texas.
There were six of us having dinner together. Each of us ordered something different. Every plate on the table was fabulous to look at, wonderful to eat and all of us ate every bite of our entrees! Good job!
I thought the Paella wasn't as good as the last time. Too spicey.
Love this place!! Food is good, service and wine fantastic. It is close to the interstate so a good friend and I meet here after work frequently. The servers are the best!!!
Our meal at the Yellow Porch was very good! Highly recommend the celery and blue cheese soup and the chocolate and espresso torte. Also the service was excellent!
My husband and I love the Yellow Porch. The mussels are wonderful in a broth with garlic and shallots. My husband gets the filet. He thought tonight's was their best yet. I get the Penne Bettolla with Shrimp. Just the right amount of spice. The best part is dessert...the chocolate espresso torte! Its heaven! It's so good, I get a whole one every year for his birthday for his birthday cake! If The Yellow Porch wasn't so good, we wouldn't keep coming back year after year!
The food was good, but the crab cake starter, the cherry salad, and the carrot cake were outstanding. The only negative about the evening was the bread pudding...it does not deserve to remain on the menu.
Food and services were good. I would like to see them change their menu as it always seems to be without change over time.
Food was absolutely delicious and server, Todd was outstanding!
One of my consistently favorite places for years! A little cramped, but always is....service outstanding, food delicious!
This was my second time at the Yellow Porch - always great service, food and server recommendations.
We tried the Sharp Cheddar Fritters to start and they truly are little balls of happiness! For my entree I did the pork chop - generous portion and perfectly cooked. My friends tried the scallop special and the salmon - both great reviews. We ended with the chocolate cake which is simply ridiculous - super rich but not overly sweet.
The servers are fun, quirky and wonderful - can't wait to go back again when I am in town.
Good service and good tasting food. My wife's plates came out hot and mine was a little cool for my preference. I'm writing that off to a busy crowd for restaurant week. I'll likely be back in the future.
It has been several years since I last dined at The Yellow Porch and I was looking forward to a return visit. Pros: The salad was excellent, as was the gratin
Cons: The filet was just terrible..dry with no flavor
We were seated at the table closest to the door on a frigid evening when there were many other
Our server was slow and unfriendly
We came during the Nashville Restaurant Week and were not disappointed. The staff is friendly and professional, the food was outstanding and the portions were just as generous as they are during regular operation. We live this restaurant and come for a special date each year.
Revisited an old favorite during restaurant week. Despite a ver busy night, we were seated and served promptly. I’ve been eating here for about 20 years and the food is still inventive, tasty, and well-prepared. It was a little noisy on the night we visited— people were enjoying themselves—no problem. Wait staff were prompt, professional and took good care of us even though they were stretched due to the crowd. I had the skillet chicken and my wife had the salmon and both were great. Don’t get too fancy with your bar choices—it’s not a craft cocktail kind of place. Go, enjoy the food at a Nashville Original and lament if you never visited their sister restaurant: Wild Iris!
My lamb was wonderful. We sat next to Thomas Rhett and just had an easy every day conversation. He shared his mussels with me. He said they were the best he had had in some time.
3 of 4 guests had good food, but two of the 3 reported the food was not hot. One had very overcooked salmon.
I didn't love sitting next to the cold window at a cramped table, and the paella was just ok. BUT the service was great, the app and dessert were also good. We also left something at our table and the hostess called us to come back and get it; that was very kind and something she didn't need to take the time to do. Just for that alone, we would return.
The food was fabulous! Very tasty and a good value. The carrot cake was killer.
Always fantastic! This is my go-to for meals with friends and family.
A group of 4 friends meeting to celebrate a birthday. Todd our server was charming. Our dinners were awesome. They gavr our friend Rodger free dessert for his birthday. ( an extra surprise).
Lovely ending to a cod wintry day.
Always love the Yellow Porch! Impossible to have a bad experience there.
Always delicious food and wonderful servers. We love The Yellow Porch and eat there regularly.
For lunch or dinner, great restaurant!!!
Came with my dad to talk and it was an amazing experience
Was a perfect evening.
We reserved a table for my husband's 36th birthday while we visited Nashville and this place was recommend by a family friend who use to live in the area.
We were not disappointed and everything was absolutely amazing
Staff was so sweet and the service was over the top.
We started off with the mussels, highly recommend these
My husband ordered the lamb with risotto and he ate every bite on his plate
I had the pasta with vodka sauce
For dessert we had the cream brulee which is a must
Everything was amazing and the restaurant was the perfect place for a romantic date.
If your in the area you should definitely go check this place out but make sure you get a reservation.
New Year’s Eve dinner.
The oyster appetizer was sad. They presentation didn’t look high end at all and it wasn’t anything special. The soup was good but the entrees were mediocre at best. The potato gratin was hardly cooked
