   We (four of us) were there for lunch, getting there around 11 AM. I think there may have been other people eating in the bar, but I think we were the only people in the main restaurant. Talk about quiet! The food was exceptional -- the chicken noodle soup was spectacular as were the salmon salads. Perhaps the most impressive thing was the presentation of the food. By that I mean the chef made every dish a work of art -- it was so attractive you almost wanted to admire it rather than eat it. The service was perfect -- no errors, polite, empathetic to our needs

   On the Wednesday evening the restaurant was very bare. It took awhile to be served drinks. We then ordered a cheese plate that was lacking a fair amount of cheese; it was mostly crackers, grapes and dried fruit. Our friend had to send her steak back two times because it needed further cooking. The server also forgot her side of grits. We ordered a bottle of wine to share part way through dinner but this also took awhile to be served. The food tasted decent but it wasn’t amazing and the lag in service made it less than desirable. My friend and I both had our leftovers boxed up to take home. The next morning I saw that they also gave us each other’s leftovers so I could not even eat the rest of my meal the following day. Disappointed...

   Took my husband out for his birthday. It’s always good at the Worthington Inn from start to finish. Bruschetta appetizer to split between us is always tops! I had salmon with butternut squash risotto and my husband had the strip steak, which was tender and huge! Along with salads, Caesar for me and Chopped for him, we were too stuffed for dessert, sadly.

   Brought my parents here who were visiting and it was such a good environment as well as great food. Highly recommend for a nice quiet meal

   We celebrated a dear friend's birthday at brunch on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Everyone's meal was delicious. I had the Eggs Benedict and it was by far one of the best I have ever had. My spicy bloody Mary was perfect. My two guests raved about their brunch entrees and alcoholic beverages. The only downside was no nut free dessert - my friend celebrating her birthday with her husband and me could not find a complimentary dessert that was nut free. Her husband is the one with the tree nut allergy but if she its it, it can be passed on to him. Again, our food and drinks were excellent. Elle

   Revisiting an old favorite after some time away and it proved a lovely evening and terrific meal. Creative and in some cases quite inventive dishes (a honey/caramel flan with candied fennel seeds and candied orchid petal was unique, exquisite, rich yet light...the most enjoyable dessert I've had in a long time; a vegan dish--beer battered tofu stuffed with wild mushrooms--was tempting, unique, and satisfying and I'm not vegetarian; the accompaniments, eg grilled sticky rice in a kind of patty for my wife's striped bass, something I'd only seen in Japan at specialty restaurants, were done with as much care as the main feature. And, as others note, it is a charming 19th century mansion, so the large restaurant is divided into small, cozy rooms with charm, atmosphere, and quiet. Works for a romantic special occasion or for a business meal where one needs to be able to talk at one's ease.

   When we arrived at 11:30 am with reservations, I was a bit worried because there wasn't another person in the entire restaurant. We were seated at a table where 2 of the seats faced a window with a brick wall outside. The rooms were very cold. There was a lovely table by the fireplace; however, we weren't offered it. Our waitress was fine, nothing terrific or exceptional. The restaurant became busier and the noise level was very unpleasant from the two large groups in two different adjoining rooms. The food is nothing great or special. Two of us had the Inn chicken salad plate. I don't think I've seen a smaller portion of chickens salad and fruit anywhere in Franklin county. I didn't care for the yogurt dressing. One of us ordered the walleye sandwich with chips. She said the fish was good, the chips too salty and the house made pickles terrible. We did see an order of the oyster Rockefeller at a nearby table that looked delicious. I doubt that we will return any time soon. We were hoping for a lovely lunch and it turned out to be quite ordinary. I have always been disappointed that the Inn is not handicap accessible and makes no accommodations for anyone with issues with steps. The women's restroom is antiquated and completely unfriendly to anyone older than 25.

   Food was exquisite. Ambience excellent in a small room with a fireplace that was lit and Created a very cozy atmosphere. Service was a bit slow and server was a bit disinterested however the food was outstanding and the overall experience was positive

    Wonderful choices for brunch, my friend and I puzzled and happy with choices. Good food; excellent service; a fine way to while away the mid-day with the sun streaming in.
