The Worthington Inn
Nestled in the heart of historic Old Worthington, the Worthington Inn offers the legacy and charm of a 19th century Victorian inn with a dining experience that is anything but old-fashioned. Chef Mike Water's commitment to sourcing only the freshest ingredients from local farmers results in truly unique and mouth-watering fare you won't find anywhere else in Columbus.
Due to high demand, the patio is seated on a first-come, first-served basis. We will attempt to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee an outdoor table at the time of your arrival.
Very enjoyable Lunch. Food and service was exceptional. Would definitely go back again.
We had a wonderful dining experience. The only complaint I have is that the coffee was cold when it arrived and we asked our waiter to have it warmed up. Even after that it was a tad on the lukewarm side and I would have liked it to be hotter.
Food was excellent but it took almost an hour for our food to come out.
Wonderful staff and food!!
The bloody Mary’s are disgusting now. They taste like straight tomato juice. The food is also over priced. We can go to Mimi’s on Polaris and get better food and mimosas for more reasonable pricing.
Wonderful meal. They have the best hamburgers in town! The service was great.
We all had a delicious lunch on the patio. It was a perfect day and our server was delightful, giving us plenty of time to enjoy our friends get together. Highly recommend any salad with the salmon on top. Always a winner, the Worthington Inn chicken salad. Atmosphere was great. Wonderful lunch spot for us.
What a wonderful dining experience! We enjoyed the beautiful patio for a Sunday brunch. Loved the extensive Bloody Mary menu, and the entrees were DELISH (we had the Beef Worthington and Salmon Eggs Benedict. The homemade aioli is exceptional).
Service was first class: our waitress was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. She made us feel like we were the only guests there.
We had excellent service. Presentation great. Food tasty.
A great meal. Food was excellent. Nice atmosphere.
Met my friend there for lunch. It's her favorite restaurant. We later realized that our lunch day was also the annual Old Worthington Market Day; an added bonus. We enjoyed the market and had a lovely lunch on the patio.
Mediocre food, fine service. Over priced.
The Worthington Inn is a great spot for a group, particularly clients. We come here often and receive excellent service in addition to a delicious meal. Highly recommended.
Flood was amazing. Seafood entrees were top notch . A bit pricey but worth it. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions.
Mother-in-law loves it, because it is quiet and you can "have a conversation." This is because no one else is there. Place was (and usually is) half-empty. Even the bar, the paragon of casual dining for the neighborhood was empty and quiet.
Service was poor; we had to ask about the specials for both the main course and dessert. No vintages are printed in the wine list. Menu hasn't changed in a while. Duck was horribly terribly overcooked; it wasn't as dry as jerky, but it was close.
There was a time recently when the WI had started touting farm-to-table and fresh and local, changing menu. Those times passed quickly. Not recommended.
Everything was wonderful! Still thinking about the shrimp appetizer on poblano grits. Love dining here.
Our waitress was sweet, but our food came out at a rapid rate - after waiting, our appetizer and salad and meal all came while we were still eating the other.
The gnochi had more vegetables than any other item - it was a like a bowl of veggies - The shrimp appetizer was amazing and the filet was good.
I have been here before, and really liked, and brought my friend but was disappointed.
Excellent food; good variety; best salmon meal ever!!! One Vegetarian option and one vegan option- if didn’t use buttermilk potatoes could be two vegan options which would be a huge advantage in Columbus area.
The food was amazing as always. The Ribeye special was cooked perfectly.
Absolutely delicious and a wonderful atmosphere. I cannot wait to go back.
The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. Nicely seasoned food. We will go back again.
Food was pretty good, but not amazing. Definitely overpriced for the quality we received.
Server very pleasant. Sometimes difficult to get his attention. Cheeseburger had to be redone..undercooked and then was not especially to liking. I had WI chicken salad which was tasty...would have preferred the nuts mixed in instead of separate. Poppyseed bread and regular bread and garlic butter really good. Birthday dessert very nice.
We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was nice and attentive. Food was excellent! We're looking forward to another visit in the near future.
Celebrated a 50th anniversary for my brother and sister-in-law with a delicious dinner, attentive service, and wonderful desserts. A time to remember...
Had the Steak frites: steak was very tough and not warm. Fries were also served lukewarm at best.
wanted to order a bottle of wine after our cocktails but didn’t see our waitress for a good long while. Looked like she was too busy with the patio. Other than that everything was lovely and the food exceptional.
The Worthington Inn is that special place to take out of town guests, to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or just to enjoy a lovely dinner with your spouse or loved one.
My husband was a big fan of our meal. I was more ambivalent. First visit, restaurant week menu. Cocktails and appetizer were very good, bread plentiful. Food was pretty good as was the dessert. Service was very good, exceeded expectations. We sat in the pub, but nice surroundings.
Very friendly staff that tried hard, and made the situation right in the end. We had reservations and were the only people in one of the dining rooms. They seated us under a staircase which was weird. There were much better tables that went unoccupied from 7:00 to 9:30 on a Friday. Craft beer priced at $8/bottle is out of line. They forget to put my wife's order in, and brought the rest of us our dinners. They did comp her main course and added a desert. That was nice. But overall the food and drinks are expensive and the value just isn't very good. Panzanella salad was average, steak frites was average. The Basque Cake desert was the best part of the meal (comped.) They need to step it up to keep pace with other restaurants in Columbus.
Great as always. Fantastic food in a historic setting.
Love the Inn. Food is delicious and service to match. Had the Blackout burger without the bun. The plate was overflowing with great food. The hamburger was cooked perfectly.
Normally my meals at the Inn are terrific...I just chose the wrong meal. Sooo, my bad. Not yours.
Four of us wanted a pleasant place for a bit of a reunion luncheon and, as usual, the Worthington Inn came through for us again. Each of us chose different and quite varied selections from the menu and we all were quite pleased. Our server was extremely pleasant and helpful. All in all, an exceptionally fine experience.
The Food at the Worthington Inn is Always GREAT! I was there a few weeks ago when a friend ordered the Veggie Burger and I just had to return and order it for myself. Well, it did not disappoint. Made In House - this Burger was AMAZING! I had it with House Made FF and they too were Excellent. So Happy that this Local place stays around and that the building is so well maintained.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary and very much enjoyed the service and the food was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and were able to setup a table for us on the patio. They had the nice gesture of bringing dessert and a couple of glasses of champagne on the house. Very satisfied.
It took too long to place our order and get the food. There were four of us and three were served, Fourth had to wait about five minutes for the salad. It was a busy lunch day. Food was very good.
Dinner was excellent. Really enjoy the oysters Rockefeller.
First time we have been here and we were not disappointed. Food and service were excellent. This is not a cheap place to eat however the craftsman put into the food make it worth the money
Our bar service was fantastic, but the waitress forgot things and lacked any personality. The food was very good.
