The food was good as always but they were out of so many things. Its my parents favorite restaurant and a natural choice for fathers day, but wish we had known everything they were out of up front so we didn't keep ordering things we couldn't get. I guess Sunday night is new and used to only be open for brunch, but the new hours aren't going to catch on if they're out of everything when you come in. It's usually very good, just frustrated that it was a special day that didn't go well.

Always love eating at The Worthington Inn. A little CRAZY on the Patio this visit with the kids out of school and the Honking at Graeters - A bit much but OK - Kids having FUN a GOOD WAY so No Complaining!!! We just talked in between HONGS! Then the Fire Engines roaring down the street. It was an eventful but FUN time on the Patio - Neighborhood dining at its Finest. WORTH the trip. Our Server was GREAT. Also, the Veggie Burger is one of the BEST in Town. I love the Northstar Burger but this one really does compete and may even Win as it can come with Fingerling Potatoes!

Celebrated my dad's 70th birthday and retirement here with a group of 6 adults. The food was good, but not spectacular. The service was poor. The hostess seemed annoyed to seat us. Our server was less than interested in checking on us. After 30 minutes of reviewing the menu, we had to ask what the specials were. There was only one type of fish on the menu (salmon), which surprised me. The server was also annoyed to take a group photo of us despite the restaurant being less than 1/2 full.
Overall, I felt that the service put a damper on the evening. I had chosen Worthington Inn over the Refectory, but I will not make that mistake in the future. It's too bad because I was hoping for a nice evening there.

From the start - I was not good - there’s was confusion with our waitress and then a second cane over and then she gave no attention, never brought bread, forgot extra dressing for salad - had to ask twice and restaurant was extremely hot. My colleague was sweating. Salad was blah and dry. Filet was under cooked.
Best part was the soda. Tuna appetizer was not good - Tuna over cooked and unimpressive.
Sad as I had heard good things. Was looking forward to a nice evening and was possibly one of the worst meals from service to food that I’ve had in a very long time.

Our server and Kelly the manager were wonderful. We had an amazing lunch and business meeting plus we celebrated a birthday. The birthday treat was yummy too; we all had a bite.
We will be back.

Sincerely, Diane

Although the restaurant has a beautiful setting and ambiance, we were disappointed with the food we received. The chef got our order wrong and the pasta and scallops dish my friend ordered was way too salty, it could not be eaten. The server did not charge us for the dish and offered us free dessert. But it was disappointing considering the price of the dish and the expectations we had for a great meal. I have been to the Worthington Inn for brunch and was pleased with the food then. Perhaps I simply am not a fan of the dinner menu. I will go back for brunch sometime though.

We got together to celebrate graduation. The dining room had a lot of interesting details from the light fixtures to the pictures and the cool wood floors. We enjoyed several appetizers before moving on to entrees. All were tasty and the cheesecake at the end was the perfect finish. Service was attentive but not overbearing. All in all, a terrific night out!

Wonderful place, separate rooms makes for a quiet setting, food presented well, and a good portion also. If you like the Refectory, you will like this setting as well.
Relaxed paced dining, good for groups or couples as well.

We celebrated our son’s graduation from OSU at this lovely historic inn in Old Worthington. The food was excellent and the service was superb. Loved the visit from the chef as we finished our dessert. Very classy, start to finish. FYI parking is a cinch in the public lot out back.

We had our wedding reception at The Worthington Inn 33 years ago so we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary here. Though it was special to be at the same venue we must say that the food was average at best, especially for the price and for their reputation. I had the special Red Snapper and my husband had the lasagna bolognese. It is a quaint restaurant. Bathrooms need to be remodeled. Dining chairs were nicked, old and dusty. Columbus has many great restaurants. This would not be my first choice.

The varied menu with vegetarian specific options was a plus. The wine choices were excellent. The steaks cooked as requested and were tender and tasty. Even the attention to the vegetables was appreciated. The Inn is a wonderful intimate setting, the fireplace was a welcome touch. And we were very well attended by the wait staff. In better weather the patio looks to be an inviting option as well.
We will certainly return.

The Worthington Inn has a wonderful historical elegance. The food offerings are upscale and delicious, but pricey. The dining area suffers from hard surfaces that make it quite noisy whenever boisterous groups are present, making conversations a bit difficult.

Menu is a little TOO basic - no veal, no lamb, no duck, etc. Wine list needs a lot of work. Mid-priced selections ($50 to $80) pretty sparse. I took a flier on a Cabernet that I didn't know, and it was pretty awful. What food was available, however, was very tasty. Shrimp and grits were terrific, and both steaks (and sides) were solid. Service was generally good, but our wine arrived five to ten minutes after our entrees. With the ambience and the quality of the food, it could be outstanding, but they need to work on the menu and on the wine list.

This was a friends night out. All of our meals were very good. From a dessert perspective, the cheesecake was amazing!! Very rich. Easily a dessert that is sharable. Our server was average. She was not particularly attentive. For example, when our server came to take our dinner order, we had to ask if there were any dinner specials. This is the first time that we have eaten here that we have not had a server "on top of their game," so to speak. Overall, we really enjoy the Worthington Inn, so will definitely be back again.

$ of us stopped in after church on Sunday April 8th for a 1:30pm reservation. We made reservations on Open Table that morning around 10:30 am. It was our first time dining at the Inn and were quite surprised by a wide array of both breakfast and lunch options. I ordered the Lights out burger, which was probably the best burger I have had in the last 6 months!

We (four of us) were there for lunch, getting there around 11 AM. I think there may have been other people eating in the bar, but I think we were the only people in the main restaurant. Talk about quiet! The food was exceptional -- the chicken noodle soup was spectacular as were the salmon salads. Perhaps the most impressive thing was the presentation of the food. By that I mean the chef made every dish a work of art -- it was so attractive you almost wanted to admire it rather than eat it. The service was perfect -- no errors, polite, empathetic to our needs

On the Wednesday evening the restaurant was very bare. It took awhile to be served drinks. We then ordered a cheese plate that was lacking a fair amount of cheese; it was mostly crackers, grapes and dried fruit. Our friend had to send her steak back two times because it needed further cooking. The server also forgot her side of grits. We ordered a bottle of wine to share part way through dinner but this also took awhile to be served. The food tasted decent but it wasn’t amazing and the lag in service made it less than desirable. My friend and I both had our leftovers boxed up to take home. The next morning I saw that they also gave us each other’s leftovers so I could not even eat the rest of my meal the following day. Disappointed...

Took my husband out for his birthday. It’s always good at the Worthington Inn from start to finish. Bruschetta appetizer to split between us is always tops! I had salmon with butternut squash risotto and my husband had the strip steak, which was tender and huge! Along with salads, Caesar for me and Chopped for him, we were too stuffed for dessert, sadly.
