We had the eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. They were both amazing! Sunday brunch was great. Interesting crowd. Very noisy but warm and the staff was pleasant.

I think this is my favorite restaurant in Portland. It's always delicious and the service is excellent.

We had reservations and after we were seated, it did take over 15 minutes for someone to take our beverage order. We had to flag someone down. The food was amazing.

Our waitress was excellent, friendly but not overly attentive. The menu was relatively small but excellent. Next time i go in, i am going to get the fried chicken or maybe the tower of seafood.

our meals were truly stellar. Eggs benedict (our table tried all 3 varieties) the best I have ever had. Bar service is pretty slow and it was disappointing when our meals arrived before the oysters on the half shell.

A friend had difficulty finding a satisfying vegetarian option – otherwise everything was quite good.

I am reluctant to rave any more about this place than I already do, for fear that it will become too popular and turn itself into that dreaded Portlandia "reservationless" brunch episode. But I'll take my chances and rave anyway: This place has the taste, talent and street cred to back up its foodie reputation as a local go-to, the stellar service to keep people coming back, and the laid back, five star style to remind even those from the West hills there are still reasons to venture beyond the river. Well done Woodsman! See you again soon!
