The Woods Jupiter
They take it advantage of the ambience which is outstanding like a classy sports bar. However the food we had was just mediocre… The fish tacos for example :the fish was not warm ..grouper was tough and no seasoning
The taco dough was cold not even baked through .
The Cole slaw? No flavor!
Cheese wasn’t melted on the flat bread
Been here many times the food quality is going downhill
We did not receive the excellent service that others said they had experienced in the online ratings. Our waitress seemed to disappear and when we asked a manager, that wanted to take our extra chair, it still took 3-5 minutes to get water, butter, and at least 5-6 minutes to bring salt and pepper. That was after we couldn’t find our waitress for a long time. Waitresses for other tables seemed to be attentive to their customers. We had one glass of wine that was suggested by waitress, but they could not produce a second glass because they were suddenly out of that one. Guess inventory control needs to be better controlled. I would give them a second chance, but for lunch, not dinner....
Menu has changed since December but that is to be expected. Lobster roll was not fresh. Onion soup was good. I’ll give it another try.
Oh dear. I have a good rating but really ... it took a full hour to receive our food order which was service Luke warm. The server and manager we spoke to was very nice but really guys? Took way tooo long to receive food that was toooo cool.
Good food, excellent service, reasonable prices, except a bit noisy!
It's a glorified sports bar with a limited menu.
The Woods is great.... young and vibrant..It is best to sit outside due to the noise level.
Our server was great but the bus boys may have been in training.
Overall everything was fun and we had a great evening.
Worst meal in a long time. Woods has gone complacent and it shows. Go elsewhere.
Our waiter was very slow - and needed to leave the table at any excuse - a beer and wine - gone for 10 minutes; brought back wine and left it on the table . . . 10 minutes comes back with beer . . . leaves table and then comes back and opens wine - we are ready to order and we verbally said it - gone again . . . . awful! Very frustrating
We go to The Woods often. I have not had a bad meal or bad service. Everyone is friendly and professional. I prefer a booth because it is quieter. I do find the TVs near the tables a distraction but I’m sure during a play off it would be welcome.
I love The Woods, and am a regular customer when I'm in Jupiter. On my last visit , however, I was disappointed that the portions of items I had ordered before, were somewhat smaller. Everything was delicious as always though.
Cool place. Not like any "sports bar" I've ever been to. The cocktail menu was reasonably priced but the food was definitely overpriced considering the entrees were a la carte (sides not included). I had a smoked old fashioned which was very good. We had calamari as an appetizer which was great and I ordered the fish tacos which came with fries. Only two tacos which came with very small pieces of fish. The Nike Golf apparel on the employees was a nice touch. I'm glad I went just to say I've been but I likely will not be returning unless someone else wants to check it out.
Everything was wonderful!!!! (Except all the loud delivery trucks right next to outdoor seating)
Did not enjoy my experience here. Not great service, not great drinks, not great food and expensive
The Woods is really a good place, only drawback would be the noise. If you’re in the bar area forget about having a conversation. Just a little tough to hear. Food is good and service was also good
Our experience was good over all. Noise was awful could not have a conversation unless we screamed. We were happy with our meal and the wine was fairly priced . Not going to rush back because of noise level .
Loved the food and service, but it’s a bit noisy.
Staying in Jupiter took our adult children for dinner total party of 5. This is our 3rd or 4th time do I g here. Love the ambiance, service is always good.
We had one problem Pork chop and Lollipop lamb chops both arrived undercooked. Both were sent back pork chop was perfect lamb still not cooked enough? My husband returned lamb.. Their service recovery for this failure was excellent server responded immediately and involved manager, who offered replacement of meal etc.
We were comped several desserts ( all delicious) and it saved the meal! We will be back!!!
It’s just overpriced. The $22plate of pasta I ordered was worth $11 at Olive Garden. The server was good and attentive. It was disappointing
Disappointed. Overpriced, below average food and incredibly poor service. We went got lunch.
I don’t eat dairy. I ordered a beet salad (without cheese and walnuts). Plate was half the amount of my daughter’s of the same salad although she did have the cheese. Then I ordered fish tacos. Incredibly, I only got 2 bites of fish with nothing else in the taco. The worst fish taco I’ve ever eaten. My mother received her side of vegetables after dessert. We had a scatterbrained waitress and slow slow service. Adding to the lousy experience, the place was freezing cold.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. None of us will ever go back.
Outstanding food and service made The Woods a real asset in an important business lunch meeting
Enjoyed our entire experience, food service, ambiance. Staff was very professional. We would definitely go back
The food was not good. 4 of the 6 people said they would never return. For $150 per person it was not acceptable.
Steaks were not prepared as ordered. Will strongly advise folks to go elsewhere.
Salads were good.
It took 1 1/2 hours on a Monday night to get our food. The restaurant was busy but certainly not full. The food was served with nothing on the plate but what was ordered. The ribs were just ribs. The salmon was just salmon. Not a very nice presentation. Obviously they did not have enough kitchen staff. It appears they are cutting costs. It is pricey for what you get. We had our last meal there! We will not be back.
It just was to unfriendly when we walked in from the front of house. I was treated as if they where doing me a favor by letting me be there. I had to ask for ketchup 3 times my fries where cold when I got it..... we ordered some items from the gift closet and had to wait 20 minutes and ask another worker about it. Finally we left without the items... BUT I did have an incredible martini and the girl at the bar was very nice and personable and she was VERY busy!
We sat outside where there is no ambiance at all. My husband had the Bronzino fish special which had more potatoes than fish and I had the ribs which had to be pulled off of the bones instead of “fall off the bones”. The beet salad which we shared ($14) was a bunch of Arugala with a few cubed beets on top - nothing more. Our water glasses were never refilled. We have been here before but we won’t go back. The prices aren’t outrageous but you don’t get good value for your money.
Our overall experience was good, we ordered somthing like Tuna Tataki as entrance, it was delicious but very samll portion.
I thought we were having Sunday Brunch but they discontinued it. I’m disappointed because I was looking forward to a different menu.
Excellent service and food. The atmosphere was laid back for a Sunday afternoon and accommodated the golf enthusiasts as an added bonus.
I would highly recommend this establishment for it's amazing Happy Hour menu and staff. They're all extremely friendly and professional and deserve high praise.
Good food. Kitchen is slow. Very noisy.
Nice staff but very slow.
We were one of three tables on patio, not crowded. We waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by waiter and offered drink orders.
Also confusing is the drink menu and happy hour menu are on same menu. No hours are specific for happy hour so it’s very confusing.
Is it really that hard to print a cocktail menu and a separate happy hour menu? Or include days and times for happy hour on the menu?
Little things but annoying.
Food was ok. Pricey for what it is. We also had no idea that we booked resi for mall restaurant, not a plus for us.
This used to be my go to place for a birthday or special day to treat someone. They have changed the menu and no longer even offer lobster tails with a steak. I found that they have removed other things that are on the menu like sautéed spinach. Was very disappointed and our server had said we were not alone and no matter what customers say they do what they want and are losing many regulars like myself. Too bad but there are so many other great restaurants in the area I will not be going back.
Didn’t like the outside seating
I loved the cucumber cocktail! And the snapper was excellent.
Perfect except Tiger wasn’t there. Great place to go!
More like a sports bar than a restaurant, very noisy but the steak was good. Sides a bit weak and the coke from the draft tasted like bleach! Cans or bottles of coke/Pepsi desperately needed!
It was an extremely busy night and the noise level where we were seated near the bar was very loud.
Still a great place to eat.
Great food, service, location and a beautiful restaurant
