It’s always very very cold. Air conditioning fan full blast . It’s like I know if I’m coming to wooden Nickel it will be freezing . Such a shame cause the bar area is the perfect place to meet friends…. . The staff is 5 stars all the way…. The drinks are great. The food could use some tweaking … like stuffed shrimp too much breading… I know there is no perfection. Your staff treats each of us with so much professionalism, kindness, and warmth. I guess that’s what makes The Wooden Nickel a hidden treasure.

Everything at The Wooden Nickel was great. However, the service was outstanding. We started with cocktails: a cinnamon toast crunch martini and salted caramel apple mule, which were both like desserts. We enjoyed the Ma! The Meatloaf and Capo dei Capi Chicken as entrees. The presentation of the meatloaf was especially nice. It tasted as good as it looked. All of the flavors melded together nicely from the jalapeño cheese bread to the whipped potatoes and bacon wrapped meatloaf with crunchy onion rings and a hint of barbecue sauce. The chicken was also tasty. We got so much to eat that we didn’t have room for dessert. We look forward to returning.

Hostess was very welcoming. Food was very good. Second time here and not dissapointed. The chef Is always concerned about the steak preparations, to make sure the customer is happy, so that commendable. Had filets, perfectly cooked. Would recommend.

Was there for a sister's dinner. Vicky was our waitress and she was very very nice. We were there for quite a while and did not feel rushed. The food was excellent.

Vicki was my server and did a fabulous job! She was knowledgeable about the menu, personable, and fun to be around. Food was outstanding and I recommend getting the 8oz filet mignon! Thank you again Vicki!!

We moved to the area and are trying new places. It was a good deal for the food, but felt like an old cruise ship inside. Or like the gateway clipper. Old fake flowers, wallpaper. Seemed more like an event/catering place and I imagine that sides are all in a big warming tray - they were cold. Everything was very salty.
