   We enjoy going to the Wishing Well for special occasions. The food is excellent, as are the drinks, which are creative and unique. The service is fantastic, attentive, and friendly.

   We were greeted warmly from the time we entered the restaurant to the time we left. The owner was very cordial and had some reflections on the past when I brought up the fact that we hadn't been to the restaurant since the about the time Woody Stephens had been there. All four of us at the table were raving about our meals. I personally had the duck, but everyone was extremely pleased with their meals. The waitress was wonderful and attentive, plus, knew how to roll with our sense of humor. When we return to Saratoga we'll make a point of going back to the Wishing Well. It was an oustanding dining experience.

   Excellent dinner. My lobster tasted like I was sitting in Maine eating fresh catch. Rib was delicious. Ambiance was very romantic. We went on Valentines Day. We will return.

    Food was good and atmosphere was great…loved live piano music/performer. Service was poor…told we’d be brought bread and never received, had our drinks for 20 min before our food order was taken, was never checked on and water glasses remained empty for 40 min during dinner. A bit disappointed given it was our valentines dinner and pricing was that of a high end establishment.

    This is our special date night place for my wife and I/. We love the restaurant, people and ambiance. Service was pretty good, a couple minor hiccups but nothing worth reporting as it was overall pretty good. Food, they appear to have changed the receipt for th crab cake, which had a little less flavor/spice this time around. It was still really good, but not quite knock your socks off great like it use to be. The filet was very good, but there was too much gravy on the plate, which was a bit of an annoyance, but the food was very good and cooked exactly as I asked for it. The Delmonico was cooked to perfection and so full of flavor and seasoning and super tender. The steak was a bit fatty, more so than a normal Delmonico, but that sometimes happens and isn’t the restaurants fault. They had a new piano player/singer and he was awesome! We ended up staying at the bar for drinks after our meal to enjoy the music and environment. It was a great date night overall! We will be back to visit again soon.

    We went to celebrate my daughters 9th birthday. The staff was amazing and made her feel so special. The piano player played a special song for her and the staff sang her happy birthday. Great food and great overall time. Go there now!!!

    New Years Eve at the Wishing well was by far the best NYE experience we’ve ever had. We arrived a little early to have a before dinner drink. Even though the restaurant was very busy we were able to get a drink quickly. We were seated on time. The service and food were excellent. I would highly recommend the Wishing Well for a great dining experience.

    New Years Eve dinner. We had a great table, attentive and experienced waitress. The place was busy but we were neither rushed or neglected, good pacing. Dinner was very good, no complaints at all.

    Service was friendly and fast. I’ll start with the app. Ordered the seafood chowder. Super salty and more like a paste. Ordered the prime rib. Wanted it between medium rare and medium. It came out undercooked. Beyond rare. The server assured us the meat was correct when it was painfully obvious it wasn’t. Dessert. I was told verbally by the server that they had a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. I was served a chocolate hazelnut cheesecake. I’m not sure if the server had an off night or the kitchen did. Either way it was not worth the 200 dollar bill at all. Especially on NYE. Disappointed especially since the previous year we had a great experience there.

    the food is alway exceptional at the wishing well, I had the monkshood medallions, a special, and it was superb, rich and fresh, I only wish that they served small plates as I would have loved to also get the lamb which was my original intention! Cocktails were delicious and dessert==coconut cream pie== was out of this world!! I love this restaurant and staff are always so courteous and friendly even when they are swamped

    As we expected, everything was perfect. Had the best table in the restaurant, and each of our entrees were on point. Service was efficient and pleasant. It’s one of those restaurants that just never had a bad night.
