It was great to be back. It had been too long. The only thing that would have made it better would to have had my wife with me. I was on a business trip and couldn't resist.

We have been to WineSellar & Brasserie several times over the years but decided to try their five course tasting menu. It was excellent and well worth it.

This was our first time eating here and we will be back. Everything was better than expected with attention to detail at every level...food prepared expertly, wine served at correct temp, sommelier was helpful and advised us on the best wine. This is the place to go for a great evening and dining experience.

You should be ashamed & fined for not having an ADA-accessible elevator. Until you do, I will contact the local ADA chapter.

I always enjoy The Winesellar. Such a cool place to browse for some great and hard to find wines. Best business lunch place in town as far as I'm concerned. The Blue Nose Sea Bass with the Celery Root puree is to die for!

This review is for a dinner at the Brasserie restaurant. We had the Mushroom Toast, Hamachi Crudo, Portobello Salad, Prime Short Rib, and an Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. The chef's play with taste and flavors was awesome. Everything was excellent—from food and service to parking. Menu selection is great—makes us want to try everything.

For wine lovers out there, the restaurant has an extensive wine list, and there is a wine store downstairs you can buy wine from for your dinner. The cork fee is very reasonable. When dining out, my biggest pet peeve is chemical smell in the wine glasses (from dishwashing)—it affects the nose big time. Here, the glasses don't have the bad chemical smell.

Staff was friendly and professional. We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately our entrees were not prepared as ordered and were not good. I ordered the rack of lamb and said that I like it “very pink but not bloody”. This usually means ~medium rare. It arrived totally brown and dry...very, very well done! My companion ordered his salmon cooked with “the skin and underlying gray” removed in the kitchen. This was not done and it was served with both!

The management was very fair and gave us a substantial credit off our bill. Nevertheless, with so many excellent restaurants in the area, we’ll probably not return soon..

As an aside, the restaurant and restrooms are dated and worn. The restaurant badly needs updating!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner with both of us selecting the Rack of Lamb for our entree. It was excellent along with the very tasty potatoes served with it. We started with salads - a warm portobello and greens and a blue cheese with a variety of greens - both were really fresh and delicious! A great evening. We always have excellent service and attention to detail on all our meals here.

Took our small office for a special luncheon. Service was slow or s l o w e r. Food was good to meh. Most of our guests liked their selections, one raved about the salmon. Another ordered the lamb salad - a signature dish. There was so little lamb served that we thought $16 for lettuce was pretty pricy. We've been here a number of times, but after this visit we won't be too quick to return

I hadn't been to the WineSeller & Brasserie in many years but was meeting a client that worked close by and it did not disappoint! The Hamachi app was absolutely delicious. I could have ordered several of these and called it a day! Great service and what I would call a hidden gem in the area. I haven't tried to newer casual side yet but plan to come back soon!

The butternut squash soup was bland, the chocolate tart looked and tasted like a regular brownie.
I had to tell the waiter and prove to him on the website that as a wine locker renter I was to receive 10%off the food bill.
Very disappointed in the service.

We try to dine here every time we are in San Diego. This a true gem hidden in an industrial park. Superb menu with a French emphasis and and no pretensions about being avant garde and edgy. The staff is gracious and attentive without being overbearing. The Duck Confit is the best we've had anywhere so we recommend it highly. Oh and the bar makes a terrific Vesper Martini. Well worth taking the effort to find it, and we are grateful to our friends who tipped us off about it.
