Everything from the service, food, and the atmosphere was outstanding!! Love you all!
Food was good and plenty for all! All had a great time.
Everything was perfect! The service, the food, and ambience. From the reserved seating to the thoughtful anniversary themed dessert at the end. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening. Will be back soon!
The only complaint I have this time was that we were seated pretty closely to other parties on each side when there were lots of empty tables. I’m sure there was a good reason though so I wasn’t upset or anything.
We enjoyed the food, service & ambiance. I’ve been there several times & will keep on going.
The nicest people and most delicious food. They give you a night out to remember. Can’t say enough good things about them. We have always enjoyed our visits. They make you feel like family🍷
Limited menu. For the price, I’d rather be at Mastro’s, or Ruth’s Chris, or Morton’s. Two Filet Mignons were each cooked poorly, sent back and came back still cooked incorrectly. Not going back.
Everything was excellent and employees very friendly and attentive
Great service and food. Wonderful place for a business lunch and evening dinners
First, I’ve always been a huge fan of the Newport Beach location. The servers have been always well trained and the mangers have been very present with guests and their staff.
That being said, I did not enjoy my experience at the Tustin location on several levels. One, I requested a full booth. That’s one of the reasons I select a restaurant- comfort. One was not available at Checkin, no problem; however, three booths finished within minutes of our arrival so I asked the hostess to look into moving us to a booth. There were four open. She promised to look into it, but commented that they were fully committed, I get that. The 4 booths near us remained empty until we were about to leave. Not cool. I prefer to dine in a booth.
The restaurant was warm for an expensive venue like this. For $350 meal, I expect to be comfortable while dining. Not good. I was uncomfortable on multiple levels.
The smoked trout dip was the worst I’ve ever had. The bread that came with it was hard as a rock. The salads were very good with ample portions. The filet was DRY and flavorless. Bad job guys. It tasted like it had been unfrozen in haste. The chocolate cake dessert was excellent. FOOD 3-star with PRICE $$$$ makes this place a POOR VALUE.
SERVICE: very nice, polite, extremely well trained staff spread to thin to give you the attention you deserve at their price point. They were running around fast to get the job done. I get it’s a tough market out there for hiring but this place gets top tips.
I know they can do better. Fail me once, your bad. Fail me twice, my bad. I won’t be back for a long time.
The food was fantastic! And the service was great too
There's no better lunch experience. My server Jenn was on top of everything. Made sure I had what I needed, made suggestions to better suit the type of drinks I was having and made sure everything was in perfect order. The Bartender Sarah, even made sure ti make rounds to make sure I was enjoying everything and made sure everything was to my liking. You will not be disappointed by the level service you receive at this restaurant. I HIGHLY suggest it for business meetings and collaborations, as this team will make sure everything is in order while you conduct the business of the day. You MUST try this place for lunch!
As always , service was great, the food was delicious.
Unfortunately, the food was well overpriced for the quality. The starters were decent but both main courses were dismal at best. When you pay almost $300 for two people, everything should be exceptional. First and last time at this establishment.
The Winery is an exceptionally nice restaurant!
The food and service was impeccable.
The atmosphere is elegant but comfortable. My server was Alexis was the best and handled my difficult party with extreme patience and professionalism. I would recommend the Winery to everyone!
It was an amazing experience cant wait to do it again
With reservations and the place empty they sat us by the entrance. There for fathers days and my dads entree was about 25 mins late. My steak ordered rare was well done sent it back and still only medium rare. Then one of the servers as we were finishing up told someone in my group that they needed the table in 15 mins. Mind you we were there at 2:30. No one in the dining room and dropped at least 1k on lunch!
Without a doubt, the food was absolutely excellent - everything was extremely
well presented by our server who gave outstanding service - she was always
nearby for us and always had a nice friendly smile.
On entering, we were happily greeted by the hostess and found the restaurant
appearance excellent, definitely upscale and well defined.
I had visited here twice before when the restaurant first opened and found nothing
had change - it is still a great restaurant.
By far the worst experience at this restaurant. After visiting several times over the last few months, despite declining service, I gave The Winery another shot last night. However, the Lobster Risotto was not good. The linguini was not good. The service was worst. I had to ask busboys to get the check because our server would not ask how food was except for when it arrived (as if we had a chance to taste it yet). By the time we got someone's attention, the food was cold, and it wasn't worth asking for something else. The biggest disappointment was the calamari - I come back for the calamari. I often praise the calamari to others, and the last two visits were an indication, The Winery has given up.
Since covid we were afraid that quality or service would suffer but we were pleased with everything. It's better than ever! We're booking another reservation in 10 days for a birthday but there will be 4 in the party. You know that the company cares about their employees when you see the same people there after all the time off from covid.
Our table ordered seabass, ribeye & lamb shank which were all great.
From start to finish, this was an amazing dining experience! William makes sure that you'll want for nothing in this fully stocked winery fit for all levels. If you're an inexperienced wine drinker, William will help you on your way to discover the best wine for you, unlike other "nose in the air" type of restaurants that only want to serve you over priced, cheap supermarket wines. I was lucky enough to sit at a chef's table, where you can see the chef meticulously at work with his supportive crew, as they crafted dish after dish. Everything freshly made and artfully crafted/decorated, then delivered immediately to your table. You can see and feel it was something made especially for you and not mass produced from frozen, or pre-prepped products. Simply the best!! Our waiter Giovanni was great! He had a lot of wonderful suggestions for our first time here...including the cigar bar! People love this place so much, they have wine lockers for those guests who truly want to enjoy their wines throughout the year with the ever changing and amazing menu of food here. Try this place once and you'll be back for more! I even heard they have special, reservation only dinner event nights and wine sales from wineries that come to offer you great, direct deals! Definitely made sure to drop my email address to this restaurant. Can't wait to go back for more.
Best bartender and servers.
Excellent food and service. Manager, host, servers all very pleasant. Whole experience 5 stars
My sister and I took our parents for dinner to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary and everything was top notch! Our waiter was friendly, professional and very attentive. The manager came to check on us several times and even treated us to a champagne toast and a delicious dessert for my parents special occasion! The food was delicious and the wine selection was lovely! Was truly a wonderful experience!
Good location, easy to find.
Nice service, super people.
Delicious food, enough choices.
Great place to get together with friends and family!
Outstanding in every way! Service, quality, ambience...all top notch!
Me and my fiancé loved it! First time coming here and it definitely did not disappoint at all! Had the 8oz steak and macaroni and cheese, and it was AWESOME!!!!! 5/5 would totally recommend to anyone looking for a special night out.
Service was excellent! Couldn’t have been better. It was pricey, so definitely will only go back occasionally.
Great place, beyond our expectations.
First time there and I took my girlfriend for her birthday! We loved it, sat outside next to a big group who were really loud but other than that the service and food was great. I wrote a special request in my reservation and our waiter and the staff delivered making it an even better experience! Definitely coming back for food, the wine and most importantly the service.
The food was great! Frustrating that it took over an hour for our food to come.
First time visiting and overall experience was amazing, our server was well respected at timely manners, we didn’t feel rushed at all, it is a definite win and I will be enjoying the Caymus there again for sure.
Server wasn’t attentive. Several support staff offered assistance but not the server. Appetizer and entre timing was too far apart.
Fantastic dining experience. Excellent and friendly service. Food was amazing. This is my "go-to" place from now on.
We had eaten there before and thought it was very good but last Friday night wasn’t as good. The food was fine but we asked for bread and there was a charge of $6.00. Extra butter was additional $3.00. With entrees over $30.00 and 6 of us with drinks we thought that was pretty chintzy.
Excellent food, beautiful environment for a romantic meal.
Excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommend the jumbo shrip and crab cobb salad
The waitress didn’t seem to be engaged with the food orders
There’s was a “big “ party that ordered in front - waited at least 45 minutes for the main course after the starter had ended. The Big order was explained to us by many staff members which was nice -upon arrival the side order was not there -
