We look forward to exploring great wine and food with you soon...
The restaurant stayed open Saturday night in spite of numerous cancellations. For that alone they get 5 stars. We enjoy their fine food, the ambience and, of course, their various wines. We have gone back multiple times and always ask for gift cards for Xmas and birthdays which should indicate how we feel about the restaurant. A great place for a relaxing and very nice dinner and drinks.
We love Wine Bistro and always have a great experience.
Try appetizers as a meal: starting with lettuce wraps and finishing with the crab cakes. This makes one of my favorite meals.
Everything was great! We had a fun time. Julie, our server was everything that we could wish for.
Louder than we remember it being
Service wasn’t timely or overly friendly
Food was ok
Didn’t live up to their usual standard
It’s usually one of our favorites
We had a great time celebrating a belated Valentine’s Day.
I was served rubbery crunchy hard to cut undercooked chicken (Saltembucca?). I forced the first edge bite down but the second bite activated my gag reflex. My wife checked it as well and agreed the chicken was wrong. I told the waiter who took the plate away, apologized and asked what to replace it with then immediately suggested the braised beef.
I accepted thinking that is something that is ready to plate with little prep, I wont have to wait and will not add more work for the kitchen and would serve as a reasonable apology by the restaurant serving me improperly prepared chicken.
When checking out the bill included the bad plate and the the replacement place which is $10 more expensive. I thought this odd. Usually there is some sort of comp for a poor experience, not an additional expense included in the tab.
The waiter did drop the charge for the bad plate but In the end I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and a bigger bill than i had originally expected.
We are somewhat regular patrons of the Worthington Wine Bistro. But this experience will give me pause when considering options next time...
And, I was a bit miffed and took the extra $10 charge out of the waiters tip. I realize he may have been acting on management’s orders, but it was the only recourse I saw open to me in the heat of the moment. If he was acting on mgmt orders, well, they’ve lost a patron.
Always wonderful! Thanks Dejan for another terrific dinner. And Kamnik! Such wonderful wine! We'll be back soon.
Food was delicious. And the atmosphere is lovely and cozy. Unfortunately our server was not particularly interested in waiting on us. She was aloof and very slow with service. No one should have to wait such a long time for a house glass of wine. We waited as long as we could before approaching her chatting at the bar. She was unapologetic.....not an attitude I'd want in my restaurant!
We were celebrating with another couple we had met a year earlier at a wine tasting. This event created a great friendship and we toasted to our one year anniversary. The server was thrilled to share in our celebration and provided free deserts to us! #BestWine #BestFriends 🍷
WB Worthington is our favorite location. The staff are friendly and attentive, and know their wines very well. A specific call-out to Dan, the GM, and Amy, Nick, Kelsey, and Courtney, they are terrific.
I love the ambiance, lowly lit but not so much that you need your phone camera lol. The restaurant has an old world feel with the decor arranged around the wines. It is quiet during the week but louder around the typical dinner hours, especially Friday and Saturday.
The menu is diverse and accommodates vegetarians and pescatarians, however there are no gluten free options. Perhaps that will change. My favorites are the rustic tomato basil bisque, hummus trio, and the flatbreads.
Additional info:
- There is a private dining area in the restaurant that sits 12 (the taste room)
- Next door is the Reserve room for up to 40 guests
- WB reservations are made through Open Table, so points
Flatbreads were huge and tasted amazing. Wait staff super helpful in choosing a wine that both of us could enjoy!
Very enjoyable. Service excellent. Our meal was very good. Will go there again soon!
One of our favorites, se always enjoy the experience. The staff is fantastic!
Food and Service were fantastic, as well as the wine selection. Great venue!
So much fun! Always
Quaint place excellent Orange salmon ... met to celebrate a friends birthday... truly enjoyed our time.
Our waitress Kelcee (sp) was so accomodating and we found a perfect wine pairing. Lovely evening.
Food and service were excellent.
Only complaint is the chairs we sat on were not comfortable
for short people like myself!
But we had a great evening, the wines and the food were
delicious.
First time at this location, we will be back!
Food was delicious, wine tastes great, service was on point!
We had a great meal on Saturday - good food, great service, nice wine selection and a good price point! We will definitely go back.
Everyone was very friendly
A delightful way to have dinner on New Year's Eve. Our waitress was superb. I enjoyed the "Around the World" wine flight. Fun time.
Food and service were good. The staff are attentive and kind. The veal meatball is delicious. We ordered a couple flatbreads. Someone accidentally brought me the wrong flatbread but they fixed it before I even noticed. My husband was a bit disappointed with his flatbread because it barely had any steak but overrun with figs. Otherwise was good. The chocolate custard dessert was more like a ganache and not as fluffy as we thought it might be. Overall, Wine Bistro is a nice gathering place for friends and family.
Loved it as always.
Great drinks, everyone’s food was fantastic
My mom, daughter-in-law and I love the Wine Bistro in Worthington. This is a great night out for us to bond and enjoy. We are never rushed out just a great time and the food is very good. This is our go to place before we are off to the Eclipse Theatre. So we have good food and great theatre. Life can't get any better. We love the Wine Bistro.
The table was only ready for 10 seats even though my reservation was made for 12. We had to seek the server to order food and additional drinks. Food was good but they were not prepared for our visit.
Service was terrible. We had to track someone down to take our order every time we needed something.
No longer the value it used to be. Portions becoming increasingly smaller with no change in price. Really enjoy the food. Will try one of the other locations in the future.
Great Food, great atmosphere!
The Baked Brie and Fettucini alle Mare were excellent. The Key Lime dessert was perfection in a glass. And the Moscato wine was as good as any I have tasted.
It was our first time there and it was a great experience! It was the perfect place for a romantic date.
Restaurant was not busy at time of dining. Had plenty of waiter attention and lots of space to ourselves. Food was delicious. We all chose the Blank and Blank for lunch. We had a variety of salads, soups, and sandwiches. We also shared bread pudding and apple crisp. Apple crisp was amazing!
We got there early and sat at the bar. The restaurant was visually appealing and held a lot of promise.
She had the flatbread and had the shrimp and risotto, which was very good.
I tried a sweet wine flight and a port wine flight which was a delight (no rhyme intended).
The service was attentive, but not intrusive.
All in all, a pleasant experience which merits a return visit!
Awesome food, staff and ambiance. Great place for gatherings and not loud!
Server was not attentive at all. I had to get up find her for help. Second time I had a bad experience at this location. The upper Arlington one is far superior.
I was the first of our party to arrive, water was brought while I waited and main menu. The rest of my party arrived, two other tables were seated. Our drink order was 3rd to be taken/delivered. Although there were 2 staff members in the front of the house, only one was actually working. For a lunch rush, it was over 90 minutes. Had we been required to return to work promptly, we wouldn't have made it...
Went for Happy Hour. Had to ask for Happy Hour menu, brought one, there were three of us. Not offered another drink before end of happy hour. The place was pretty empty but we felt rushed out.
Always good food and nice selection of wines.
Always a great place to celebrate. Food is always great and so is the service.
