We had a wonderful celebration together. Everything was special including the personal dessert presentation.
The presentations of most of the dishes we ordered were stunning with artfully arranged sauces and details. We took more food pictures than usual. Service was good until the restaurant filled up and then slowed down to a crawl. Most of our dishes were delicious, but the fish special looked better than it tasted - 5 star appearance, bland taste. The first dessert on the menu, the fancifully named Creakamus River Rock or something like that, was a gorgeous plate with blueberry sorbet, a kind of chocolate pudding, and all kinds of small details that looked like a picture from a natural setting.
Great menu! Superb food! Amazing service! Save room for dessert!
Everything was just memorable
Loved this restaurant - super setting and great food and service.
Server was amazing
Excellent food. Large and quite busy restaurant, as you'd expect in a big hotel. The hotel bar/ lobby was just next door so there was quite a lot of noise. The food was surprisingly good and the kids buffet was a huge hit
Great place, exquisite food, we tríed Bison cooked to perfection. Audrey our Server did an excelent job making sure we got all we need and wanted.
We expected for from a Fairmont Restaurant. We took the spring Menu, but main courses where not good. Food was not tasty. We complained about it and they told us it was a new menú not tested but in spite we left food they charged.
Good things to say. There is a great children buffet. The place is nice and the enviroment pleasant.
Tomato appetizer good
Desert (fix menu) average—rubrarb
Entree of rabbit (fix menu) was poor - very salty prosciutto wrap and meat not cooked thoroughly/tender. My husband I left most of it. We gave the feedback to staff to inform chef. Suggest striking from menu
Staff were friendly, courteous. Room pleasant
Lo mejor el fondue de chocolate
Another great meal! Great service from Mack
Celebrating our Whistler vacation. The food was very good but two of us agreed that our dishes were too salty. The fish was just a tad over done. Overall it was a nice experience.
Wonderful service, food was excellent
We love dining at The Wildflower during our visits to Whistler. The new menu with some classics incorporated in was refreshing and we enjoyed trying new dishes. The children’s menu is always fabulous! Service was good and the dining room is quiet but family friendly.
W O N D E R F U L In ALL RESPECTS
Excellent service from the time we pulled up til we left.
Delicious dinner and excellent se
Always great to eat here. Lovely food and great ambience.
Wonderful food, but restaurant was understaffed with servers. Our server was terrific, but she had way too many tables. People spent $100 or more each for dinner and weren’t getting the service they deserved. It wasn’t so bad for us because we were there fairly early. I am sure others suffered.
This restaurant has en excelent chef. Congratulations, the food was excellent and that a big compliment coming from a former food critic. Fantastic evening!
What could have been better was the service. They didn’t know much about what they were serving.
Management is understaffing the restaurant that works hard to provide a good dining experience. Talk with management demonstrates need to replace or retrain bit fundamentals of the restaurant are good.
Delicious food and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant.
beautiful room. reasonably priced (for Whistler). excellent food and wine list.
Great dinner and our server Katie was awesome! Would give 5* and would recommend to others!
Food and ambiance great. Service was at high speed, barely finished our salads and entrees were being delivered could have been in and out in an hour. Not the service expected from a Fairmont hotel restaurant.
My group was just underwhelmed. There were so many misses in the front (host and waiter), suggesting that someone should review the management. A well run restaurant should not need waiters "auctioning" the dishes ("who ordered the chicken" etc), bringing out multiple courses at once, room temperature white wine, and staff that appears so totally freaked out that it is difficult to relax. The wine list is a serious profit center, with too little consideration of value. If you are staying in the hotel and don't want to leave, perhaps just lower your expectations and eat in the bar.
Great food and attentive service. Great steaks and their seafood specials were delicious!
We love the wildflower but the duck leg was sparse and then I ordered ice cream for dessert and was given a kids ice cream with sprinkles on it ... I am 43 and my 9 yr old was given an adult brownie dessert - mix up which server was aware of but didn't sort out. Normally service outstanding. Husband had lamb shank and was fantastic. Would be good if they could have a more treasonable selection of wine with some better price points.
I went to Wildflower with my husband and 4 of our closest friends. We were in town for a skiing vacation and needed a place for 6 for dinner. The service was outstanding. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within a minute. The waiter was fantastic: attentive, knowledgeable and he had a wonderful demeanor. He made our meal more enjoyable. The food was fantastic and everyone found something on the menu. I had a delicious cocktail and my friends enjoyed a bottle of wine.
Wonderful ambiance, perfect for a romantic dinner. Food was a tad on the salty side but otherwise delicious and fresh. Service was impeccable.
This was not "Hotel" food ! As a very frequent traveler I tend to avoid hotel restaurants. The Wildflower is an exception . It will be on my list every time I visit Whistler!
My boyfriend and I recently dined at the Wildflower in Whistler. The space was beautiful and cozy. We ordered the carpaccio to start while my boyfriend had the bison as his main (as per the hostess’ recommendation) and I had the ling cod. Our mains came before our starter but that wasn’t a huge bother, though unexpected. The “roasted” ling cod was moist but lacked a crispy finish (as I would expect) and was overall underwhelming in flavour. The bison was nice and tender but the lumberjack fries were mediocre potato wedges with what seemed to be a small amount of boiled broccoli. Our meals were followed by the carpaccio which was nice but lacked an acidity. Service was impeccable and our server was lovely. Wine was also nice.
Wonderful environment and friendly service! We dined there a few times and enjoyed everything!
Food, view and the service were incredible. Excellent place for dinner.
Awesome meal. Beautiful setting. Less expensive than other places in Whistler for a better meal.
Great place for a celebratory dinner for 4 adults and 4 kids, ages 3-10!
A fabulous meal and the service was equally as impressive!
Two of us had a shared dinner for two after a full day on the slopes. It was a good value, tasted great and quite satisfying. It was reasonably priced and quite relaxing in a very nice setting.
We enjoyed our last dinner while visiting Whistler/Blackcomb at the Wildflower. Everything was great. There are good Vegetarian options which is not always easy to find in Whistler. Highly recommended.
