   Our server Haley was fantastic and her cheerfulness contagious. Both the short ribs with potatoes and the fresh fish of the day (ling cod) were perfectly prepared and delicious. Artichoke potato soup was also excellent. We brought wine; I believe corkage was $35CA. All in all, we had a wonderful meal.

   Had a great dinner and night out for the SOs birthday, The Wildflower lived up to its reputation in every way. Our server was fantastic and left us wanting for nothing, the food was delicious and the staff were more than accommodating throughout the experience. If you're reading this and on the fence, come here for dinner, you won't regret it. Thanks to the all involved for a fantastic evening.

   We did the Spring Special for $49 at The Wildflower and it was outstanding. One of the best meals I've ever had. Everything tasted delicious and was nicely presented. The service was great too.

   The food was great but for $85 a head, I was expecting more selection like crab legs or some sort of lobster. We were seated at 1:33 and at 1:57 as I was finishing my first plate, were told that the buffet would be closing at 2:15. I really thought this was extremely poor taste considering we only sat down 30 mins earlier. I really felt rushed to get some more food as fast as possible. By 2:15 even the fruit selection was taken away. The food should have stayed out until at least 2:30 as there were still half a dozen tables still occupied.

   Food: it's buffet. Variety is good. Beef was mediocre. Overly done with barely any flavor. Lamb was good, medium rare with good flavor. Beet salad greens was mediocre as well. Could have been fresher. Seafood was ok. Service: We were a group of 7 with 4 children under 12. Upon booking (1 mo ahead), we have requested to keep other table, if divided into 2 closer so as to ensure that we keep our kids on track. Checked in the day of, we were totally told by host, they can't do anything. Hostess was asked of empty tables beside us to be swapped with our kids' table which were on the other side of the post, to no avail. There were 5 other empty tables beside ours. All by 4s. Finally, we had to request for the manager, and we had our children moved. Our server Maxine was fabulous. Very lively and very attentive. Was always in the look out for our needs and cleared up our tables as needed.

   We were early, the service was very friendly and excellent as well as attentive by our male waiter, whom I think might have been Italian. The food was adequate. We had the seafood chowder. I understand the chicken was good but the Rockfish that I had came laid out over a giant mound of hard black lentils without any vegetables which was off putting. The dessert was supposedly a flourless chocolate cake and it was good but not as moist and chocolaty as I was expecting.

   We celebrated our 25th anniversary dinner at the Wildflower and it was perfect. Our waiter Martin was great and the manager also came over to say hello. The food was delicious and the ambience was beautiful and romantic. Would definitely recommend it.

   Very slow service 2 1/2 hours for the 3 course meal, an hour plus between 1st and 2nd- then the bill came and the wine was overcharged by an additional $130- Our $135 bottle of wine was $265- after another long wait it was changed to the right price- We love Wildflower and the Fairmont but this was not their night- I hope the wine was an honest mistake but I will make sure I keep an eye on their charges-

    We happened to be there for their spring special 3 course dinner. Very good value. Very nice ambience. Desserts were very good. We always like to visit the fairmont when we are in town.

    I had a pretty mixed experience. I was impressed by the overall appearance, comfort of the chairs and friendliness of staff. However, service was on the poor side. Our main course took an hour to appear. While this could be blamed on a busy kitchen, I also suffered in trying just to get water initially and in getting the final check. The place was empty, I asked for the check and still needed to wait 10 minutes. It was only when i gave up to leave and do an errand did the staff give the check to my wife in my absence. All in all, I would pass on going here again. The food and ambiance just didn't make up for the pretty poor service.

    A beautiful dining room, great ambience and loved the big picture windows. Our waitress was fab. The food was reasonable but not as good as I had expected, given the price and previous reviews. The best things were scallops, fish of the day (halibut) and short rib beef but the pasta was disappointing as it was very overcooked and had congealed into a large blob on the plate.

    We really like The Wildflower and, even more, it's twin The Grill Room. I have one serious issue, though. The chairs, at our table at least, are too low. If one is tall, as I am, it is like sitting on a low stool as one's knees are much higher that one's seat. After two hours it is quite uncomfortable. One is also rather low to the table though that is less serious. Can I bring a cushion next time?

    Waited a long time for service. Waitress seemed to forget our drinks and it came after the appy came. Vegetarian dish was lacklustre overall. This is the least impressive dinner of the four times we have been there.

    Our waiter, Chris, had THE BEST recommendations for orders. I ate everything he suggested and it felt like I was being given suggestions from Merlin. He was a calm, sweet, and happy Wizard. I’m booking another reservation as soon as I can.

    The whole dining experience was undermined by the incredibly poor service. It took us an hour to receive our cocktails, and close to two hours for our mains. For a restaurant charging these kinds of prices it was not at all worth the cost, and was a very bad value. We will not be going back any time soon.

    We were charged for something we did not eat, and returned. Then our server Sabrina said the mgr was too busy to fix the charge and would call us to make it right. We have yet to hear from anyone! The server was tipped on total that included item that should have been removed. Sneaky! Chowder was very fishy, rockfish not very good, and lamb chops flavorless and raw. We have been staying at this Fairmont for years and always dine at all of the restaurants. Wildflower has gone downhill, clearly. Not worth the $$

    Very good food - Started with a salad and scallops - very good with pork belly. For dinner we had salmon and bolegnese - needed some comfort food. Service was a little slower than I like, but very very attentive to detail. I would definitely recommend - overall a very good experience.
