The service was impeccable, the food is creative and delicious. I look forward to visiting the Wild Fig again.
Always love dining here when we visit Aspen. It’s casual and charming but sophisticated and hip. It’s one of our favorite spots in town and never disappoints!
Went there for my wife’s birthday, and we enjoyed it immensely! The burrata appetizer was excellent, as were our entrees - the special risotto and pork chop, and the squid ink fettuccine with lobster, shrimp, clams and mussels. Marcel took very good care of us, and was knowledgeable about everything we needed. I’d go back again in a heartbeat!
There were three of us eating diner and all had a wonderful meal. Two of us had the fish in a paper and thought it was amazing. I had the seafood stew and it was delicious, just a little bit spicy and wonderful flavors. Our waiter was attentive and well informed. We had a great experience all around.
Another wonderful meal- great food, excellent service, terrific drinks!
We booked on spec and were very pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent, the service attentive and friendly and the ambience was great too, relaxed and cosy. Would certainly go again and recommend.
We got engaged
Our waiter virtually ignored us. We waited an hour for steaks that were over-cooked and scallops that were cold. Never came to refill drink orders, and there were several people drinking wine that would have ordered more, had he bothered to ask.
Excellent food ans friendly service.
Food was amazing. The fig salad was delicious. My husband had the lobster risotto special with halibut. He would not stop talking about how good the halibut was. I had a spicy pasta with sausage and a red cream sauce. It was delicious. One of the best in Aspen. Will definitively go there again when we’re in town.
Very small space but great atmosphere. Food was awesome with great service! We will be back. Thank you
Wonderful and charming restaurant.
Excellent food. Our main waiter impatient and not friendly. The waiter in charge of serving water, on the other hand, was very nice.
CRAFT COCKTAILS (THEIR VERSION OF MOSCOW MULE) WAS OK, NOT GREAT. FOOD WELL PREPARED, JUST A BIT BLAND FOR MY TASTE. SERVICE WAS ATTENTIVE AND NOT INTRUSIVE
We have visited the Wild Fig over several years. This is the first occasion after a 2 year gap and we found it to be of the same excellent standard in food, wine and service. The mediterranean style menu is varied and not too extensive. It's great to have a local establishment with great food and ambience. Thank You
We had an excellent meal in a very quaint, small setting. Will be back again and again.
Extremely noisy environment. Poor service. Food was ok.
Not a place to take a date or to go have a normal conversation.
Great food and service
Everything was delicious! Bracciano was excellent! Lobster ravioli was very good yet not as outstanding as bracciano! The onion soup was very good and the ice cream truffle was superb! Martin was ver kind!
Excellent everything! Food , drinks , service outstanding!
Amazing! Cocktails, service, dinner....all amazing.
Amazing food and the cutest ambiance! Great service and recommendations as well. I’d recommend to anyone :)
The chicken was good, but very overpriced. My mom and I split the roasted chicken with I my mom (the $6 split fee was a little much...). We asked to substitute asparagus (on the menu) for the listed carrots, and they gave us a mixture of asparagus and green beans...
Decent food but a bit stuffy for sure. Probably won’t go there again.
A truly outstanding experienc. Read the reviews and had mixed feelings, but it was excellent. Very quiet and romantic, but as people showed up, so did the energy. The food was excellent and the service top notch. This will be regular stop every time I’m in Aspen.
If ambiance is important, this place is awesome. Small, intimate and yet high energy. I love a restaurant that understands how music enhances the experience! I appreciated the unique menu and excellent service
This is always a dinner stop for my husband and myself when in Aspen and it never disappoints
Warm cozy and inviting is how I would describe it. Loved the food in this bistro like setting. Service was top notch from the woman at the door who took our coats to our wonderful server Martine. He was friendly and professional. We enjoyed talking with him! Everything we ordered was delicious from the fig salad to the mussels to the duck and fish. This would definitely be one of our choices when we come back to Aspen.
I have to say that this is one of the best meals I had in Aspen Colorado ... Don't miss the pasta dishes and the whole grilled fish.
Always fabulous food service fun
Excellent food and location for a very nice dinner in Aspen. It’s cozy so book !
Fig is our favorite in Aspen. Delicious food, great wine selection and friendly staff,
A warm welcome & promptly seated.
Table was a bit cramped, too close to other people’s but is a small place.
The French onion soup & lobster ravioli was delicious
The evening was spoilt by a large group of women who arrived & were extremely loud( real Aspen Housewives! ) I was glad it wasn’t a special occasion
Always great food. My favorite has long been the Daily Risotto. This visit featured mushroom risotto with lamb chops. Excellent!
You can't go wrong!
Being Aspen it isn't inexpensive but portions are generous which combined with the great food and taste makes that very good value-for-money. What makes it pricey, and my overall rating, is the cost of wine. I won't question that they are good wines but not everyone wants to pay 3 figures for a bottle. Yes a few are priced a bit below that but only a few and not much below. You'll do more volume and make more money with less of a mark-up on wine or, at least, more of a mix in price-points.
I loved the ambiance, creative menu and great wine list. Our server was amazing - friendly, witty and gave us great recommendations. Will be a must visit on all future trips to Aspen
What a pleasant little gem! We went to Aspen for a quick overnight getaway and were looking for a nice dinner that wouldn't break the bank - we were so pleasantly surprised by Wild Fig. We arrived very early for our reservation and the restaurant couldn't accommodate us when we arrived. They suggested we get a drink and wait for a table, but the bar was packed. We went to a nearby place for a drink and the restaurant called almost immediately and said our table was ready. They were very understanding that we'd just ordered drinks elsewhere and offered to hold the table for us for 30 min. Upon arrival, they remembered us, gave us a choice of tables, and we had one of the better meals we've eaten. I had the duck, my husband chose the spicy pasta, the wines were fantastic and dessert was amazing. We will absolutely be back!
Great atmosphere, excellent food, fine service. Moroccan rub chicken, kale salad, wild fig salad, delicious Cote du Rhône. What more could one want? We come here everyone we’re in Aspen and plan to return again.
It was our anniversary dinner. We had been promised a table where we could sit next to or caddy-corner to one another, but when we arrived, the table was reserved for someone else. The food was very good, the service was okay, the decor was cozy and french, and the overall experience was acceptable but not great.
