I had Asian mussels which I can say were lovely slightly different from the normal way, hubby had carpaccio which he loved. We had the T-bone steak for two.. for our main, it was amazing we think it's the best we have tasted, we shared a dessert lemon pavalova which was also lovely. Service was good, friendly, will definitely be going again.

Lovely setting and buildings, food let down by every single dish totally swimming in butter. Made a comment to waitress to be greeted with an “oh dear”. Lovely other than butter mountain

On the positive side the food and staff were quite good although the meal was a bit expensive but on a sunny day outside we were in a very dark corner of the pub sitting on very hard wooden seats, which were uncomfortable. We wished we had sat at a table in the garden.

Food selection, quality and service were all good. The desserts were excellent but portions could have been smaller. A real dilemma - leave wonderful food or over eat!

Friendly welcome on arrival. Great selection of beers and wine. Spacious bar with the added bonus of an excellent outside seating area. Menu with a wonderful selection for all tastes. Restaurant is very impressive with plenty of space between tables and a variety of seating options. Very attentive service . Food served with a smile and good humour. We visited with friends whilst on holiday and will be back again . Thank you.
