The White Horse is gloriously situated on the marshland coastline of North Norfolk at Brancaster Staithe, a designated area of outstanding beauty.
The dining room and adjoining conservatory restaurant serves seasonal, local produce seven days a week. Shellfish when in season includes cockles, mussels and oysters from the beds at the bottom of the garden. Fish delivered to the kitchen door by the village fishermen.

    White horse is a favourite, we had a small issue with a group not leaving our table for 9 on time but the staff did the very best they could, food was great hot and on time any issues were dealt with promptly and efficiently we love the place and it continues to shine

    Monkfish starter, risotto, seafood and pork were beautifully cooked & presented. The plaice was tasty but soggy underneath. Service was slow but good. Pricey but fine fir a special occasion.

    What a shame to revisit a restaurant that was great the first time and not so good the next. Service was slow, perhaps, this was due to trying to do too many covers, which I felt was reflected in the cooking. Over cooked fish in a fish restaurant felt wasteful and subsequently I was disappointed.

    We ate in the restaurant which has a lovely view, had a delicious fresh sea food platter to share, excellent. The service was outstanding with very pleasant knowledgeable staff

    We both had haddock and chips with mushy peas which was good quality food and good value. The glass of wine and desserts were overpriced.
