   Very nice country pub located in a lovely village. Friendly accommodating staff eager to please. Food excellent with a variety of choice and good vegetarian options for a change! Good value for money too.

   Food was very good beautifully cooked and good value . They were very busy and service was a bit slow . It took ages for them to take our order but it came in reasonable time

   Great Service, Great Food. My date and I had intentions of just having lunch. The atmosphere was so good we stayed all day and into the night. Thanks for a great day.

   A bit disappointed really my fillet steak was over done, it came with a sauce I didn't want a sauce with onions, I like mustard only and the sauce was really salty. Wouldn't eat there again.

   Very solid restaurant. We went on a freezing cold day but it looks like it would be lovely in the summer. We'll be back.

   A Christmas Eve visit with my daughter. My lamb dish was excellent & my daughter commented that her vegetarian meal was extremely well seasoned. Staff both courteous & efficient.

    The food was a little disappointing and for us, slightly at odds with other Open Table reviews of the White Hart. Our shared seafood platter starter was a generous portion, but it was all rather unimaginatively prepared. The prawns were tasteless, the beetroot and shellfish mixture was swamped with water and was rather unpleasant, and the salmon roulade was bland. My partner said his main course steak was tasty - but he ordered medium rare and it arrived medium to well done. My seafood risotto was tasty, but dessert - panacotta - was rubbery and it lacked flavour. The cost was £80 for three courses for the two of us, including two glasses of wine. This would have been great value for money if the food had been more imaginative and the service accurate. The next day, I bizarrely received an email from Open Table admonishing me (very politely) for not turning up for the meal!
