Food was great and our server was very personable and friendly.
The service was fantastic as promised. Food was very good. For a middle income family, it was very expensive. I knew the prices going in, but at the end, not sure I would go again.
For the price, the steaks were average. The filet and NY we ordered were cooked perfectly medium rare but were still dry and not juicy at all. The mushrooms were tasty but didn’t knock our socks off and the arugula salad was good but nothing special. It was a fine dinner but way overpriced for the quality.
Petite Filet Mignon was the best I've ever had anywhere and I've driven all over in search of the perfect steak! Was worth the $54. They even made a sirloin very tasty and tender which is no easy feat in itself. Garlic mashed potatoes were good, but did not care for the uncooked onions & bacon fat in the spinach. Flavors just didn't work out well. Crab cakes were a bit disappointing, severely over cooked and dry. However, they offered the BIGGEST Creme Brulee I've ever seen in a bowl. Two of us had a hard time finishing it, but it was good. Served with a couple raspberries, a strawberry, and whipped cream under the berries as a garnish. Would have loved some extra fruit since it was so big and a little more vanilla flavor overall, but we'd definitely order it again. Service was good. Our waitress was prompt to bring drink refills and the timing of the food coming out was timely as well. We'll be back when we're in the area.
This place was great! Food was excellent and came out in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend this place and definitely returning. Location is great walking distance to cannery row and out hotel. Highly recommended!
Beef Wellington was awesome and the service was great.
This place came highly recommended as one of the best places to eat in Monterey. It was nicely decorated for New Year’s Eve and had a nice vibe. The restaurant manager was very cordial etc however, our food was nothing to write home about and it was quite expensive. I ordered the full prime rib dinner for 48.00 The spinach was wet and flavorless, the mash potatoes tasted like instant, and the prime rib was ok. Ice had better prime rib at black bear diner.
Nice upscale menu choices, welcoming and warm staff. The food was perfectly prepared and sumptuous.
The food and service was outstanding. Stakes, seafood and drinks this is the go to place in Monterey.
