Service was excellent and the food is delicious! We went to the Whaling Station steakhouse for our anniversary and had a great time. The steak and lamb chops were cooked perfectly according to the level of doneness we asked for. Also, highly recommend the scalloped potatoes, which were creamy and cheesy and basically to die for.

All the staff were friendly and accommodating since we were a few minutes past bar menu. Be sure to give between 4-6pm to get the bar menu prices. Delicious

From the time we walked in the door the we were greeted by maitre d to the time we were seated at out table was great. Our waiter went over the steak selections and we made our choice. Steaks were perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend the Whaling Station for all your steak dinners

I always like my visits here, but this time the delay was really noticeable. We were seated and ordered, drinks were there fairly quickly, but then 45 plus minutes for appetizers, escargot and shrimp. In the meantime no one told us that there was a problem, food was coming, anything. And the place wasn't crammed, there were empty tables. Our server mumbled something about staff turnover. I'll still come back, but I hope it doesn't happen next time. That said, my husband loved his steak and I liked the lobster.

Lovely steak only issue with dinner was garlic mash we don’t like it so it was only option with steak, other than to buy a jacket potato. Wine of my choice was not available however manager came over with his next option which was fantastic. Lovely dinner overall would go again.

For the price of the food I would expect the service and quality to be top notch. Our waiter was serving multiple tables and had to be reminded a few times about our drinks. The food was just ok. My wife had the beef Wellington and it was cooked correctly, but tasted off. I had the ribeye which was cooked correctly and tasted fine, but didn't wow me. About what I would expect from a lesser quality steak house. Shameful to pay $70 for it here. The dessert was a disappointment. I am not sure they know how to serve a creme brulee? It was runny like a soup. I think they didn't let it cool and firm up a little. I probably wouldn't return.

Our food was on time the appetizers came and there was ample time to finish them before the main course arrived. The main course was prepared perfectly and everything was right the first time. Our server was very attentive! The dessert was fenomenal as well. All in all an excellent finding experience. We will be back!

Great food, great service adds up to a great restaurant. I had the NY steak, my wife had Sand Dabs. Both were absolutely cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. We had escargot as an appetizer. Highly recommend this spot.

First off the place was very inviting‼️Our server Anthony was very friendly and instructed us on the different cuts they offer. The meat is from the plain states which is not like local beef😋The prime rib was better than we’ve ever had‼️The scalloped potatoes and spinach were luscious along with the Justin wine and perfect cannoli. Anthony alone was worth the visit with such a positive attitude. We will return‼️

Pisto's restaurant has sold and the quality he had is GONE! The only thing we enjoyed on the menu was the Abalone. Caesar salad was terrible. Sand Dabs were awful. My girlfriends enjoyed the Salmon but I'm sure it was farmed. The staff were very had working but dogs (Poodles) in the restaurant with "service" dog jackets - were obviously just pets and were very bothersome, waking off leash and bothering patrons! Save your money and go to the newer restaurants and things are not the same and these name sake restaurants obviously have changed hands.

The service was great. The food was rather disappointing. For $176 for steak and lobster the portions were a bit small, the lobster was tough and the steak had more fat and gristle than any filet should have had. Ambiance was fine and I get that it was a very important and busy week. Not sure I will come back cinsidering the price /value definitely was. It there. I could go to Flemings and get better meal for less money.

Wonderful Meal- the Porterhouse steak we shared was cooked perfectly. To our surprise the fresh spinach was cooked so well - The 5 star service was done so well. What a great place to enjoy a good meal and great atmosphere.

Waiter was very good however once he took order we didn’t see him again until time for the bill. I requested Prime Rib but needed to be rare (red) he said no problem we have that. When food came out prime rib was pink and meat was dry! No sign of anyone to send food back. Vegetable that came with entire were never communicated to me and I ate none of them. Bad experience all around.
