The Whale Wins

Every single dish we ordered was delicious and perfectly proportioned for a party of 2. The baked goat cheese and honeycomb with sea wolf bread and the salmon were a couple of our favorites. The waitress also gave us a great recommendation on a bottle of wine that was very reasonably priced and paired well with everything we ate. We dined here during COVID and the outdoor patio had heat lamps set up and the tables were well spaced out. Will definitely be returning!

The quality of the food was, as always. exceptional. We are a group of French foodies and we are neither disappointed by Whales Wins.
On top of this, it feels super safe as you dine outdoor with plenty of space between tables and heaters.
I love their new ladder too. Great stuff!

We have eaten at Whale Winds multiple times, pre- and post-pandemic. The food and service remain exceptional. The seating area on the porch out front feels very safe and is quite warm under the heaters. Our top choice for a rare date night!

Food was delicious. Best chicken mousse ever! I loved the brussels sprouts, and the clams. The pork was a bit too fatty, and I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, great spot and delicious food.

The whale wins did a beautiful job of serving up lovely food ... we felt safe, attended to, and for the hour and half that we were dining, we forgot that we were in the midst of a pandemic.

The food was excellent. The gnocchi was light as air. We let the waiter choose our wine based on our orders, and he was spot on. The heat lamps made sitting outside comfortable (and I get cold easily).

Delicious food. We loved every dish. Wish they had a few more choices for wines by the glass. Service was excellent.

I have always enjoyed dining at Whale Winds an even during Covid. The tables were well spaced and patio seating was available with heaters. It was very pleasant. The food was delicious and our waiter guided us through selections and beverages. My friend and I loved the food! Our waiter provided excellent service and was there when we were ready to order but otherwise let us carry on with our conversation.

Went out to celebrate a birthday- first time in an actual restaurant (and without our kid!) since pre-COVID and it did not disappoint. Food was all spectacular. They had the cocktail I preordered ready and waiting and were exceedingly conscientious about COVID precautions. We were one of three couples in the entire place and the staff were great.

They have delicious food and wine, and we were very impressed with how they are handling COVID-19 precautions. They clearly take the safety of their staff and customers incredibly seriously and we appreciate that!

Nice place with calm atmosphere, but the prices tend to be on the higher end, and I don't think they're justified. The gnocchi were nice, and the salad was great, but the meat in the chop was so greasy that it was unbelievable how they are even serving such meat.

What can we say that hasn’t already been said about the Whale Wins? It’s always predictably amazing. We love it.

Even amidst all the complexity of our world the team at The Whale Wins manages to deliver a wonderful dining experience. Their outdoor seating was wonderful and the food was superb.

Simple yet delicious dinner take out for two! The roasted chicken was very flavorful, and the harissa sauce excellent. Particularly loved the rhubarb galette and the chicken liver pate with pickled raisins. Thank you Whale Wins!

Our meal was in generous proportion and perfectly cooked. Even given the time it took us to pick up and drive home, the meal was still hot and oh so tasty.

Went to Whale Wins especially for the winter Monday night cassoulet. It did not disappoint!. Delicious. We ate about half, and had the rest the next night as the world's best leftovers.

We also had the roasted cabbage - which was amazing. Very rich with lardons, and not exactly a health dish. But oh my goodness delicious.

Sarah and Maya were both delightful. Service timing was perfect and the food was all super tasty.

The food and cocktails were great! My only complaint was the loud ambient volume while we ate. I really wanted to enjoy the meal, the conversation at the table and the experience but was hampered by the loud environment.

Absolutely incredible! Can’t wait to come back!
