The Wave Kitchen & Bar, offers an ocean-front dining space with amazing views of the Atlantic. The restaurant offers a menu directly sourced from local farmers, fishermen and artisanal purveyors. The Wave concept was designed to offer a dining experience similar to what one would encounter at a hospitable and cozy dinner party at a friend’s home with generous attention to detail. The open kitchen and customizable selections aim to engage guests.The Wave will also feature select Cuban specialties developed by Costa’s owners, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, from their Estefan Kitchen cookbook.

We have dined at the wave kitchen many times and were sorely disappointed this time. We went for brunch. My husband and I ordered quiche. When the waitress arrived with our dishes, we were astonished as the quiche was the size of a cookie and cost around $15. Because we were with other guests, we didn’t say anything but had we been alone we would have. Wave kitchen should be ashamed of themselves for serving such a small portion for that amount of money.

Food was fantastic! Very fresh and flavorful. Our server was fantastic! Very accommodating, especially to my dad who forgot his reading glasses. She took the time to explain the menu to him and didn’t make him feel like a chore at all! We had a great dining experience, would highly recommend!

We were very disappointed with this restaurant. Noise level was extremely loud. Service was not what we had expected. Even the tables around us were notably unhappy as well (sending food back). My chicken had no taste at all and my husband's fish was overcooked. Very expensive for what quality was provided.

Our Valentine's meal was superb! Michelle provided excellent service. It was the BEST Valentine's date we have had in the 40 Valentine's Days we have shared together.

My husband and I go to The Wave and the Cabana Bar often. We had friends visiting from San Francisco. We decided to take them to The Wave for Valentine's Day. They loved the place. The food was delicious as always!

The food was excellent specializing in seafood .I was my second time there this season in Florida and it was quite busy this time.With a lot of people dining at the same time the noise level is very high and not pleasant.

found the space to be too loud to enjoy any conversation with my wife, it was so loud that we found ourselves repeating our food choices to the waitress, over priced for atmosphere would never go again

My dish was absolutely delicious. I had the scallops from the regular menu, sort of bronzed scallops with creamy polenta and sautéd spinach, yum! My dining partners were lukewarm about their meals. One had the salmon the other Caesar salad with 1/2 a lobster . This salad / lobster combo is not offered, but the staff made an exception to accommodate my sister-in-law’s request. Only downside for me was noise level.

We decided to come here at the last minute - was not disappointed with the food and service. David is a great server - he knows the menu and makes you feel special. It was "Steak Night" where they offer different steaks of your choosing and chef specials. We shared the barbeque oysters for an appetizer. This is a delicious dish - very New Orleans - I had one of the Chef specials - Rack of Lamb - it was so good - cooked perfectly, almost decadently delicious. My husband had the regular menu Pan Roasted Red Snapper - it's always a great choice. My only issue was with our bar drinks - come on - a 30 minute wait - the bartender should take care of the "foodies" eating first rather than the bar crowd""

Reserved through Opentable. The noise level was deafening!! The couple in front of us at the hostess stand said they could not eat with that noise level and left. Service was slow at best. Sat us by the kitchen door. They brought two out of the four appetizers and after five minutes or so I flagged down the waitress and got the other two. Ran out of my menu choice and it took a long time after we initially order to let me know and offer me another selection. What I got was so salty it was terrible. We told the waitress we were leaving and left. In their defense I did receive a call from the manager the next day. But we are not going back......

Dear Opentable your choices for ‘Noise level’ need to be expanded.

We made a reservation through open table with no problem. We Will return another time because it was so enjoyable. The food was great and the atmosphere was wonderful.
