Came for a date night, and simply put from beginning to end, perfect.

It's a beautiful venue with a culinary cultivated menu. We elected to try the filet's, and were a bit disappointed that they came out well done despite ordering them medium. The service was wonderful.

My wife and I had a long overdue date night. Our waiter, Ryan, was outstanding! The food fantastic and the setting is lovely. A great night!!

My girlfriend and I go every year for our birthdays - one in May, the other in June. It has become a special treat for us and it is the only place we want to go for our birthdays, which requires a 50 mile commute past many other restaurants. Our most recent visit was as awesome as ever, and our waiter Ryan was spectacular. Of course we will be back!

It was such an enjoyable evening at The Waterfront! We sat on the patio, there wasn't much of a wait. The servers/bartenders/hostess were all very kind. There were no bugs on the patio and our steaks were perfect. I also got free dessert because it was my Birthday. We will be back again!

We always come to the Waterfront for our anniversary and it doesn't disappoint. The food is extremely delicious and beautifully flavored and plated. This restaurant makes each celebration feel special!

Simply the best restaurant in La Crosse. Great ambiance with a view of the Mississippi. Fabulous starters and wine list. Interesting entrees prepared perfectly. Most impressive of all; however, is the wait staff. I challenge you to find better trained servers anywhere in the US. You can tell this restaurant is owned by a former Marine....the staff exudes “good order and discipline!” Love the Waterfront!!!!

The food was delicious! We ordered an appetizer of bacon wrapped, gorgonzola stuffed dates, our main entrees included a filet and the chef's feature of halibut over crabbed stuffed tortellini and we finished the meal with a lemon cheesecake. The flavor of everything was wonderful. The restaurant was quiet so we could easily have conversation and the restaurant and maintained the COVID requirements perfectly. We found our server to be quite knowledgeable and he had a wonderful personality.

First time visit. What a very enjoyable experience. Sam was an awesome server. First class all around We will definitely be back.

This was our second visit and the first with all of the required changes in dining. Tables were distanced in the dining room and all staff wore masks--atmosphere felt very safe. Our server, Zach, was spot-on and is a great asset to the restaurant. Our dinners (steak and halibut) were excellent. Our appetizer, dates filled with cheese and wrapped in bacon, could have benefited by a more cooking time as the bacon was under-cooked (didn't stop us from eating it!). Overall, a great night out!

Excellent dining experience while out with friends to celebrate a birthday! Only complaint affecting "value" was that the least expensive bottle of Chardonnay was $70. So instead we had the $45 Chilean sauvignon blanc which was just fine. Our food and service were outstanding.

Salmon very dry, over cooked as were the potatoes. Veggies under cooked, cold at serving. VERY noisy restaurant. Wouldn’t go back

Sam was our server and he was excellent...very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything we had was phenomenal including the wine, appetizer, salad and main entrees. We have never had a bad meal here and feel very thankful to have such a wonderful restaurant near by.

Our waiter, Brain, was wonderful! We were out celebrating our anniversary. Our dessert ended up being a free treat from The Waterfront. It was so sweet! The food was also amazing! I definitely reccomend going here!

Service was excellent. Salad was not impressive, need to return to pistachios instead of pecans and add some other vegetables. Drinks excellent. Dessert menu remains a solid disappointment. Not everyone loves chocolate. Cheesecake is a necessity but not made with goat cheese.

Waterfront seemed a bit dated in the decor and even the menu. The food was OK; I had the Mahi Mahi which was bland and overcooked but others enjoyed the risotto or their cuts of meat. For LaCrosse, it seemed priced like Chicago which surprised me. Overall it was OK but I don't think we'll return.

The Waterfront has a great design - it looks well put together and made with comfort in mind. The service was very friendly and attentive from the start, and kept up excellent service through the meal. The table was very happy with their meals of the sirloin burgers and the chicken salad platter. The appetizer of the mushroom and leek tart was fantastic and an excellent start the the meal.
