The Warehouse Ratings and Reviews
This was my first time at this restaurant and I have to say I enjoyed it. I made reservations and when I arrived, we were taken to our table. We decided to sit outside to enjoy the view. Although we were outside, we were still able to hear the live music. I enjoyed my meal which was the stuffed salmon. The portions were ample and the service was great! I would definitely go there again and would recommend this restaurant to others.
We had an outstanding meal with great service. My friend had the Atlantic Salmon (baked with crab stuffing and covered with a lobster-chardonnay sauce). Her side was Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese. She was almost in tears as she ate her dinner because the food was so superb.
I had the Fiji Louie Salad (crab and shrimp salad, asparagus, beets, olives, tomatoes, iceberg lettuce and Louie dressing). It was so, so good.
Both presentations were especially pleasing to the eye.
Our server, Mike, was super, there when needed, not overpowering, and friendly.
We will be going back.
Great spot, hard to understand why it was not busier on Friday night - it was an early reservation though.
Menu is great pretty standard steak / seafood. What jumps out at me is the reasonable prices for what you get. The space is great right on the Marina. I would have to say overall the Warehouse is the best value anywhere in Santa Monica / Venice / MDR area. Very pleasant space too.
A far superior alternative to the newer trendy restaurants with their way overthought menus and tiny portions.
We picked up our daughter from LAX and wanted to take her to a nice brunch for a belated birthday celebration. The breakfast food was very good and the service excellent. The omelette bar was excellent as was the waffle bar. Ingredients were fresh and a good selection. The lunch side was also very good and food had good variety. We did not partake of the champagne but the coffee was very good and our cups never empty. We were seated promptly. Would go again.
We were disappointed from the moment that we arrived. They seated us upstairs where it was stuffy and became increasingly hot and uncomfortable as the meal went on. The service was decent but very slow. The food was a complete disappointment this time as well. The meat was tough and overcooked, the potatoes were dry, and the bagels were very stale. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the entire experience. The bill (finally) came and it was over $300 for 6 people with the tip already added. We won't be coming back.
When you walk into a restaurant for a 7:30pm reservation on a Friday night in LA, and the place is empty, there's usually a reason. So we had a pretty bad feeling about this restaurant before we even sat down...
They did not fail to disappoint. Over $200 with full tip for the three of us.
I booked this place for my father’s surprise birthday party. We were seated on the second floor and for some reason, it was very warm in the restaurant. We had to ask our waitress numerous times to please turn on the fan or increase the AC. Toward the end of our meal, the live band downstairs were preparing to performing. The speakers made super loud non-pleasant noises that made us leave the restaurant right after we ate. If wasn’t for those mistakes, I would have given this place 5 stars.
Had a lovely seat outside on the patio by the water. The buffett has so much variety, everything from breakfast food (including fresh made omelettes and scrambed eggs) to fish, meat, sushi, dessert and always refreshed. Champagne mimosas as well. Always enjoyable!
We went this past weekend to Sunday Brunch to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. Although we made a reservation, we were not seated until 20 minutes after the time we reserved. This is because we declined to sit outside. The mimosas were awesome; the food was lacking. The best thing at the buffet had to be the waffles. The macaroni and cheese tasted like kraft out of the box. There werent any items that my family strongly recommended that others try. I definitely encourage the restaurant to improve their buffet options by adding pizza, pastas (Fettuccine and pesto for example), and improving the quality of the dishes they do offer. We had fun but the food was just OK. The place could benefit from live music or at least a guitarist on Sundays as well.
We enjoyed dinner at the Warehouse for our 44th Anniversary. We have been coming to the Warehouse for at least5 15 years for brunch, dinner, relatives visiting, etc. Why has the price gone up?? We were disappointed in the increase and it could determine if we're able to continue to patronage you.
