The Vineyard never disappoints! The food, wine, and service were outstanding!
Ice portion sizes. Great food. Really enjoyed it. We will be back!
This is our favorite spot in Havre de Grace! Always love it and will go back at least twice a month!!
The Vineyard meal was jus so fantastic!
My husband & friends have been to the Vineyard many times. It's always been excellent!
Nice selection of wines available in small 3 oz. pours starting at $3.50, many around $4. Also a nice range of food items.
The best in Maryland.
Delightful meal, friendly respectful service, incredible flavors. The chef is an artist! We always have an excellent meal and a memorable experience at the Vineyard Wine Bar. One of the things we most love about, and in, Havre de Grace.
Nice location and atmosphere for a dinner with friends. Intimate setting and good food choices!
Always excellent food, Interesting specials and very nice wine list. Very attentive staff
Cozy and romantic, amazing service, wonderful food and of course the wine was fantastic.
My second visit within one week, I was not disappointed either time. The food is innovative and delicious with lovely presentation. The wine was so good that we took 2 bottles home!
We had an outstanding experience this summer at The Vineyard while attending a wedding. We were given a gift card recently to The Vineyard and anticipated using it for another great experience. We had exactly that yesterday with great engaging service and a wonderful selection of menu items at a reasonable price. The food was outstanding and we will definitely return. We discussed what we had with the giver of gift card and they had eaten the same items and agreed they were great.
Cozy atmosphere, 3oz pours to try a variety of wines, small delicious plates to share
Good menu, amazing wine list. Went a ways out of our way, but it was worth the drive!
I absolutely love The Vineyard for the incredible wine selection, delicious upscale food, and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re out for a romantic date or a catching up with friends, you feel like you’re the only people in the bar. Just the right amount of patronage. Excellent service as always!
The draft from the door is distracting. The food is really good!
The quality and preparation of the food is always aced!
The wine and the breadth of choices is the best around the Baltimore region.
The service is first class and attention to the customer is priority #1.
We loved the ambiance and our couch coffee table seating was perfect for our group. Impeccable wine selection and the tapas style plates provided an array of flavors. Service was well paced allowing us to enjoy each selection and good conversation. The chocolate lovin’ cake is a true masterpiece for the chocolate connoisseur. We will definitely be returning!
Wonderful food with great service and a cozy, neighborhood feel. Fantastic wine menu and very knowledgeable staff to guide you to the perfect bottle. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.
Always a great experience.
Wonderful food and service. We went on their Ninth Anniversay but are regulars. This time a new Fall menu was introduced. We split the chicken flatbread - outstanding flavors. My husband had the ravioli and I enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Of course, we had a wonderful wine. Can't wait to return!
Perfect place for a ladies night out!
Had a great fall menu. The wild game on the menu was fantastic. I had both the venison and wild boar dishes and they were totally worth it.
Interesting restaurant in the town of Havre de Grace. We were 6 for lunch and we were given a table in a room adjacent to the wine bar. Our server was great and very knowkedable about the food and the wine selections. Unfortunately the flatbreads we ordered were just so so, the cheeses & accompaniments were ok but not great and neither were the sandwiches we tried. Nothing was outstanding enough to warrant a return to eat.
I suppose this would be a great spot for friends to meet over a few glasses of wine as the wine selection is extensive but I wouldn’t go back for a meal.
We haven’t been to a Vineyard in awhile and will not wait so long again. We had a wonderful lunch. The holiday was quiet but service, food and wine were excellent. We shared several tapas style plates including the Mushroom Tart, which was amazing, the Watermelon Salad (perfect for a summer like October day) and the Chicken Salad wrap. I thought I was full after two courses but managed to finish my half of the delish sandwich! Of course, the wine was perfect! This is such a wonderful place to spend a quiet afternoon!
We dined before a show at the opera house
Food is always good and service is always friendly Staff never disappoints!
The food was exquisite, and the wine paring was superb. As if being transported to a gastronomic oasis with attentive staff and fluent ambience. Thank you.
We came to The Vineyard to celebrate my parents 55th Wedding Anniversary. They had a gift card and we love wine. Great combination! The Vineyard is set in quaint downtown Havre de Grace. The main dinning room is narrow, has a bar and about 10 tables. The wine selection is large and delicious. My only complaint is that there was no Cabernet from the Alexander Valley region (my fav). However, the Malbec I had was delicious.
We ordered the mushroom tart and baked Brie to begin. Both were delicious and did not disappoint. For dinner we ordered chicken and crab pasta, blackened chicken flatbread, filet, and shrimp & grits. The flatbread and the shrimp & grits were hot spicy dishes. They were good, but not too notch. The steak and chicken/crab dishes were much better. Portions for most were small except the flatbread. That was enough for a full meal.
Dessert! We enjoyed their ice cream special very much. It was a sweet red wine ice cream with black cherries and chocolate chips. Fantastic! We also had a chocolate mousse cake that was good. The ladies enjoyed the mousse more than I did, but it was still delectable.
Total bill was $200 for 4 people with wine dinner and dessert. Overall we had a very nice time and enjoyed our experience.
This is only our second time here but we absolutely love it for date night especially. Excellent food and service. It was our anniversary and it felt cozy and special. Our new favorite place.
Second time I've had lunch at the Vineyard and both times it has been absolutely great! Server was a darling, food was fabulous, and it's in Havre de Grace - a win, win, win!
The wine the food, atmosphere and service was all EXCEPTIONAL.
I highly recommend this gem.
If I lived in the area I would be a regular.
Chef Ron is unforgettable he has taken a very good menu to the next level. This is a must visit
Tried this place 4 yrs ago & was not impressed with food & noise level. Same issues still exist this time. It’s overpriced & just not that good along with small space which results in uncomfortable noise level. The only thing positive is wine list
Nice neighborhood restaurant in Havre de Grace. Food is unique and very good. Excellent wine list.
Totally enjoyed the restaurant. The server was fantastic and explained so much about wine choices. We had a member of our party with some allergy issues so it was important to understand the way the wine was fermented. She was pleasant and informative but also attentive to our dining. Ambience is distinctive sitting in the middle of the wine room. Just loved it.
We were entertaining good friends in from out of state. As always when we want a special evening, we made reservations at The Vineyard Wine Bar. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted by Joe and his staff. Andrea our server made great recommendations on wine pairings. She also provided just enough attention without hovering over our table. The food, as always, was not only delicious but the presentation was outstanding! Highly recommend The Vineyard Wine Bar.
Lovely place to have an early dinner
We recently hosted an event for Harford Community College's President and senior deans to preview a professors film on "radio pirates." 20 people attended. The "wine room" was comfortably set up for 20 people. Champagne served, followed by pate, small plates during the film and then plates of duck, meatballs followed by delicious "Kim" cream puffs. Andrea served flawlessly during the film, quietly and efficiently. The chef was outstanding -- food perfectly prepared. My French chef wife and I do a lot of entertaining in high end private clubs including Cosmos Club and Chevy Chase Club in Washington and they could not come close to the service, attention, quality of food that the Vineyard provided -- and at half the price. The Vineyard is a destination restaurant -- worth a trip from DC, Baltimore or Philadelphia. Perfect for weddings, graduation ceremonies, fundraisers of any type. At the conclusion we offered everyone a bottle of wine and they took their time selecting from the Vineyard's well priced stock of hand picked wines. And there could be nothing better than visiting historic Havre de Grace, take in the beautiful views at the top of the bay -- maybe even spend the night at the Vandever Inn -- that way you could get in at least two meals at the Vineyard. My wife's restaurant near Annecy, France was in the Michelin guide -- and there is a motto that two star restaurants are "worth a detour." The vineyard is worth a detour and a stay!
Pre Wedding Luncheon . We were in Havre de Grace for a wedding late Saturday afternoon and we wanted to have an early lunch. We looked at the menu on line and it looked interesting and very reasonable. We used Open Table to book a reservation and we were glad we had done so as there were no tables available for walking when we arrived. The service was great and a very engaging waitress who was efficient. The meals the four of us ordered were totally outstanding. My spouse that her watermelon salad was so fresh and the best she had ever had. It was a perfect lunch before the afternoon wedding and so very reasonable!
