Even though I received several confirmations from OpenTable, the restaurant was actually closed permanently. It was a very unpleasant experience for my birthday. They apparently closed two weeks before I even made the reservation on OpenTable, and I'm not sure why they continue to be featured on your site. Please remove them to save someone else this embarrassment.
Open Table took my reservation for Father's Day but when we showed up for brunch the restaurant wasn't even open; apparently had been closed all weekend. My daughter had had the same experience with Vine a few weekends before. Maybe it's going out of business or simply is so badly run that they don't realize being open on weekends tends to be good for biz.
Can't review, because when we arrived for our Father's Day Brunch, the Vine was closed! Only notice was a sign on the door saying "Closed". Now they were good enough to call a couple days prior to 'Confirm' our reservation. Upon making reservation thru Open Table, they even required a credit card in order to charge me $30 per person if we were to cancel or no-show for the reservation! Okay, you were a no-show, so where's my $30 per person credit??
Great job spoiling a fun Father's Day event for my whole family!
And where was Open Table thru all this? You couldn't have notified clients with reservations that the Vine had closed?
We ate a brunch for a group if eight. The restaurant was less than half full, but nevertheless very noisy, mainly because of the overly loud background music. It's a pleasant enough place, and the food was excellent. However, it took nearly an hour and a half for any food to appear. This is inexcusable since the restaurant was not busy. Service was a little slap dash as well. I understand The Vine is relatively new, so maybe that problem will be addressed. I would hope so; the kitchen staff is good, now they need some close attention to timing.
Fantastic establishment! We had a party of 15 and they took excellent care of us. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in Nashville.
It was a pleasant experience , Took my Mother for Mothers Day. The brunch was awesome
I haven't seen much press on The Vine but we were pleasantly surprised at how great it was. Started out with $3 mimosas (a steal!) and had a great brunch. The biscuits and sage gravy were awesome! They make their own sausage which was extremely salty. Bacon rocked. Our waiter, John was phenomenal. He had a fantastic personality and was very attentive. We had a group of 6 and the dining room was nice and spacious. I would avoid outdoor seating as the location is on the corner right at an interstate entrance. Too bad as the patio is big but no ambience outdoors.
I was in Nashville for a long weekend vacation and planned an outing to celebrate Mother's day with my mom who drove up from Atlanta. Not being familiar with the local brunch scene, I went to open table to find a spot. The Vine turned out to be a great choice! The food was AMAZING! I had the pork tenderloin biscuits and they were delicious! Service was good, but a bit slow which is to be expected on a busy occasion like Mother's day. The best part is that my brother decided at the last minute to drive up from Atlanta to surprise my mom and I had to call to switch our reservation from 5 people to 6 and The Vine was happy to accommodate my request. It was a lovely dining experience and again the food was soooo good! I would dine here again if back in town and would recommend to family & friends.
The Vine was chosen for a special occasion because on a previous trip the combination of good food and a great vibe justified a return trip. So, once again, the food was good even with a somewhat limited menu, but there were no people there on a weekend night. Except for the awkward utterances of our server, the place seemed more like a library.
Too bad; hope they are going to make it.
We love the Vine!! The food is amazing and the ambience is great...always had excellent service. The mangers always bend over backwards to accommodate us. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!!
