We have always enjoyed this cozy restaurant and it was good again, however the food and service wasn't as great as normal, but it was still a good experience. Also, it was very hot in the room so it was a bit uncomfortable. The service good but a bit slow and the waitress kept saying it was coming, but it wasn't. She also was a bit over-the-top by saying "was your food amazing, I see that your dessert was completely delicious, etc." so it didn't seem sincere and was hard to respond too. We will come back but hope it gets back to the normal great experience.

The draft coming in from outside was an issue. Velvet curtain not sufficient. There was only one server for entire restaurant. They need to provide bread or something because meal took long and portions are small. Need more wine selection especially since it's called "Village Cork." Lots of potential, they need to invest money into updating ceiling, getting rid of one of the main doors and creating vestibule. Dinner was great however.

Made a reservation through open table which was confirmed but the restaurant was closed when we got there. Really don't know if it is good or bad yet. Open Table should have a n/a category to choose from

I have been coming to the charming, neighborhood restaurant for years and am never disappointed. Food menu is small, focusing on seasonal delectable dishes. Wine list is always solid. Wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Lisa is a delightful owner who greets her guests with a smile.

We used to love village cork. Unfortunately it seems that as their restaurant expanded, so did their prices. I have no problem paying $12 for a salad. I like salad. I don't like when my $12 sad is smaller than the size of my balled up fist. It's a broccoli salad, people! Broccoli is not expensive!! The ravioli ($13 or $14? Can't remember) contained three small ravioli. I get that if it's filled with lobster or gold shavings. But this was vegetarian ravioli. The only item that had any heft to it was the poutine... Which contained soggy fries. YEs, poutines are covered in gravy, but the fries should at least have been crispy at some point in their lives. We won't be dining here again. Overpriced and underwhelming. "Small plates" does not mean you get to rip off your customer.

Food was good...one complaint is that to charge $13 for three tiny pieces of ravioli is a bit much.

Cozy atmosphere, good for a fall date. Service was very slow. It took 5 minutes to get a glass of water, and 10 minutes after that before we met our server. Food was fine, but the menu is limited, and my broccoli salad was pretty small. The warm brie and garlic was wonderful, and my husband enjoyed his burger. We enjoyed a great bottle of red wine. I was somewhat irritated by server's presumptive "Is everything great?" query. It wasn't great, but if I say no, it sounds like it was bad.

Overall good atmosphere, but service requires patience.

We had dine there two times before and enjoyed the selections more slanted to traditional offerings with their own unique twist by the creative chef. However, the summer menu was quite a "shock" of unexpected offerings. The drinks we had were first. We still where undecided as to what was appetizers and what was the main course offerings? Both listings where made up of mixtures that kept you guesting. At one point after the drinks arrive we thought about paying for the drinks and leaving..but we did not depart. I should have looked at the menu before we made the reservation. We probably wont try to visit there again. In fact, the couple who joined us had to go out to eat after we all left.

Normally, my husband and I enjoy dining here, but this time we were extremely disappointed in the food. I had the fish and chips...the fish (cod) was chewy, overcooked and bland, and the fingerling potatoes were so salty I couldn't eat them. My husband had the waygu burger, which was okay, but he thought the cheese had an odd taste to it and overall felt it was an unremarkable dinner. So sad...this experience will probably keep us from returning.

The Village Cork never disappoints. I've been coming here for years and it's always a delight. Love finding "thoughtful" restaurants that take loving care in every aspect of the experience. This restaurant excels at that experience consistently.

They always have amazing food with a unique menu. It was a great dinner and did not disappoint. The only problem was that it was very hot in the restaurant and our whole group got a bit uncomfortable, but otherwise it was great.

I come here about once every month or so. The menu changes seasonally, and I've always had good choices. I'm vegetarian and either they have something in the menu or will make up a dish to accommodate. Servers are helpful (and honest) with suggestions.

We've been here before, but decided to come back now that we're back in the neighborhood. Wine list is great, but we only sampled reds. Brie and garlic is amazing, mushroom risotto was great as was the gnocchi. If you're really hungry, you probably wouldn't be overly happy; think wine bar/tapas, small servings with a larger price than the average meal, but packed full of flavor and uniqueness. We were even treated to a sample of another appetizer that the chef was experimenting with. Server was great; he obviously liked his job and was knowledgeable in wine, Dante, and death metal. Would definitely go back again, but given pricing, it's a treat for us and not a once a week affair!

This restaurant grew from a wine and cheese bar to a restaurant with a full menu. We had not been there since it became a restaurant so wanted to try it. The food choices were interesting, but all our dishes were bland and generally disappointing. I usually give a restaurant more than one shot, but this one has a ways to go. With so many other good restaurant choices in the Denver area, we probably won't be back to this one.

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday - had a great night of eats and wine! We were treated to a little champagne toast, our server recommended a great bottle of Barbera to share, and we loved the food. Highly recommend for a special occasion and for anyone that loves a cozy wine bar!

We have missed out of the fantastic dining experience for the last 6 years, but plan to make up for it as much as possible. Fantastic food, incredible wine list and pairing suggestions and the staff are kind and knowledgeable. One can tell they believe in what they are serving and recommending. We already have another reservation made and looking forward to heading back sooner rather than later. Thank you!

We have dined at Village Cork in the past and have had wonderful meals. We had a large group on Saturday night and our food was disappointing. Not sure if it was service for 10 or just a bad night. Risotto was undercooked and had no taste.

Was so disappointed!! The food was not good. Went with a larger group. I had the spaghetti squash and the husband had the hangar steak. The squash was not good, steak was better. The waiter smelled of BO badly. We ordered a $45 Cabernet but were told they were sold out of it. Asked for a comparable and were shown the $125 bottle. Really?!?! We ordered two orders of cookies and milk for dessert- I've never had a worse cookie. They were extremely dry and tasteless. The squash and cookies should immediately be taken off your menu.

I introduced a friend to Village Cork for lunch. We had a lovely time. The menu is limited, but there are plenty of options for every type of eater. My friend had the chicken stew and said it was incredible. I had the chicken crepe, very satisfying, delicious with nuanced flavors. The waitress was very warm and inviting.

I love the Village Cork. It's great for lunch, cocktails, wine, dinner. It's a special spot!
